Il est surprenant de constater qu&rsquo;un grand nombre d&#8217;employ\u00e9s est pr\u00eat, en principe, \u00e0 v\u00e9rifier aupr\u00e8s de l&#8217;employeur s&rsquo;ils peuvent encore \u00eatre employ\u00e9s pendant leur absence (83%). <em>\u00ab\u00a0C&rsquo;est un signe encourageant\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>, d\u00e9clare Bart Teuwen, expert en absence chez Mensura et Certimed. <em>\u00ab\u00a0Cela montre que ceux qui veulent et peuvent travailler pendant une absence sont pr\u00eats \u00e0 discuter des diff\u00e9rentes possibilit\u00e9s.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Un autre chiffre d\u00e9montre que le dialogue sur l&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme et l&#8217;employabilit\u00e9 doit \u00eatre men\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re diff\u00e9rente: 7 Belges sur 10 se sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 rendus au travail malades. <em>\u00ab\u00a0Le danger du pr\u00e9sent\u00e9isme, qui consiste \u00e0 se rendre au travail parce que l&rsquo;on subit une pression justifi\u00e9e ou per\u00e7ue pour le faire, est donc \u00e0 port\u00e9e de main. L&rsquo;approche actuelle de l&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme est un \u00e9chec. Nous devons nous remettre autour de la table avec toutes les personnes concern\u00e9es.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Nous sommes irrit\u00e9s quand notre coll\u00e8gue est malade<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les employ\u00e9s et les employeurs belges trouvent les cong\u00e9s de maladie p\u00e9nibles. C&rsquo;est ce qu&rsquo;a prouv\u00e9 une enqu\u00eate ind\u00e9pendante sur les absences* men\u00e9e par Mensura et Certimed. Environ 44% des employeurs trouvent que l&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme est tr\u00e8s d\u00e9stabilisant pour leur entreprise, 1 personne sur 3 le qualifiant de \u00ab\u00a0plut\u00f4t ennuyeux\u00a0\u00bb. Les employ\u00e9s sont \u00e9galement d\u00e9\u00e7us lorsqu&rsquo;un coll\u00e8gue ne se pr\u00e9sente pas au travail de mani\u00e8re impr\u00e9vue. Pas moins de 64% des salari\u00e9s trouvent l&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme des coll\u00e8gues g\u00eanant.<\/p>\n<p>Bart Teuwen, expert en absent\u00e9isme chez Mensura et Certimed: <em>\u00ab\u00a0Reprendre le travail d&rsquo;un coll\u00e8gue absent, former un rempla\u00e7ant, devoir revenir soudainement lors d\u2019un jour de cong\u00e9&#8230; Ce ne sont l\u00e0 que quelques exemples de l&rsquo;effet de l&rsquo;absence sur vos coll\u00e8gues directs. Et c&rsquo;est l\u00e0 que r\u00e9side le danger : avant m\u00eame de s&rsquo;en rendre compte, une culture de l&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme peut s&rsquo;installer, o\u00f9 les employ\u00e9s toujours pr\u00e9sents se font porter p\u00e2le \u00e0 la prochaine occasion.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Nous sommes pr\u00eats \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0faire quelque chose pour le travail\u00a0\u00bb en notre absence.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Selon Bart Teuwen, il est important que les employeurs engagent un dialogue diff\u00e9rent, chaleureux et professionnel avec leurs employ\u00e9s lorsqu&rsquo;ils sont absents pour cause de maladie ou d&rsquo;accident: \u00ab\u00a0<em>Les employeurs n&rsquo;entament g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pas de dialogue avec un employ\u00e9 absent pour cause de maladie ou d&rsquo;accident. Dans de nombreux cas, il se limite \u00e0 signaler l&rsquo;absence et \u00e0 r\u00e9diger une d\u00e9claration de maladie obligatoire. Cependant, nous devrions penser beaucoup plus en termes de possibilit\u00e9s. Une personne ayant une jambe cass\u00e9e, qui reste \u00e0 la maison ou qui est malade pendant une longue p\u00e9riode, peut encore \u00eatre capable et d\u00e9sireuse de travailler d&rsquo;une mani\u00e8re ou d&rsquo;une autre. Mettre l&rsquo;accent sur les possibilit\u00e9s dont disposent encore les employ\u00e9s est un pas tr\u00e8s important vers une r\u00e9duction structurelle de l&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme pour cause de maladie dans notre pays. Le processus de r\u00e9int\u00e9gration apr\u00e8s une longue p\u00e9riode d&rsquo;absence n\u00e9cessite \u00e9galement cet \u00e9tat d&rsquo;esprit.