A cette occasion, la Ligue Braille et Info-Sourds de Bruxelles publient une carte blanche, cosign\u00e9e par dix autres associations actives dans l\u2019accompagnement professionnel des personnes en situation de handicap*. Il est temps de rendre le marche du travail plus inclusif et d\u2019inciter les entreprises \u00e0 oser la diversit\u00e9 !<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>En Belgique, 41% personnes en situation de handicap ont un emploi. La situation est plus pr\u00e9occupante pour les personnes aveugles et malvoyantes, puisque 75% de celles qui sont en \u00e2ge de travailler sont au ch\u00f4mage.<\/p>\n<p>Beaucoup veulent travailler, se forment, \u00e9tudient, postulent. Mais en vain. Pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s, discrimination et pi\u00e8ges \u00e0 l\u2019emploi les cantonnent encore trop souvent \u00e0 la maison. Pour beaucoup, le march\u00e9 du travail reste inaccessible. Or, il faut parfois peu de choses : quelques am\u00e9nagements, du mat\u00e9riel, un peu de flexibilit\u00e9. Chaque jour, la Ligue Braille, Info-Sourds de Bruxelles et d\u2019autres associations accompagnent des travailleurs en situation de handicap et leurs employeurs vers plus d\u2019inclusion.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0C\u2019est notre expertise, notre savoir-faire et nous avons besoin d\u2019aide. Alors que les diff\u00e9rents gouvernements r\u00e9duisent les aides \u00e0 l\u2019emploi et que le F\u00e9d\u00e9ral vise un taux d\u2019emploi national de 80% d\u2019ici 2029, nous nous demandons combien de temps ces talents qui veulent travailler vont-ils encore devoir attendre?\u00a0\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Rappelons \u00e9galement que les pathologies ophtalmiques et auditives sont souvent li\u00e9es a l\u2019\u00e2ge. Vu le recul de l\u2019\u00e2ge l\u00e9gal de la pension, de plus en plus de travailleurs se retrouveront dans l\u2019obligation de se r\u00e9orienter, de travailler autrement ou de vivre d\u2019aides sociales de plus en plus incertaines.<\/p>\n<p>En 2024, le Service Emploi de la Ligue Braille a g\u00e9re 385 dossiers: 152 demandes de recherche d\u2019emploi, 132 de maintien \u00e0 l\u2019emploi et 101 en orientation\/encadrement p\u00e9dagogique. 111 adaptations du poste de travail ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es.
