C\u2019est le cas ici encore. Le marasme de la r\u00e9gion Bruxelles Capitale est riche d\u2019enseignements pour chacun.e d\u2019entre nous et pour le monde du travail. Si nous regardons en arri\u00e8re, sur les dix derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es par exemple, qu\u2019avons-nous perdu dans notre quotidien pour atteindre le niveau de d\u00e9prime qui plombe souvent l\u2019ambiance g\u00e9n\u00e9rale? Tant sur le plan individuel que sur le plan collectif, que nous manque-t-il aujourd\u2019hui pour retrouver &#8211; ou conserver dans certains cas &#8211; une dynamique positive qui g\u00e9n\u00e8re un peu d\u2019enthousiasme ?<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Toutes les transformations en cours dans nos entreprises insistent sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir et de d\u00e9velopper les soft skills. Celles qui nous permettent d\u2019interagir et de partager. Et l\u2019une d\u2019entre elles est s\u00e9rieusement menac\u00e9e par la pens\u00e9e dominante qui vise \u00e0 affirmer des pouvoirs forts et \u00e0 pr\u00e9tendre que toute pens\u00e9e diff\u00e9rente est par principe un mensonge. De quelle comp\u00e9tence s\u2019agit-il?<br \/>\nDe notre aptitude \u00e0 faire des compromis et \u00e0 passer des accords qui d\u00e9passent chacun de nos int\u00e9r\u00eats particuliers. Ne serait-il pas temps de la replacer au sommet de la liste des qualit\u00e9s attendues pour l\u2019ensemble de nos collaborateurs?<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Leadership et passage en force : efficace et frustrant<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Nous assistons \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9mergence des pouvoirs forts et \u00e0 l\u2019affirmation ressuscit\u00e9e des m\u00e2les alpha et de quelques amazones hyperdominantes, revigor\u00e9s par la nonchalance des autres\u2026 Ce type de leadership offre bien quelques avantages: rythme et puissance, avant tout. Et contrairement \u00e0 ce que l\u2019on pr\u00e9tend parfois, le pouvoir fort est fond\u00e9 sur une vraie logique, et non sur des \u00e9motions brutales. Il se construit sur des raisonnements simples, assez binaires.<br \/>\nQuant aux inconv\u00e9nients ? Les effets destructeurs sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme secondaires et la frustration de celles et ceux qui ne sont pas convaincus (euph\u00e9misme) va t\u00f4t ou tard se muer en opposition f\u00e9roce. Un leadership dop\u00e9 \u00e0 la testost\u00e9rone donne lui-m\u00eame naissance \u00e0 des r\u00e9actions virulentes. Tout cela manque terriblement de nuances\u2026 Les compromis deviennent des r\u00eaves inaccessibles. Et pendant ce temps, la masse silencieuse (et majoritaire) assiste \u00e0 un spectacle \u00e9puisant. Bref, l\u2019approche manque clairement de durabilit\u00e9, ce dont elle se soucie peu d\u2019ailleurs.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>La concertation sociale est en phase terminale.<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Principale illustration de notre d\u00e9clin dans l\u2019art du compromis se trouve certainement sur le terrain de la n\u00e9gociation entre partenaires sociaux. Les accords entre patronat et syndicats sont rares, voire sur un nombre de sujets en nette augmentation carr\u00e9ment impossibles. L\u2019absence d\u2019accord interprofessionnel devient la norme. Les parties renvoient la patata chaude vers le gouvernement qui ne fait que des m\u00e9contents. Chacune porte ses propres revendications, argumente, n\u00e9gocie\u2026 Mais il n\u2019y a pas d\u2019atterrissage. Le constat est affligeant et s\u2019installe petit \u00e0 petit au niveau local \u00e9galement, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 des personnes anim\u00e9es par le bon sens terrien arrivaient encore \u00e0 conclure des deals profitant au plus grand nombre. Bref, la concertation sociale est en train de mourir.<br \/>\nTout cela se d\u00e9roule dans une sorte de mollesse, proche de l\u2019indiff\u00e9rence g\u00e9n\u00e9rale. Pourquoi ?<br \/>\nLe mot d\u2019ordre g\u00e9n\u00e9ral est simple : \u2018agree to disagree\u2019. Vivre avec le d\u00e9saccord. Paradoxal. Instable. Fatigant aussi.<br \/>\nConsid\u00e9rer que nous continuons \u00e0 travailler et que nous avan\u00e7ons sans compromis entre celles et ceux qui fixent le cadre, cela revient \u00e0 accepter de vivre avec la charge mentale du d\u00e9saccord. Cela veut dire que cela peut s\u2019arr\u00eater \u00e0 chaque instant. Une absence totale de certitude et de perspective.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Un compromis, c\u2019est une victoire et un soulagement bienvenu<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Il serait utile de modifier notre perception de ce qu\u2019est le compromis, au fond. Dans la plupart de cas, nous y voyons des concessions douloureuses et une forme plus ou moins consentie de renoncement. Pas tr\u00e8s glorieux, en effet. Pourtant, le compromis n\u2019est pas un signal de faiblesse mais bien au contraire, un acte courageux et d\u00e9cisif qui vise \u00e0 r\u00e9duire la charge mentale de celles et ceux qui nous entourent en leur offrant un cadre rassurant et une atmosph\u00e8re apais\u00e9e. Il y a beaucoup de valeur dans la volont\u00e9 de se rapprocher et d\u2019affirmer l\u2019alignement des priorit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Pouvons-nous donc retrouver l\u2019excellence que le monde entier nous a reconnu dans notre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser des accords mutuels? Ce n\u2019est pas de la nostalgie, mais plut\u00f4t un retour aux sources du bon sens et \u00e0 des qualit\u00e9s intrins\u00e8ques indispensables pour travailler ensemble. Car s\u2019il devait en effet y avoir une formule magique pour d\u00e9finir la recette du compromis : 50% d\u2019\u00e9coute, 25% de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 et 25% de loyaut\u00e9.
