OK pour reconna\u00eetre que ce n\u2019est ni terriblement sexy, ni franchement emballant pour mobiliser les troupes. Et pourtant, il y a de la beaut\u00e9 dans ce mot, qui illustre la recherche d\u2019une routine individuelle et\/ou la qu\u00eate d\u2019une d\u00e9marche collective sans faille. Serait-il possible de replacer la discipline au centre de nos r\u00e8gles de vie commune (au travail et ailleurs) sans pour autant passer pour des tortionnaires soucieux de prot\u00e9ger leur autorit\u00e9?<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Que voulons-nous? Il n\u2019y a bien s\u00fbr pas de r\u00e9ponse unique \u00e0 cette question fondamentale. Il y a celles et ceux qui sont guid\u00e9s par l\u2019atteinte des r\u00e9sultats. D\u2019autres pour lesquel.le.s l\u2019empathie est prioritaire. Et certain.e.s encore qui estiment que le travail n\u2019est en aucun autoris\u00e9 \u00e0 envahir nos vies quotidiennes\u2026 Comment les r\u00e9unir sans passer par une d\u00e9finition partag\u00e9e et une approche positive de la discipline? Comment se mettre en position d\u2019affirmer sans crainte que d\u00e9cid\u00e9ment, rien ne peut nous arr\u00eater ?<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Respect des r\u00e8gles dans la dur\u00e9e<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Dans les fondations d\u2019un projet d\u2019entreprise, il faut des convictions fortes et inspirantes, une \u00e9nergie a priori in\u00e9puisable et aussi un r\u00e9f\u00e9rentiel partag\u00e9, un cadre sur lequel on se met d\u2019accord. Cela prend la forme d\u2019un syst\u00e8me de valeurs, d\u2019une charte de comportements et d\u2019un r\u00e8glement de travail (g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement accouch\u00e9 dans la douleur). Nous oublions souvent qu\u2019il est n\u00e9cessaire de renouveler ces accords r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement, pour la bonne et simple raison que le monde et les gens changent tout autour de nous. Les r\u00e8gles sont faites pour \u00eatre respect\u00e9es et\u2026 d\u00e9pass\u00e9es d\u00e8s lors qu\u2019elles deviennent idiotes.<\/p>\n<p>Dans la pratique, la discipline se cultive surtout dans notre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 g\u00e9rer les d\u00e9viances. C\u2019est lorsqu\u2019un coll\u00e8gue d\u00e9passe les bornes ou d\u00e9cide de vivre en dehors du cadre que le management peut renforcer ou fissurer l\u2019\u00e9difice. Des postures de d\u00e9fi \u00e0 affronter, des exceptions \u00e0 faire lorsque cela s\u2019impose et des adaptations \u00e0 faire pour rester pertinent \u00e0 chaque instant. De cette fa\u00e7on, nos attentes en mati\u00e8re de discipline deviennent intelligentes et intelligibles.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Efforts et r\u00e9compense<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Sur le plan individuel, la question se r\u00e9sume au fond \u00e0 trouver le moyen de prendre du plaisir en s\u2019astreignant \u00e0 une cadence et une intensit\u00e9 qui nous permettent de jouer un r\u00f4le au bon endroit et au bon moment. Simple.<br \/>\nLa responsabilit\u00e9 manag\u00e9riale consiste \u00e0 veiller \u00e0 ce que le travail et les efforts soient r\u00e9compens\u00e9s. C\u2019est une condition pour que chacun.e reste intimement convaincu que l\u2019investissement personnel en vaut la peine. Sans cela, pourquoi faudrait-il se mobiliser matin, midi et soir afin de r\u00e9pondre aux exigences du monde brutal qui nous entoure?<br \/>\nQuel est l\u2019\u00e9tat des troupes aujourd\u2019hui ? Sommes-nous nombreux \u00e0 croire que la discipline et une \u00e9thique de travail bien ancr\u00e9e sont des valeurs-refuges ? Oui. Plus nombreux qu\u2019hier, moins nombreux que demain.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Plus que de l\u2019alignement, on veut de la solidarit\u00e9<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Cadre de travail, efforts, reconnaissance\u2026 Et intervient logiquement la dimension d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 \u00e0 laquelle nombre d\u2019entre nous restent tr\u00e8s sensibles. Chacun.e est libre de poser son propre choix quant \u00e0 l\u2019approche qui lui convient dans la d\u00e9finition de sa routine. Parfois, les d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibres dans la r\u00e9partition de la charge de travail et la disparit\u00e9 des attitudes deviennent insupportables.<br \/>\nLe monde du travail id\u00e9al que nous souhaitons construire et promouvoir requiert une attention particuli\u00e8re \u00e0 la justice en la mati\u00e8re, ce qui se traduit par la coh\u00e9rence et l\u2019alignement \u00e0 tous les niveaux.
