L\u2019indicateur NEET (young people Neither in Employment nor in Education or Training) est l\u2019un des indicateurs des objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable (SDG, Sustainable Development Goals) concernant le travail d\u00e9cent et la croissance \u00e9conomique. Il s\u2019agit du pourcentage de jeunes \u00e2g\u00e9s de 15 \u00e0 29 ans qui ne travaillent pas et ne suivent aucun enseignement ou formation. En 2023, celui-ci atteignait 9,6% des jeunes concern\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Ce chiffre est calcul\u00e9 sur la base de l\u2019Enqu\u00eate sur les forces de travail et est estim\u00e9 \u00e0 9,6% en 2023, soit un peu plus qu\u2019en 2022 (9,2%). L\u2019objectif fix\u00e9 de maximum 8,6% de jeunes NEET n\u2019est donc pas encore atteint. Par contre, le chiffre est nettement plus faible qu’en 2000, lorsqu’il s\u2019\u00e9levait \u00e0 17,2%.<\/p>\n

Tous les \u00c9tats membres de l’UE utilisent les m\u00eames concepts et m\u00e9thodes harmonis\u00e9s pour calculer le taux de NEET. Cela nous permet de comparer la situation belge avec le taux de NEET des autres \u00c9tats membres de l\u2019UE.<\/p>\n

L\u2019indicateur NEET s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 9,8% chez les hommes et \u00e0 9,5% chez les femmes.<\/p>\n

Avec 13,0%, la Wallonie a le taux de NEET le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9. Elle est suivie par Bruxelles avec 11,2%, puis par la Flandre avec 7,3%.<\/p>\n
