Le rapport, bas\u00e9 sur une vaste enqu\u00eate r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en collaboration avec le bureau d\u2019\u00e9tudes iVOX et sur cinq sessions de dialogue ouvert organis\u00e9es par la FEB, met en lumi\u00e8re les d\u00e9fis m\u00e9connus en mati\u00e8re de genre au travail. Il en ressort notamment qu\u2019un travailleur sur quatre a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 t\u00e9moin au travail d\u2019une situation inappropri\u00e9e li\u00e9e au genre.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019enqu\u00eate r\u00e9v\u00e8le que 1 Belge sur 4 (25%) a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 confront\u00e9, au travail, \u00e0 une situation dans laquelle il a \u00e9t\u00e9 t\u00e9moin de comportements inappropri\u00e9s li\u00e9s au genre qui l\u2019ont mis mal \u00e0 l\u2019aise. Il s\u2019agissait principalement de commentaires (62%) et de regards (38%). La discrimination (26%), les attouchements inappropri\u00e9s (24%) et le harc\u00e8lement (20%) ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9voqu\u00e9s. Parmi ce quart de r\u00e9pondants, plus de 2 sur 5 (43%) d\u00e9clarent n\u2019avoir pas r\u00e9agi pour remettre l\u2019auteur \u00e0 sa place dans au moins une situation. Un quart de ces situations impliquaient une personne plus haut plac\u00e9e dans la hi\u00e9rarchie, raison pour laquelle ils n\u2019ont pas os\u00e9 lui faire de remarque.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, 1 Belge sur 7 (15%) affirme avoir d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 la cible de comportements inappropri\u00e9s li\u00e9s au genre qui l\u2019ont mis mal \u00e0 l\u2019aise. Dans les trois quarts des cas, dans au moins une situation, l\u2019auteur a \u00e9t\u00e9 inform\u00e9 par la cible du caract\u00e8re inappropri\u00e9 de son comportement, et ce la plupart du temps de vive voix. Dans 3 cas sur 5, dans au moins une situation, l\u2019auteur n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 averti du caract\u00e8re inappropri\u00e9 de son comportement.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Les situations inappropri\u00e9es li\u00e9es au genre se produisent encore fr\u00e9quemment au travail et se manifestent sous diff\u00e9rentes formes. Il s\u2019av\u00e8re \u00e9galement difficile d\u2019en parler \u00e0 chaque fois. Autre constat frappant : de nombreux t\u00e9moins pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent ne pas intervenir, souvent par peur ou par incertitude quant aux r\u00e9percussions. Cela d\u00e9montre une fois de plus que les d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s au genre restent trop souvent pass\u00e9s sous silence et pourquoi il est important de promouvoir une culture dans laquelle les collaborateurs ont conscience de leur propre attitude et discutent respectueusement face \u00e0 des comportements d\u00e9plac\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>, d\u00e9clare Elisabet Lenaerts, conseill\u00e8re adjointe dans le centre de comp\u00e9tence Emploi &amp; S\u00e9curit\u00e9 sociale de la FEB.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Expression de genre et de soi au travail<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>En outre, plus de 8 Belges sur 10 affirment oser \u00eatre pleinement eux-m\u00eames au travail. Plus ils sont \u00e2g\u00e9s, plus c\u2019est le cas. Les h\u00e9t\u00e9ros ont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement plus de facilit\u00e9s \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard. En ce qui concerne la perception de genre, on note peu de diff\u00e9rences. En revanche, on observe des disparit\u00e9s de ressentis concernant la reconnaissance ou les opportunit\u00e9s par rapport aux personnes d\u2019un autre genre : les hommes sont plus r\u00e9solus que les femmes dans leur conviction que les genres sont trait\u00e9s sur un pied d\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>1 Belge sur 5 (20%) indique tout de m\u00eame s\u2019adapter au travail afin d\u2019\u00e9viter les commentaires portant sur son (expression de) genre. Plus les r\u00e9pondants sont jeunes, plus ils sont enclins \u00e0 s\u2019adapter. Les personnes non h\u00e9t\u00e9rosexuelles ont davantage tendance \u00e0 s\u2019adapter (31% contre 18%). Elles d\u00e9clarent nettement plus souvent adapter leur tenue vestimentaire (17% contre 10%). Certaines adaptent (\u00e9galement) leur comportement afin d\u2019\u00e9viter de para\u00eetre trop excentriques (12% contre 6%) ou trop charmeuses (8% contre 4%). Les personnes transgenres sont celles qui s\u2019adaptent le plus (66% !).<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Chaque ann\u00e9e, le 8 mars, la Journ\u00e9e internationale de lutte pour les droits des femmes est plac\u00e9e sous le signe de la reconnaissance des accomplissements sociaux, \u00e9conomiques, culturels et politiques des femmes dans le monde entier. Pour la FEB, il s\u2019agit aussi d\u2019une occasion id\u00e9ale pour attirer l\u2019attention sur l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des genres en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, mais aussi dans un contexte plus large.
