Pour quelque travailleur que ce soit, ce n\u2019est pas forc\u00e9ment la grande forme tous les jours. Pour certains, c\u2019est m\u00eame rarement le bon jour\u2026 C\u2019est pourquoi il y a des individus qui errent dans nos entreprises, et qui en tout cas ne travaillent pas\u2026 On le sait et on l\u2019accepte.<br \/>\nChaque matin, il faut choisir entre le feu et l\u2019eau, entre l\u2019\u00e9nergie (\u00e7\u00e0d la flamme) et l\u2019inertie (\u00e7\u00e0d la flemme). Et de notre c\u00f4t\u00e9, nous cherchons quelles sont les cl\u00e9s de la motivation, quels sont les moyens de pr\u00e9server l\u2019engagement, qui porte la responsabilit\u00e9 de stimuler l\u2019envie aupr\u00e8s des coll\u00e8gues\u2026 Autant de questions qui peinent \u00e0 trouver des r\u00e9ponses simples, alors qu\u2019il suffit \u00e0 chacun.e de d\u00e9cider d\u2019y aller ou pas\u2026<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Lors d\u2019une session de travail tr\u00e8s r\u00e9cente en compagnie d\u2019un super groupe d\u2019environ 80 acteurs de la formation en alternance, nous avons sollicit\u00e9 les participants afin qu\u2019ils nous proposent un qualificatif pour d\u00e9crire le monde du travail aujourd\u2019hui. Alors que nous avions pr\u00e9vu de parler positivement de l\u2019hybridation en termes tr\u00e8s concrets, les mots que nous avons retenus sont les suivants : stressant, fatiguant, long\u2026 Et de ressentir le besoin de souffler d\u2019une bonne moiti\u00e9 de l\u2019auditoire, \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l\u2019enthousiasme forcen\u00e9 de l\u2019autre moiti\u00e9. Reste \u00e0 comprendre comment nous pouvons faire basculer le curseur du bon c\u00f4t\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Une \u00e9pid\u00e9mie de flemme bien install\u00e9e ?<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Nos ados et jeunes adultes ont la flemme. Ce n\u2019est ni un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de soci\u00e9t\u00e9, ni une question g\u00e9n\u00e9rationnelle. C\u2019est juste une \u00e9tape de d\u00e9veloppement personnel par laquelle nous sommes toutes et tous pass\u00e9s. La traduction de leur fatigue cong\u00e9nitale est simplement: \u2018je n\u2019ai pas envie de faire ce que tu me demandes\u2019.<br \/>\nL\u2019absence de ressources, physiques et mentales, que semble \u00e9prouver une bonne partie de la population active correspond \u00e0 autre chose. Elle transcende les niveaux hi\u00e9rarchiques et les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations. Elle se manifeste par exemple dans nos difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 contrer la mont\u00e9e de l\u2019absent\u00e9\u00efsme et \u00e0 mettre en \u0153uvre une r\u00e9elle d\u00e9marche de r\u00e9int\u00e9gration des travailleurs malades.<br \/>\nNous pensons que c\u2019est une question de sant\u00e9 publique, passant par un changement profond de notre mani\u00e8re d\u2019appr\u00e9hender l\u2019incapacit\u00e9. Car il s\u2019agit en effet d\u2019une \u2018mauvaise\u2019 fatigue, par opposition \u00e0 la sensation d\u2019\u00e9puisement, paradoxalement enivrante, que nous pouvons \u00e9prouver apr\u00e8s une bonne s\u00e9ance de sport. La gu\u00e9rison pourrait passer par le maintien au travail et l\u2019appartenance au groupe. Et une bonne partie du r\u00f4le manag\u00e9rial consiste donc \u00e0 mettre ou \u00e0 conserver celles et ceux qui nous entourent en mouvement, dans la t\u00eate comme dans les jambes.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Le faible impact de la notion d\u2019impact\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Rester en \u00e9veil et en activit\u00e9, ok\u2026 Mais pour quoi faire? A quoi bon puisque tout cela ne sert peut-\u00eatre pas \u00e0 grand-chose ? Nous pouvons avoir la sensation que nos actions ne sont pas vraiment utiles dans un environnement qui est r\u00e9gul\u00e9 par l\u2019incertitude. C\u2019est en quelque sorte comme si la question de l\u2019impact s\u2019\u00e9tait \u00e9vapor\u00e9e, y compris dans les entreprises dont la vocation initiale consiste justement \u00e0 changer le monde\u2026 L\u2019argument ne porte plus, faute de preuve tangible de la r\u00e9elle utilit\u00e9 de notre implication. Bref, on n\u2019y croit plus.<br \/>\nComment rem\u00e9dier \u00e0 cette forme de d\u00e9sengagement ? En affichant sans doute des ambitions raisonnables d\u2019une part, et en rappelant sans cesse que chaque contribution, aussi modeste soit-elle, s\u2019inscrit n\u00e9cessairement dans un ensemble plus vaste qui nous \u00e9chappe \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9vidence. Cultiver l\u2019humilit\u00e9 ne veut pas dire que l\u2019on renonce \u00e0 avoir de l\u2019impact. C\u2019est accepter de participer \u00e0 un projet plus grand que tous nos egos r\u00e9unis.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Si on parle de d\u00e9couragement, cela veut dire qu\u2019au d\u00e9part, il y avait du courage !<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Entre la flamme et la flemme, il y a donc bien plus qu\u2019une voyelle de diff\u00e9rence. Il y a un \u00e9tat d\u2019esprit sur lequel chaque personne peut travailler et sur lequel le management peut avoir une influence r\u00e9elle. Il y a une accumulation d\u2019\u00e9checs peut-\u00eatre, de d\u00e9ceptions sans doute, de probl\u00e8mes rencontr\u00e9s dans la vie quotidienne, qu\u2019elle soit personnelle ou professionnelle.<\/p>\n<p>Tout cela peut mener, de mani\u00e8re tout \u00e0 fait compr\u00e9hensible, au d\u00e9couragement et in fine, au grand sommeil. Toutefois, la flamme peut \u00eatre ranim\u00e9e, au prix d\u2019une petite \u00e9tincelle parfois\u2026 Si nous devons faire face au d\u00e9couragement, la raison nous am\u00e8ne \u00e0 penser qu\u2019il y a eu, \u00e0 un moment ou \u00e0 un autre, du courage et que celui-ci s\u2019est \u00e9teint en cours de route.<br \/>\nR\u00e9animer nos coll\u00e8gues flemmards passe par la rencontre. Il \u2018suffit\u2019 de connecter un \u00e9tat d\u2019esprit positif \u00e0 un autre, puis \u00e0 un autre, et \u00e0 un autre encore pour donner naissance \u00e0 un mouvement de groupe qui permet de voir le monde du travail autrement.<\/p>\n<p>Face \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9loge de la paresse et de l\u2019ennui qui a droit de cit\u00e9 aujourd\u2019hui, nous avons bien le droit de proposer de ranimer la flamme, \u00e7\u00e0d de promouvoir l\u2019amour (et les tourments qui l\u2019accompagnent). Car la question de l\u2019engagement, que nous consid\u00e9rons comme un choix \u00e0 priori individuel, m\u00e9rite \u00e0 coup s\u00fbr que nous la replacions dans une dynamique collective.
