Elle trouve son origine dans la difficult\u00e9 d\u2019encaisser les \u2018probl\u00e8mes\u2019 humains qui s\u2019accumulent rapidement dans nos organisations. Autour de nous, il y a des gens qui ne veulent pas coop\u00e9rer, des conflits latents, des d\u00e9parts fracassants, des talents d\u00e9\u00e7us et d\u2019autres d\u00e9cevants\u2026 Ce sont des r\u00e9alit\u00e9s g\u00eanantes qui obligent les d\u00e9cideurs et les observateurs \u00e0 s\u2019interroger sur l\u2019impact r\u00e9el des initiatives RH et sur l\u2019importance des moyens d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s en la mati\u00e8re. Comment pouvons-nous les rassurer ?<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>A force de regarder sans cesse le verre \u00e0 moiti\u00e9 vide \u2013 en clair, les travailleurs qui d\u00e9crochent, les \u00e9quipes qui se d\u00e9chirent et les organisations qui se plantent -, il est vrai qu\u2019il n\u2019y a plus grand monde qui croit encore qu\u2019il est possible de donner de la joie et de l\u2019\u00e9nergie aux coll\u00e8gues. Mais faut-il pour autant laisser croire que g\u00e9rer des gens est la plupart du temps un v\u00e9ritable calvaire? La r\u00e9ponse est non. Le People Management, ce n\u2019est pas compliqu\u00e9\u2026(enfin, peut-\u00eatre un peu tout de m\u00eame)\u2026<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Beaucoup d\u2019\u00e2mes en peine, encore tiraill\u00e9es entre l\u2019\u00e9conomique et le social<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Privil\u00e9gier la rentabilit\u00e9 ou l\u2019int\u00e9gration soci\u00e9tale? Penser aux actionnaires ou aux travailleurs? Le choix entre l\u2019une des deux dimensions reste trop pr\u00e9sent dans les esprits de celles et ceux qui ont la charge des effectifs. Le principe est pourtant tellement simple: il ne faut jamais choisir entre l\u2019une et l\u2019autre.<br \/>\nLa nature du m\u00e9tier consiste justement \u00e0 (r\u00e9)concilier les deux en permanence. \u00c0 trouver l\u2019\u00e9quilibre, certes instable, entre la performance \u00e9conomique (dont financi\u00e8re, \u00e9videmment !) et l\u2019\u00e9panouissement des individus et du collectif.<br \/>\nC\u2019est justement parce qu\u2019il est instable que l\u2019on a besoin que quelqu\u2019un.e s\u2019en occupe. Il y a un travail continu \u00e0 mener qui alterne entre la p\u00e9dagogie, l\u2019accompagnement et la persuasion pour que chaque coll\u00e8gue puisse trouver son compte dans le contexte qui nous r\u00e9unit. En refusant de choisir entre les imp\u00e9ratifs \u00e9conomiques et la responsabilit\u00e9 sociale, nous ne faisons que soutenir une ambition raisonnable, celle qui consiste \u00e0 prendre une part active au bien-\u00eatre de l\u2019ensemble.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>\u2018G\u00e9rer des gens, c\u2019est vraiment ce qu\u2019il y a de plus difficile\u2026\u2019 (soupir)<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Ne devrait-on pas b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d\u2019une prime de p\u00e9nibilit\u00e9 lorsque l\u2019on exerce le m\u00e9tier de responsable RH ou de dirigeant charg\u00e9 de veiller \u00e0 la performance et au bien-\u00eatre de son \u00e9quipe?<br \/>\nNous sommes le r\u00e9ceptacle de toute la souffrance ressentie par chaque collaborateur \u00e0 son niveau. Nous sommes aussi les spectateurs attentifs des rumeurs sans fondement et bruits de couloir qui alimentent les conversations quotidiennes. Nous sommes enfin la cible de celles et ceux qui restent convaincus que g\u00e9rer l\u2019humain, c\u2019est essentiellement une question de manipulation des travailleurs au profit du grand capital\u2026 Et puis quoi encore?<\/p>\n<p>Pourtant, malgr\u00e9 ces quelques inconv\u00e9nients \u2018mineurs\u2019, il n\u2019y a rien de bien compliqu\u00e9 d\u00e8s qu\u2019il s\u2019agit de People Management. La gestion RH, ce n\u2019est ni une discipline obscure, ni un terrain de jeu o\u00f9 r\u00e8gne l\u2019improvisation. Il s\u2019agit aujourd\u2019hui de comprendre les m\u00e9canismes qui d\u00e9terminent les attentes et les r\u00e9actions de chaque individu et de d\u00e9finir puis d\u2019appliquer les r\u00e8gles que le collectif souhaite mettre en \u0153uvre. Bon sens, coh\u00e9rence et disponibilit\u00e9 (avec aussi un peu de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 lorsqu\u2019il faut sortir d\u2019une impasse) suffisent \u00e0 assurer l\u2019essentiel. Ce qui veut dire que la discipline est accessible \u00e0 n&rsquo;importe qui?<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Le sens aigu du partage, et rien d\u2019autre !<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Pour qu\u2019une organisation \u00e9volue de fa\u00e7on harmonieuse, il est absolument n\u00e9cessaire de vulgariser les pratiques RH, et d\u00e9passer ainsi la crainte &#8211; trop souvent pr\u00e9sente \u2013 de scier la branche sur laquelle on est assis en d\u00e9voilant les secrets qui font cette expertise pr\u00e9cieuse. C\u2019est l\u2019opacit\u00e9 qui provoque la suspicion d\u2019inutilit\u00e9 voire la m\u00e9fiance. Pas la transparence. Il n\u2019y a pas de chasse gard\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019avenir est dans tous les cas radieux pour les People Managers. Nos entreprises font appel \u00e0 des experts en la mati\u00e8re parce que ceux-ci d\u00e9codent l\u2019humain mieux que quiconque. Parce qu\u2019ils ne se trompent jamais (ou rarement\u2026) et parce qu\u2019ils osent aller l\u00e0 o\u00f9 les autres pensent que c\u2019est impossible ou dangereux.<\/p>\n<p>Comment y parvenir? En cultivant la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 rentrer en connexion avec chacun.e et en s\u2019engageant personnellement vis-\u00e0-vis de celles et ceux qui nous font part de leurs difficult\u00e9s. Cette double aptitude passe par le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019un sens aigu du partage et la conviction profonde que chaque travailleur m\u00e9rite toute notre attention et tous nos efforts.
