Derri\u00e8re cette ironie l\u00e9g\u00e8re, nous voulons partager avec vous la r\u00e9flexion suivante: pourquoi sommes-nous \u00e0 ce point focalis\u00e9s sur la transformation r\u00e9guli\u00e8re et radicale de nos habitudes de travail et de la fa\u00e7on dont nous organisons la vie collective au boulot? R\u00e9inventer l\u2019espace de travail et \u00e0 travers ce dernier, la mani\u00e8re dont les \u00e9quipes et les individus coop\u00e8rent est devenu un process continu au sein du d\u00e9partement RH voire du comit\u00e9 de direction. Pourquoi? Comment? Il est question de performance, d\u2019inspiration et d\u2019identit\u00e9, entre autres&#8230;<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>On d\u00e9centralise, on recentralise. On d\u00e9cloisonne, on recloisonne. La mani\u00e8re dont nous organisons les espaces et les modes d&rsquo;organisation de travail semble r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 un principe bien inscrit dans le bon sens commun: faire et d\u00e9faire, c\u2019est toujours s\u2019occuper. Soit. Entre-temps, cela \u2018bouge\u2019 concr\u00e8tement sur le terrain avec un impact r\u00e9el sur la vie quotidienne des travailleurs. Reste \u00e0 comprendre donc pourquoi le point s\u2019inscrit de fa\u00e7on syst\u00e9matique au sommet de l\u2019agenda.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Premi\u00e8re hypoth\u00e8se, darwinienne : s\u2019adapter ou dispara\u00eetre!<\/strong><\/em> Notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 se transforme, avec de temps \u00e0 autre un mouvement d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration semblable \u00e0 celui que nous avons connu au travers de la pand\u00e9mie. Les entreprises doivent s\u2019adapter \u00e0 ces mutations, en tentant de ne pas se laisser d\u00e9crocher et de proposer un environnement de travail qui r\u00e9pond aux nouveaux besoins des travailleurs. Il s\u2019agit de rester performant et productif! Flexibilit\u00e9 accrue, espaces de convivialit\u00e9, lieux d\u00e9di\u00e9s \u00e0 la collaboration\u2026 La gestion du cadre de travail s\u2019adapte avec les tendances et les attentes que nous croyons d\u00e9tecter dans le chef des collaborateurs et doit contribuer \u00e0 court terme \u00e0 l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des r\u00e9sultats. C\u2019est aussi dans une logique d&rsquo;optimisation que bon nombre de r\u00e9am\u00e9nagements ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en oeuvre r\u00e9cemment. Avons-nous encore besoin de tout cet espace? Est-il bien raisonnable de continuer \u00e0 occuper tous ces \u00e9tages alors que nos coll\u00e8gues sont majoritairement \u00e0 la maison? Nous repensons donc l\u2019espace de travail avec une cl\u00e9 de lecture \u00e0 dominance \u00e9conomique, qui n\u2019est certainement pas la meilleure qui soit.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Deuxi\u00e8me hypoth\u00e8se: inspirer les \u00e9quipes en renouvelant l&rsquo;environnement\u2026<\/strong><\/em> Cela semble aller \u00e0 l\u2019encontre des id\u00e9es qui ont la peau dure, \u00e0 commencer par celle qui soutient que \u2018les gens\u2019 n\u2019aiment pas le changement ! C\u2019est faux, bien \u00e9videmment. Nos entreprises, et les individus qui y travaillent, ont besoin d\u2019\u00e9voluer sans cesse. Rares sont ceux qui s\u2019opposent par principe au changement (il reste parfois deux ou trois r\u00e9fractaires cong\u00e9nitaux mais pas beaucoup plus que cela). La condition essentielle pour adh\u00e9rer est simplement qu\u2019il doit y avoir une plus value r\u00e9elle et individuelle dans ce qui est propos\u00e9. Transformer l\u2019environnement de travail correspond en quelque sorte \u00e0 ouvrir les fen\u00eatres et renouveler l\u2019air \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur des bureaux. Avec l\u2019ambition de voir souffler un vent d\u2019innovation et de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Troisi\u00e8me hypoth\u00e8se enfin : affirmer son identit\u00e9.<\/em><\/strong> Le postulat est le suivant: dis moi o\u00f9 tu travailles, je te dirai qui tu es. Autrement dit, le \u2018look &amp; feel\u2019 de nos bureaux et la fa\u00e7on dont nous organisons le travail collectif est tr\u00e8s r\u00e9v\u00e9lateur de la personnalit\u00e9 profonde voire de l&rsquo;ADN de l\u2019entreprise. En fait, l\u2019environnement de travail constitue en soi une proposition d\u2019exp\u00e9rience collective: il s\u2019agit d\u2019inviter les coll\u00e8gues \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper l\u2019envie d\u2019\u00eatre ensemble, de se retrouver, de se connecter bien s\u00fbr. Et visiblement, pour y parvenir, nombre de soci\u00e9t\u00e9s misent sur la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un cadre tr\u00e8s orient\u00e9 \u2018r\u00e9confort\u2019 afin de recr\u00e9er des sensations famili\u00e8res et familiales. Elles s\u2019engouffrent ainsi dans un nouveau paradoxe, un de plus: alors que les collaborateurs n\u2019ont jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 aussi peu pr\u00e9sents physiquement dans nos entreprises, l\u2019investissement en mati\u00e8re de confort et de qualit\u00e9 de vie au travail gagne chaque jour davantage en importance.<\/p>\n<p>Une obsession justifi\u00e9e donc? Sans doute. M\u00eame si, au-del\u00e0 des motivations, l\u2019essentiel reste ailleurs\u2026 Que reste-t-il en effet lorsque les technologies sont obsol\u00e8tes, que les modes sont pass\u00e9es et que les \u00e9quipes sont lass\u00e9es?