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9tude de Mensura et Certimed d\u00e9montre en effet que les employ\u00e9s sont dispos\u00e9s \u00e0 continuer \u00e0 travailler d&rsquo;une mani\u00e8re ou d&rsquo;une autre pendant une p\u00e9riode d&rsquo;absence. Par exemple, 83% des employ\u00e9s indiquent qu&rsquo;ils seraient pr\u00eats, si les circonstances le permettent, \u00e0 continuer \u00e0 faire quelque chose pour leur travail pendant leur absence pour cause de maladie ou d&rsquo;accident.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Danger de pr\u00e9sent\u00e9isme<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dans le m\u00eame temps, Mensura et Certimed mettent \u00e9galement en garde contre les dangers que peuvent repr\u00e9senter le pr\u00e9sent\u00e9isme. Bart Teuwen: <em>\u00ab\u00a0Personne n&rsquo;est cens\u00e9 travailler malade. La sant\u00e9 et le bien-\u00eatre sont essentiels pour \u00eatre motiv\u00e9, productif et capable de travailler sur le long terme. Ceux qui se rendent au travail malades peuvent potentiellement infecter leurs coll\u00e8gues et ne seront pas efficaces.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> Les chiffres de l&rsquo;enqu\u00eate sur l&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme sugg\u00e8rent que la Belgique active repousse d\u00e9j\u00e0 cette limite. 67% de la population active a indiqu\u00e9 qu&rsquo;elle se rendrait au travail malade. 7 personnes sur 10 sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 rest\u00e9es au travail malgr\u00e9 leur maladie ou leur manque d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie.<\/p>\n<p>Les travailleurs de la tranche d&rsquo;\u00e2ge la plus jeune (18-34 ans), en particulier, se rendent au travail malgr\u00e9 leur maladie (73%). Les femmes (72%) sont \u00e9galement plus susceptibles de travailler en arr\u00eat maladie que les hommes (62%). Parmi les raisons invoqu\u00e9es pour continuer \u00e0 travailler figurent le d\u00e9sir de se sentir utile, mais aussi de faire bonne impression ou de craindre la r\u00e9action des coll\u00e8gues ou des sup\u00e9rieurs.<\/p>\n<p>Bart Teuwen: <em>\u00ab\u00a0Ces chiffres soulignent l&rsquo;importance d&rsquo;un dialogue ouvert entre employeurs et employ\u00e9s. L&#8217;employ\u00e9 ne doit pas se sentir oblig\u00e9 de retourner au travail s&rsquo;il est malade. Mais si l&#8217;employ\u00e9 est d\u00e9sireux de travailler, les alternatives doivent \u00eatre soumises \u00e0 la discussion. La crise sanitaire a montr\u00e9, par exemple, que dans de nombreux emplois, il est tout \u00e0 fait possible de rester employable de chez soi, m\u00eame en quarantaine. En autorisant une forme de t\u00e9l\u00e9travail, en tant qu&#8217;employeur, vous soutenez un employ\u00e9 malade qui indique qu&rsquo;il veut se rendre utile.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Afin de parvenir \u00e0 une politique d&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme durable et positive, Mensura et Certimed invitent toutes les personnes concern\u00e9es par l&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme &#8211; employeurs, experts, responsables RH et employ\u00e9s &#8211; \u00e0 entamer un dialogue.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Source : \u00e9tude ind\u00e9pendante sur l&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme r\u00e9alis\u00e9e entre le 5 mars 2021 et le 23 mars 2021 par le bureau d&rsquo;\u00e9tudes Indiville pour Mensura et Certimed aupr\u00e8s de 1000 salari\u00e9s (53% d&#8217;employ\u00e9s, 8% d&rsquo;ouvriers, 39% de fonctionnaires) et 511 employeurs (profils RH ou autre implication dans la politique d&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme).
