Le risque que les travailleurs s\u2019absentent pour maladie si les employeurs ne pr\u00eatent pas attention au travail adapt\u00e9 augmente avec l\u2019\u00e2ge et, \u00e0 long terme, menace de mettre \u00e0 mal notre s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sociale.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Des chercheurs danois ont suivi pendant six ans plus de 69 000 travailleurs (environ autant de femmes que d\u2019hommes), un groupe repr\u00e9sentatif de la population active. Pour \u00eatre \u00e9ligibles, les travailleurs ne devaient pas avoir pris plus de six semaines cons\u00e9cutives de cong\u00e9 de maladie au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dant l\u2019\u00e9tude. Les participants ont rempli un questionnaire valid\u00e9 \u00e0 quatre reprises pendant l\u2019\u00e9tude et ont fourni des informations pertinentes sur leur \u00e2ge, leur IMC, leur comportement en mati\u00e8re de tabagisme et les facteurs psychosociaux li\u00e9s au travail.<\/p>\n<p>Afin d\u2019identifier la charge physique des participants, sept formes d\u2019exposition ont d\u2019abord \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9finies, telles que se tenir debout, travailler avec le dos courb\u00e9 ou tordu et lever les bras au-dessus de la hauteur des \u00e9paules. Les participants devaient indiquer combien de temps ils \u00e9taient expos\u00e9s \u00e0 une telle charge physique. Sur cette base, les chercheurs ont ensuite pu \u00e9tablir un indice ergonomique et diviser les t\u00e2ches en quatre cat\u00e9gories, allant d\u2019exigences physiques tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9es \u00e0 faibles.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Dans le groupe des jeunes collaborateurs ayant un travail exigeant, 7,2 % de la population \u00e9tudi\u00e9e est tomb\u00e9e malade pendant de longues p\u00e9riodes au cours de l\u2019\u00e9tude de six ans\u00a0\u00bb,<\/em> explique Frank Weckx, segment manager Industrie et Nettoyage d\u2019IDEWE. \u00ab\u00a0<em>Pour le groupe plus \u00e2g\u00e9, c\u2019\u00e9tait le double. Les chiffres montrent qu\u2019une bonne politique de pr\u00e9vention est indispensable, surtout pour les collaborateurs plus \u00e2g\u00e9s.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Optimiser la capacit\u00e9 de travail<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019absent\u00e9isme pour cause de maladie de longue dur\u00e9e est un \u00e9v\u00e9nement dramatique pour les collaborateurs \u00e0 titre personnel, mais aussi pour l\u2019organisation pour laquelle ils travaillent et pour la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, qui doit contenir la pression sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sociale.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Si nous voulons, en tant que soci\u00e9t\u00e9, r\u00e9aliser notre ambition de maintenir la population au travail plus longtemps en repoussant l\u2019\u00e2ge de la pension, nous ne devons pas n\u00e9gliger la vitalit\u00e9 tout au long de la carri\u00e8re. En effet, l\u2019\u00e9volution des circonstances telles que l\u2019\u00e2ge, les int\u00e9r\u00eats, les possibilit\u00e9s, les comp\u00e9tences et l\u2019environnement de travail, signifie que la capacit\u00e9 de travail d\u2019un collaborateur n\u2019est pas une constante et que les t\u00e2ches et les conditions de vie au travail doivent \u00eatre r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement r\u00e9examin\u00e9es.
