Comment vont-ils, ces grands fauves solitaires? Que pensent-ils de ces \u00e9volutions multiples qui animent le march\u00e9 du travail et donc, forc\u00e9ment, les effectifs qu\u2019ils dirigent tant bien que mal? Comment font-ils face au d\u00e9fi complexe qui consiste \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre aux attentes contradictoires de leurs collaborateurs? Et surtout, qui peut l\u00e9gitimement prendre soin de ces profils forc\u00e9ment sensibles et terriblement expos\u00e9s aux sursauts de notre \u00e9conomie? Car, oui, il est possible &#8211; voire souhaitable &#8211; que les patrons aient besoin eux aussi de leur espace de bien-\u00eatre&#8230;<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Dans un monde parfait, il suffirait d\u2019appliquer un principe de r\u00e9ciprocit\u00e9. A l\u2019int\u00e9rieur d\u2019une \u00e9quipe de management ou d\u2019une entreprise, prendre soin les uns des autres est finalement assez naturel dans la mesure o\u00f9 ce collectif vit tous les jours une histoire commune. Pourtant, ce n\u2019est pas \u00e9vident de pouvoir se tourner vers son boss et de lui dire qu\u2019il est au bord du pr\u00e9cipice (axa du burn-out). Essayons donc de comprendre qui peut veiller concr\u00e8tement \u00e0 prendre soin des dirigeants<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Gouvernance et confusion<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nLa mani\u00e8re dont sont construites nos organisations offre une premi\u00e8re possibilit\u00e9 de r\u00e9ponse: dans les faits, il appartient au conseil d\u2019administration ou aux autres instances de contr\u00f4le de la bonne gouvernance de l\u2019entreprise de se pr\u00e9occuper de ses dirigeants. Ce n\u2019est pourtant pas aussi simple. Dans la r\u00e9alit\u00e9, nous observons aujourd\u2019hui que les instances tendent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement \u00e0 se substituer aux comit\u00e9s de direction, exer\u00e7ant ainsi leur mission de surveillance de fa\u00e7on bien maladroite. Nos conseils d\u2019administration manquent souvent de bienveillance, c\u00e9dant par l\u00e0 au climat g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9 de m\u00e9fiance qui semble pr\u00e9valoir actuellement. A l\u2019inverse, il reste quelques c\u00e9nacles qui cultivent la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00eatre soi-m\u00eame et de trouver du soutien quand cela s&rsquo;av\u00e8re n\u00e9cessaire. Entre les deux, nos coeurs balancent? Pas vraiment&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>La puissance des r\u00e9seaux<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nPouvoir se reposer sur la disponibilit\u00e9 et l\u2019\u00e9coute de ses \u2018pairs&rsquo; est pr\u00e9cieux. Qui peut en effet s\u2019av\u00e9rer mieux plac\u00e9 qu\u2019un autre dirigeant, externe \u00e0 l\u2019organisation par ailleurs, pour d\u00e9tecter les signes annonciateurs d\u2019un probl\u00e8me aupr\u00e8s d\u2019un dirigeant? Encore faut-il \u00eatre capable pour ce dernier de reconna\u00eetre sa propre vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 (<a href=\"https:\/\/peoplesphere.be\/fr\/editorial-entreprises-fragiles-managers-vulnerables-cest-new-normal\/\">\u00e9voqu\u00e9e la semaine derni\u00e8re ici m\u00eame dans notre dernier \u00e9ditorial consacr\u00e9 aux entreprises fragiles et aux managers vuln\u00e9rables<\/a>) et de construire des relations de confiance qui permettent de s&rsquo;exposer sans r\u00e9serve. Lorsque c\u2019est le cas, il est possible d\u2019entrer dans une double dynamique de prise en charge et d\u2019apprentissage. Double impact donc. Il y a une condition pr\u00e9alable : sortir de la logique de comp\u00e9tition qui r\u00e9git la plupart de nos relations et accepter que ce que l\u2019on vit n\u2019est ni exceptionnel ni forc\u00e9ment diff\u00e9rent de ce que nos pairs exp\u00e9rimentent. Dans tous les cas, cela exige une sacr\u00e9e dose d\u2019humilit\u00e9 pour celles et ceux dont l\u2019ego est entretenu \u00e0 longueur d\u2019ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Le sens du sacrifice<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nIl y a encore et enfin une troisi\u00e8me voie. Celle qui m\u00e8ne \u00e0 aller aussi loin que possible dans la \u2018souffrance\u2019 et \u00e0 s\u2019infliger le mal-\u00eatre jusqu\u2019au moment o\u00f9 cela devient insupportable. La posture est absolument masochiste, mais elle correspond \u00e0 un mod\u00e8le assez r\u00e9pandu de d\u00e9vouement \u00e0 la fonction de dirigeant et d\u2019oubli de soi. Il faut bien quelqu\u2019un pour porter la croix, en quelque sorte\u2026<br \/>\nDerri\u00e8re l\u2019emprunt de cette voie royale vers l\u2019impasse, il y a souvent une confiance en soi extr\u00eame, la certitude de pouvoir se relever et de repousser les limites un peu plus loin encore. Le pari est risqu\u00e9. Il est surtout inutile puisque personne n\u2019est irrempla\u00e7able. Les patrons se succ\u00e8dent, \u00e0 un rythme de plus en plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 d\u2019ailleurs, sans que les conditions de travail ne s\u2019am\u00e9liorent vraiment.<br \/>\nPouvoir s\u2019attaquer aux causes profondes afin d\u2019am\u00e9liorer le bien-\u00eatre g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, y compris celui des fonctions dirigeantes, devrait \u00eatre prioritaire. Car le bien-\u00eatre des patrons pourrait n\u2019\u00eatre au final que la somme du bien-\u00eatre de tous leurs collaborateurs\u2026 L\u2019hypoth\u00e8se peut sembler un peu simpliste.
