Les organisations, elles aussi, se lassent de leurs collaborateurs, y compris de leurs leaders. Malgr\u00e9 tout, nous connaissons toutes et tous beaucoup d\u2019exemples concernant des coll\u00e8gues et des dirigeants qui s\u2019accrochent \u00e0 leurs postes &#8211; et aux privil\u00e8ges qu\u2019ils impliquent &#8211; comme des moules \u00e0 un rocher.<br \/>\nComment prendre conscience qu\u2019il est temps de s\u2019effacer ou de passer la main? Comment veiller \u00e0 ce qu\u2019il ne soit pas trop tard et que l\u2019on devienne un fardeau pour le groupe? Comment faire en sorte de ne pas s\u2019en convaincre trop t\u00f4t et \u00e9viter alors de quitter le navire et par cons\u00e9quent une \u00e9quipe qui compte sur nous?<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Une question d\u2019\u00e9quilibre \u00e0 trouver entre humilit\u00e9, sens de l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat collectif et confiance dans notre capacit\u00e9 de se r\u00e9inventer aussi souvent que la situation l\u2019exige.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Avant tout, une bonne perception de la fatigue organisationnelle<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>La question du timing est difficile parce que le temps est la donn\u00e9e la plus relative qui soit. Et nos perceptions sont diff\u00e9rentes m\u00eame si nous souhaiterions que chaque instant ait une valeur identique pour toutes celles et tous ceux qui nous entourent.<br \/>\nMais si nous regardons autour de nous, un constat s\u2019impose : le nombre de mois ou d\u2019ann\u00e9es n\u2019est pas le crit\u00e8re d\u00e9terminant. L\u2019usure n\u2019est pas forc\u00e9ment li\u00e9e avec le temps qui passe. C\u2019est la tension que l\u2019on fait peser sur l\u2019organisation qui nous semble \u00eatre le facteur d\u00e9clencheur.<\/p>\n<p>Ainsi, lorsque l\u2019on porte un processus de changement dans une entreprise ou lorsque l\u2019on occupe un r\u00f4le moteur au sein d\u2019un groupe, il faut pouvoir s\u2019effacer sans \u00e9tat d\u2019\u00e2me ni besoin absolu de reconnaissance. M\u00eame si les transformations qui se sont op\u00e9r\u00e9es offrent de nouvelles perspectives durables pour l\u2019entreprise, les \u00e9quipes qui sont pass\u00e9es par le changement ont souvent besoin que le\/les responsable(s) de ce changement aillent voir ailleurs. L\u2019organisation est fatigu\u00e9e\u2026 Elle a tout simplement besoin que celle ou celui qui l\u2019a violent\u00e9e disparaisse au profit d\u2019un.e autre.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Laisser une trace? Quelle pr\u00e9tention\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Une des raisons avanc\u00e9es pour justifier que l\u2019on reste en place tourne autour de la notion d\u2019h\u00e9ritage. Or, nous apprenons avec l\u2019exp\u00e9rience que les traces de notre passage dans une bo\u00eete ou dans une fonction ne sont pas concr\u00e8tes\u2026 Ce ne sont ni les r\u00e9sultats, ni les projets r\u00e9alis\u00e9s, ni m\u00eame les ressources et profits accumul\u00e9s qui restent durablement. Ce que nous conservons, ce sont les relations que nous avons tiss\u00e9es et qui nous accompagneront d\u2019ailleurs bien au-del\u00e0 de notre court passage.<\/p>\n<p>Se lib\u00e9rer de la question de l\u2019h\u00e9ritage, ce n\u2019est par ailleurs pas une d\u00e9marche nihiliste. Cela ob\u00e9it simplement \u00e0 la nature cyclique des activit\u00e9s. Ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 pour nos entreprises et nos organigrammes de toujours s\u2019adapter \u00e0 un contexte qui \u00e9volue sans cesse.<\/p>\n<p>A cet \u00e9gard, chacun.e serait bien inspir\u00e9.e d\u2019arr\u00eater de tirer \u00e0 boulets rouges sur nos pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseurs. \u00c7a ne sert \u00e0 rien et c\u2019est souvent injuste.<br \/>\nVoici donc une invitation permanente \u00e0 la modestie et \u00e0 la tranquilit\u00e9, elles qui nous permettent de quitter une entreprise et un projet les mains vides et le c\u0153ur rempli de nos histoires communes.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Des sentiments pas si contradictoires<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Quitter une organisation et un collectif provoque toujours des \u00e9motions doubles et qui nous semblent m\u00eame incompatibles. Il y a un d\u00e9chirement et une lib\u00e9ration. Une inqui\u00e9tude et un soulagement. Si nous sommes tiraill\u00e9s entre ces \u00e9motions, c\u2019est sans doute parce que nous r\u00e9alisons que le moment est important. A l\u2019\u00e9vidence, nous vivons l\u2019instant pr\u00e9cis o\u00f9 s\u2019entrechoquent une \u00e8re qui se termine et une autre qui commence. Profitons-en.<\/p>\n<p>Puisque personne n\u2019est irrempla\u00e7able et que chacun est unique, il nous reste \u00e0 embrasser un maximum de sentiments qui se compl\u00e8tent au fond. Le d\u00e9part est une opportunit\u00e9. Pour \u00e9largir nos horizons, trouver de nouvelles \u00e9nergies et laisser \u00e9merger de nouveaux talents dont il faut esp\u00e9rer, sinc\u00e8rement, qu\u2019ils seront bien meilleurs que nous ne l\u2019avons \u00e9t\u00e9.
