Corrig\u00e9 pour la dur\u00e9e de travail, l\u2019\u00e9cart salarial moyen est d\u00e9sormais de 8,0%. Sans correction pour la dur\u00e9e de travail, le salaire annuel brut moyen des femmes est 21,0% moins \u00e9lev\u00e9 que celui des hommes. Le travail \u00e0 temps partiel est l\u2019une des causes principales de l\u2019\u00e9cart salarial. Ce sont les ouvri\u00e8res du secteur priv\u00e9 qui connaissent plus grand \u00e9cart salarial : 20,5%.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Institut pour l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des femmes et des hommes pr\u00e9sente les nouveaux chiffres de l\u2019\u00e9cart salarial bas\u00e9s sur les donn\u00e9es compl\u00e8tes de 2021 de l\u2019Office national de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sociale (ONSS). En 2021, l\u2019emploi et les salaires ont augment\u00e9 par rapport \u00e0 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Michel Pasteel, directeur de l\u2019Institut pour l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des femmes et des hommes, commente : \u00ab\u00a0<em>Les chiffres \u00e9voluent dans la bonne direction. Pour de nombreux indicateurs, nous observons une diminution d\u2019un demi-point de pourcentage. Au vu de l\u2019\u00e9volution des ann\u00e9es pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes, nous pouvons qualifier cela de \u00a0\u00bbbonne ann\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb. Bien entendu, cela n\u2019enl\u00e8ve rien au fait qu\u2019il reste beaucoup de chemin \u00e0 parcourir pour atteindre l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 salariale. Adopter une politique volontariste est donc essentiel afin de combler l\u2019\u00e9cart salarial entre les femmes et les hommes\u00a0\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ce sont les ouvri\u00e8res du secteur priv\u00e9 qui connaissent plus grand \u00e9cart salarial : 20,5% (44,1% sans la correction pour la dur\u00e9e du travail). Point positif : alors que l\u2019\u00e9cart salarial pour cette cat\u00e9gorie tendait \u00e0 s\u2019accentuer ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, il repart de nouveau \u00e0 la baisse. Michel Pasteel souligne : \u00ab\u00a0<em>Les ouvri\u00e8res constituent un groupe socioprofessionnel particuli\u00e8rement vuln\u00e9rable. Pensons, entre autres, aux aides m\u00e9nag\u00e8res, aux aides de cuisine, aux ouvri\u00e8res de production\u2026. Dans ces m\u00e9tiers, on rencontre plus fr\u00e9quemment des formes de contrats pr\u00e9caires, des temps partiels et des conditions de travail p\u00e9nibles. Les salaires peu \u00e9lev\u00e9s engendrent \u00e9galement un risque accru de pr\u00e9carit\u00e9.
