Depuis la derni\u00e8re \u00e9dition de cette \u00e9tude en 2012, une \u00e9volution notable s&rsquo;est dessin\u00e9e : l&rsquo;\u00e9galit\u00e9 entre les femmes et les hommes n&rsquo;est plus per\u00e7ue uniquement comme une d\u00e9claration d&rsquo;intention. Toutefois, certains secteurs demeurent encore loin de l&rsquo;\u00e9galit\u00e9 de genre et n\u00e9cessitent des efforts soutenus pour combler ces \u00e9carts.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9tude r\u00e9v\u00e8le que l&rsquo;\u00e9galit\u00e9 entre femmes et hommes aux postes cl\u00e9s a fait des progr\u00e8s notables dans plusieurs domaines. Au moment de l\u2019analyse, la moiti\u00e9 des membres des organes d\u00e9cisionnels les plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s des syndicats sont des femmes (contre 25% en 2012), de m\u00eame qu&rsquo;un tiers des pr\u00e9sidents des organisations syndicales. Parmi les responsables des plus grandes ONG, 4 sur 10 sont des femmes. On retrouve une proportion similaire dans les grands m\u00e9dias pour les responsables de contenu, parmi les premier\u00b7\u00e8re\u00b7s pr\u00e9sident\u00b7e\u00b7s des cours d&rsquo;appel ou au sein des conseils de prud&rsquo;hommes.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, dans certaines professions, les hommes continuent d&rsquo;occuper une large majorit\u00e9 des fonctions dirigeantes. C&rsquo;est notamment le cas au sein des ordres des barreaux, o\u00f9 la proportion de femmes membres des plus hautes instances est de seulement 1 sur 6. \u00c0 la D\u00e9fense, seules deux femmes occupent des postes de hauts responsables pour 41 hommes, tandis que le Conseil national de l&rsquo;Ordre des M\u00e9decins compte une seule femme pour 16 hommes.<br \/>\nLes d\u00e9clarations d\u2019intention ne suffisent pas<\/p>\n<p>La Belgique est d\u00e9finitivement plus \u00e9galitaire en 2024 qu&rsquo;en 2012. L\u2019enseignement le plus significatif de cette \u00e9tude est que cette \u00e9volution est plus ou moins rapide selon les domaines et les organisations. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude souligne \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard l&rsquo;impact majeur des politiques volontaristes qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mises en place dans certains secteurs et des objectifs qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fix\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Les secteurs ayant fait de l&rsquo;\u00e9galit\u00e9 de genre une priorit\u00e9 et ayant mis en place des initiatives concr\u00e8tes ont r\u00e9alis\u00e9 des progr\u00e8s significatifs. C&rsquo;est le cas des syndicats, avec la &lsquo;charte gender mainstreaming&rsquo; ou encore en politique et dans les conseils d&rsquo;administration des entreprises cot\u00e9es en bourse, o\u00f9 des quotas de genre ont \u00e9t\u00e9 instaur\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>, explique Liesbet Stevens, directrice adjointe de l\u2019Institut. \u00ab\u00a0<em>Dans les secteurs o\u00f9 les femmes sont quasiment absentes des postes cl\u00e9s et o\u00f9 aucune mesure n&rsquo;est prise pour y rem\u00e9dier, l\u2019introduction de quotas doit \u00eatre envisag\u00e9e. Les quotas ne sont jamais un but en soi. Mais ils ont prouv\u00e9 leur efficacit\u00e9, comme l&rsquo;ont montr\u00e9 les quotas en politique et dans les conseils d&rsquo;administration. Cependant, un quota de 30 % ne m\u00e8ne pas forc\u00e9ment \u00e0 la parit\u00e9. Il est donc n\u00e9cessaire de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 des quotas de 40 % pour les secteurs o\u00f9 l&rsquo;on reste bloqu\u00e9 \u00e0 30 % de femmes dans les postes de d\u00e9cisions.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>En marge de l\u2019\u00e9tude, l\u2019Institut avance plusieurs recommandations afin de poursuivre sur la voie de l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 aux postes de haut niveau : mise en avant des bonnes pratiques, recours aux quotas, mesure de l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 sur une p\u00e9riode plus longue, transparence, sensibilisation\u2026 ainsi que des recommandations sp\u00e9cifiques selon les secteurs.<\/p>\n<p>Le recensement a \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9 par l\u2019asbl RoSa entre avril et mai 2024.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Source: Institut pour l&rsquo;\u00e9galit\u00e9 des femmes et des hommes<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>L&rsquo;Institut pour l&rsquo;\u00e9galit\u00e9 des femmes et des hommes pr\u00e9sente aujourd&rsquo;hui un \u00e9tat des lieux actualis\u00e9 concernant la place des femmes occupant des postes \u00e0 responsabilit\u00e9 dans divers secteurs de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9.
