C&rsquo;est ce que r\u00e9v\u00e8le le rapport SAS Curiosity@Work, une nouvelle \u00e9tude men\u00e9e par SAS, le leader de l\u2019analytique, qui a interrog\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de 2.000 cadres dans le monde et analys\u00e9 les donn\u00e9es de LinkedIn au cours de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Le rapport d\u00e9finit la curiosit\u00e9 comme \u00ab l&rsquo;impulsion \u00e0 rechercher de nouvelles informations et exp\u00e9riences et \u00e0 explorer de nouvelles possibilit\u00e9s \u00bb, soulignant l&rsquo;importance de cette caract\u00e9ristique, quel que soit le r\u00f4le ou le niveau de l&#8217;employ\u00e9 au sein de son organisation. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que pr\u00e8s des trois quarts (72 %) des managers pensent que la curiosit\u00e9 est un trait de caract\u00e8re tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cieux chez les employ\u00e9s, que plus de la moiti\u00e9 d&rsquo;entre eux sont tout \u00e0 fait d&rsquo;accord pour dire que cette comp\u00e9tence a un impact r\u00e9el sur l&rsquo;entreprise (59 %) et que les employ\u00e9s les plus curieux sont plus performants (51 %).<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude souligne \u00e9galement comment la curiosit\u00e9 a gagn\u00e9 en popularit\u00e9 chez les recruteurs. Selon les donn\u00e9es de LinkedIn, d&rsquo;une ann\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre, on constate une augmentation de 158 % de l&rsquo;engagement dans les messages, les partages et les articles mentionnant la curiosit\u00e9, une croissance de 90 % des offres d&#8217;emploi mentionnant la curiosit\u00e9 et une croissance de 87 % de la mention des comp\u00e9tences li\u00e9es \u00e0 la curiosit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Alors que les managers craignent une Grande D\u00e9mission comme aux Etats-Unis, ils sont 60% \u00e0 estimer qu\u2019il est difficile de maintenir le moral et la motivation des employ\u00e9s \u00e0 un niveau \u00e9lev\u00e9. Plus de la moiti\u00e9 d&rsquo;entre eux ont du mal \u00e0 retenir les bons employ\u00e9s (52 %), \u00e0 les inciter \u00e0 aller au-del\u00e0 des t\u00e2ches de base (51 %) et \u00e0 favoriser la collaboration avec d&rsquo;autres \u00e9quipes et services (50 %). Cependant, bon nombre des avantages associ\u00e9s \u00e0 la curiosit\u00e9 r\u00e9pondent directement \u00e0 ces d\u00e9fis. Les managers interrog\u00e9s s&rsquo;entendent pour dire que cette comp\u00e9tence cl\u00e9 incite \u00e0 une plus grande efficacit\u00e9 et productivit\u00e9 (62 %), une r\u00e9flexion et des solutions plus cr\u00e9atives (62 %), une collaboration et un travail d&rsquo;\u00e9quipe plus solides (58 %), ainsi qu&rsquo;un plus grand engagement des employ\u00e9s et une plus grande satisfaction au travail (58 %).<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Notre \u00e9tude montre clairement que la curiosit\u00e9 n&rsquo;est plus un atout \u00e0 poss\u00e9der. Au contraire, cette comp\u00e9tence est devenue un imp\u00e9ratif commercial qui aide les entreprises \u00e0 relever les d\u00e9fis critiques et \u00e0 favoriser l&rsquo;innovation\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Jay Upchurch, Directeur Informatique chez SAS.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que la plupart des managers interrog\u00e9s pensent que la curiosit\u00e9 est pr\u00e9cieuse, beaucoup d&rsquo;entre eux ont du mal \u00e0 la favoriser et \u00e0 l\u2019encourager. En fait, plus de deux managers sur cinq admettent qu&rsquo;ils ne se sentent qu&rsquo;un peu ou pas du tout \u00e9quip\u00e9s pour l\u2019identifier chez les candidats \u00e0 un poste (47%) et chez leurs collaborateurs directs (42%). Beaucoup disent qu&rsquo;il est difficile de d\u00e9velopper la curiosit\u00e9 chez les employ\u00e9s qui ne l&rsquo;ont pas naturellement (47%) et ont du mal \u00e0 la relier aux performances professionnelles (47%) et \u00e0 l&rsquo;impact sur l&rsquo;entreprise (43%). Ces r\u00e9sultats mettent en \u00e9vidence un d\u00e9calage entre les avantages per\u00e7us de la curiosit\u00e9 et le potentiel des organisations \u00e0 exploiter cette comp\u00e9tence chez les employ\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Une fa\u00e7on d&rsquo;att\u00e9nuer ces difficult\u00e9s est de se tourner vers les organisations et les managers qui ont une cote \u00e9lev\u00e9e en mati\u00e8re de curiosit\u00e9. Ces derniers encouragent souvent la curiosit\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;ensemble de l&rsquo;entreprise, notamment dans la formation et le d\u00e9veloppement de l&rsquo;entreprise (79 %), les \u00e9valuations du rendement des employ\u00e9s (76 %), les crit\u00e8res de promotion (74 %) et d&#8217;embauche (74 %), ainsi que la mission, la vision ou les valeurs de l&rsquo;entreprise (70 %).
