Dans le m\u00eame temps, la fronti\u00e8re entre ces deux fonctions s\u2019estompe&#8230;<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Cette \u00e9volution est d\u00e9j\u00e0 palpable, notamment dans les PME et les start-ups\u00a0\u00bb,<\/em> observe Jan Vandenbussche, Regional Director chez Robert Half. \u200b<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019heure actuelle, ils sont devenus des visionnaires qui pilotent des projets de transformation num\u00e9rique, int\u00e8grent l\u2019intelligence artificielle, \u00e9valuent les risques et prennent des d\u00e9cisions technologiques \u00e0 port\u00e9e \u00e9thique. Leur r\u00f4le dans les conseils d\u2019administration s\u2019en trouve consid\u00e9rablement renforc\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0La ma\u00eetrise technologique devient incontournable au sein de la C-Suite pour rester comp\u00e9titif au plus haut niveau\u00a0\u00bb,<\/em> affirme Jan Vandenbussche. <em>\u00ab\u00a0Avec l\u2019\u00e9mergence rapide de nouvelles technologies, il est essentiel pour les CIO et CTO de combiner comp\u00e9tences techniques, vision strat\u00e9gique et qualit\u00e9s de leadership. Or, cette combinaison est de plus en plus rare. Plus de la moiti\u00e9 (58\u202f%) des dirigeants europ\u00e9ens se disent pr\u00e9occup\u00e9s par la difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 trouver les leaders num\u00e9riques suffisamment qualifi\u00e9s au cours de la prochaine d\u00e9cennie.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Une fonction hybride comme piste de solution\u2009?<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Une solution possible \u00e0 ce d\u00e9fi\u2009? Cr\u00e9er un poste hybride, combinant le r\u00f4le du CIO (centr\u00e9 sur les syst\u00e8mes internes) et celui du CTO (ax\u00e9 sur l\u2019innovation technologique).<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Cette fusion s\u2019observe d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans les petites structures ou dans les entreprises \u00e0 forte croissance, comme les start-ups. Faute de budget ou par manque de maturit\u00e9 organisationnelle, il n\u2019est pas toujours possible d\u2019avoir deux postes distincts. La fonction hybride s\u2019impose alors comme une solution pragmatique\u00a0\u00bb,<\/em> explique Jan Vandenbussche. <em>\u00ab\u00a0Pour les grandes entreprises, il peut en revanche \u00eatre judicieux de cr\u00e9er un poste de Chief Technology Transformation Officer (CTRO), charg\u00e9 d\u2019apporter une vision strat\u00e9gique \u00e0 la direction.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>En effet, le CTRO a pour mission d\u2019identifier de nouvelles opportunit\u00e9s, de concevoir et de mettre en \u0153uvre des strat\u00e9gies, et de faciliter l\u2019adoption fluide des technologies \u00e9mergentes. Ce profil s\u00e9duit \u00e9galement les autres membres de la C-Suite\u202f: trois quarts d\u2019entre eux estiment qu\u2019il s\u2019agira de l\u2019un des r\u00f4les cl\u00e9s dans les conseils d\u2019administration \u00e0 l\u2019horizon\u202f2035.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>D\u00e9velopper les talents en interne<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>La recherche de leaders num\u00e9riques comp\u00e9tents deviendra l\u2019un des d\u00e9fis strat\u00e9giques majeurs des ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir. Dans un march\u00e9 du travail tendu, recruter un CIO, CTO ou CTRO alliant expertise technique, leadership et vision d\u2019avenir n\u2019est pas de tout repos. Ces profils doivent aussi \u00eatre familiers avec des technologies avanc\u00e9es telles que l\u2019informatique quantique, l\u2019intelligence artificielle agentique ou encore la blockchain \u2013 tout en \u00e9tant capables d\u2019en faire un usage \u00e9thique. Cela implique, par exemple, une gestion transparente des donn\u00e9es et une vigilance active face aux biais dans les syst\u00e8mes d\u2019IA.<\/p>\n<p>Dans ce contexte, le recrutement externe ne suffira plus. Les entreprises doivent investir dans le d\u00e9veloppement interne des talents \u00e0 travers la formation continue, le mentorat et des parcours d\u2019\u00e9volution structur\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Le\u2009\u00a0\u00bbLifelong learning\u00a0\u00bb deviendra la solution par d\u00e9faut pour la formation des leaders technologiques du futur\u00a0\u00bb,<\/em> conclut Jan Vandenbussche.<em> \u00ab\u00a0Les entreprises qui investissent aujourd\u2019hui dans leurs talents construisent les CIO, CTO et CTRO de demain \u2013 et renforcent d\u00e8s \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent leur avantage concurrentiel dans un monde num\u00e9rique.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Le profil du CIO\/CTO de l\u2019avenir \u200b<\/em><\/strong>\u200b<\/h3>\n<p>\u200b\u200bLe leader num\u00e9rique performant en 2035 incarnera une synth\u00e8se entre expertise technologique de pointe, vision strat\u00e9gique, sens \u00e9thique et leadership affirm\u00e9. Ce profil, dessin\u00e9 par l\u2019\u00e9tude \u00ab\u00a0Towards the C-Suite 2035\u00a0\u00bb de Robert Half, est confirm\u00e9 par une r\u00e9cente recherche men\u00e9e avec des \u00e9tudiants de la KU Leuven.
