Elle offre un aper\u00e7u des r\u00e9alit\u00e9s v\u00e9cues par ces personnes dans notre pays. Avec 975 participant\u00b7e\u00b7x\u00b7s, il s\u2019agit de l\u2019\u00e9chantillon le plus large jamais consult\u00e9 pour cette \u00e9tude.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Pour la premi\u00e8re fois, 38,8% des r\u00e9pondant\u00b7e\u00b7x\u00b7s s\u2019identifient comme non binaires, ce qui en fait la principale sous\u2010cat\u00e9gorie de l\u2019enqu\u00eate. Un chapitre du rapport est sp\u00e9cifiquement consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 leurs exp\u00e9riences et \u00e0 leurs besoins.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude met en \u00e9vidence plusieurs tendances fortes. Le coming out intervient plus t\u00f4t qu\u2019auparavant, mais les personnes transgenres et non binaires continuent de se sentir insuffisamment en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans des environnements tels que l\u2019\u00e9cole ou le travail. Les questions li\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019enregistrement du genre suscitent \u00e9galement une \u00e9volution notable : si l\u2019obligation n\u2019existait pas, une majorit\u00e9 des r\u00e9pondant\u00b7e\u00b7x\u00b7s ne souhaiteraient pas enregistrer leur genre, une pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence particuli\u00e8rement marqu\u00e9e parmi les personnes non binaires. En 2024, 748 personnes ont introduit une demande d\u2019adaptation de la mention officielle du sexe aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019\u00c9tat civil.<\/p>\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats montrent par ailleurs un niveau de discrimination pr\u00e9occupant. Plus de huit personnes sur dix d\u00e9clarent avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 victimes de discrimination au cours des deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, notamment en ligne, dans le domaine des soins de sant\u00e9 et lors de la recherche d\u2019emploi. Le score moyen de bien-\u00eatre des personnes interrog\u00e9es est plut\u00f4t faible : 55% s\u2019estiment en bonne\/tr\u00e8s bonne sant\u00e9, contre 77% pour la population g\u00e9n\u00e9rale.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019acc\u00e8s aux soins transsp\u00e9cifiques demeure entrav\u00e9 par des obstacles importants, tels que les d\u00e9lais d\u2019attente, les co\u00fbts et la crainte de r\u00e9actions n\u00e9gatives.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9tude a \u00e9galement examin\u00e9 les facteurs qui ont une influence positive sur le bien-\u00eatre personnel et l&rsquo;acceptation sociale des personnes transgenres. Les initiatives en faveur de la diversit\u00e9 sur le lieu de travail, la visibilit\u00e9 et la participation, ainsi que le soutien de personnalit\u00e9s publiques se sont av\u00e9r\u00e9s importants \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard.<\/p>\n<p>Michel Pasteel, directeur de l\u2019Institut pour l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des femmes et des hommes, souligne : \u00ab\u00a0<em>Cette \u00e9tude met en lumi\u00e8re des r\u00e9alit\u00e9s pr\u00e9occupantes : la discrimination demeure omnipr\u00e9sente et le bien-\u00eatre des personnes transgenres et non binaires reste nettement inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui de la population g\u00e9n\u00e9rale.
