Dans ce mode fant\u00f4me, les travailleurs sont mentalement absents : ils accomplissent leurs t\u00e2ches en pilote automatique ou donnent l&rsquo;impression de travailler, alors que leur attention est en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 ailleurs.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Que ce mode fant\u00f4me ne soit pas un terme creux appara\u00eet clairement dans les chiffres. Ainsi, pas moins de 29 % des r\u00e9pondants reconnaissent avoir parfois \u00e9t\u00e9 connect\u00e9s mais mentalement \u00e0 peine pr\u00e9sents. C&rsquo;est ce qui ressort d&rsquo;une \u00e9tude men\u00e9e par le Top Employers Institute aupr\u00e8s de plus de 1 000 travailleurs belges employ\u00e9s dans des organisations de 250 ETP+.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, un quart des travailleurs (24 %) admettent faire semblant de travailler, alors qu\u2019en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 ils font d\u00e9filer les r\u00e9seaux sociaux ou font du shopping en ligne. Un groupe un peu plus large, 28 %, d\u00e9clare parfois parcourir des e-mails et des documents de travail sans vraiment en assimiler le contenu. Mais le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne va plus loin que la simple absence d\u2019attention. Pr\u00e8s d\u2019un travailleur sur cinq (18 %) utilise des outils d\u2019IA pour g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des r\u00e9ponses automatiques, uniquement pour \u00e9viter de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir. Ce sont surtout les jeunes de moins de 35 ans (28 %) qui sont les plus souvent coupables de cette pratique.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Le mode fant\u00f4me n\u2019est pas du quiet quitting<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Toutefois, l\u2019absence mentale des employ\u00e9s n\u2019est pas toujours volontaire ou intentionnelle, contrairement au \u00ab\u00a0quiet quitting\u00a0\u00bb. Dans ce dernier cas, on fait exactement ce que l\u2019employeur attend : ni plus, ni moins. On prend ainsi une distance mentale consciente vis-\u00e0-vis du travail, sans pour autant d\u00e9missionner formellement. Le mode fant\u00f4me, au contraire, est inconscient. Le travail est bien ex\u00e9cut\u00e9, mais en pilote automatique, sans v\u00e9ritable engagement mental.<\/p>\n<p>David Plink, CEO du Top Employers Institute : <em>\u00ab\u00a0Les collaborateurs ne tombent pas en mode fant\u00f4me simplement par paresse. C\u2019est souvent un signal qu\u2019autre chose se joue, et il faut le prendre au s\u00e9rieux. \u00c0 une \u00e9poque de travail hybride et de p\u00e9nurie sur le march\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi, il est judicieux d\u2019aller au-del\u00e0 du simple recrutement de talents. Les employeurs ont tout int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 continuer d\u2019investir dans un travail qui inspire, qui d\u00e9fie et qui laisse de la place \u00e0 l\u2019initiative personnelle.
