Et d\u2019entendre r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement que cela se justifie parce que les autres comp\u00e9tences, dites \u2018techniques\u2019 ou clairement li\u00e9es au savoir-faire, sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme \u00e9tant faciles \u00e0 acqu\u00e9rir. Regardons la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 en face : dans bien des cas, le focus sur les \u2018soft skills\u2019 est une forme de renoncement vis-\u00e0-vis de la connaissance r\u00e9elle et du parcours d\u2019apprentissage des travailleurs.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9valuation des comp\u00e9tences soft telles que la collaboration, la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 ou la communication, est bas\u00e9e sur du d\u00e9claratif et quelques tests faciles \u00e0 contourner. Recruter sur les \u2018soft skills\u2019 reste un pari Un saut dans l\u2019inconnu. Car nous n\u2019avons pas (encore) d\u2019outil nous permettant de pr\u00e9dire quelle sera la r\u00e9action \u2018chimique\u2019 entre des travailleurs qui n\u2019ont pas demand\u00e9 d\u2019\u00eatre ensemble.<\/p>\n<h3><em><strong>Apprentissage du rapport positif \u00e0 l\u2019autre : le parcours d\u2019une vie<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<p>La formule g\u00e9n\u00e9rique qui consiste \u00e0 promouvoir l\u2019apprentissage tout au long de la vie n\u2019aura jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 aussi pertinente Les soft skills repr\u00e9sentent un territoire \u00e0 explorer en permanence. Celles-ci \u00e9voluent au fil des \u00e9poques que nous traversons. Elles se transforment avec les cultures locales. En cela, le d\u00e9veloppement de ces comp\u00e9tences est un chantier qui ne se cl\u00f4ture jamais.<\/p>\n<p>Il s\u2019agit de r\u00e9ussir \u00e0 s\u2019inscrire dans un collectif, \u00e0 y prendre une part active et \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper un rapport sain et \u2018efficace\u2019 avec celles et ceux qui nous entourent. Les variables sont tellement nombreuses. Les configurations sont multiples. Nous ne sommes, dans les faits, jamais totalement pr\u00e9par\u00e9s \u00e0 la fa\u00e7on dont nous allons vivre et travailler ensemble. Comment projeter d\u00e8s lors le savoir-\u00eatre d\u2019un futur collaborateur au-travers de deux ou trois entretiens de recrutement? C\u2019est un d\u00e9fi ou plus souvent encore, une pure illusion\u2026<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Tout se passe dans les interfaces\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Le niveau suivant de difficult\u00e9 dans l\u2019\u00e9valuation de ces foutues soft skills concerne la dimension collective. Les outils RH ne manquent pas. Descriptifs de fonction, objectifs individuels, formulaires d\u2019\u00e9valuation, plans de carri\u00e8re\u2026 et bien d\u2019autres encore ! Mais aucun de ces outils, dans ce que nous avons pu observer sur le terrain, ne mod\u00e9lise les interfaces, \u00e7\u00e0d les interactions n\u00e9cessaires entre coll\u00e8gues et entre les d\u00e9partements. Or, c\u2019est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment \u00e0 ces endroits et ces moments qu\u2019interviennent les comp\u00e9tences relationnelles qui nous pr\u00e9occupent aujourd\u2019hui.<\/p>\n<p>Les soft skills sont mobilis\u00e9es lorsque nous sommes appel\u00e9s \u00e0 interagir et rares sont les fonctions et missions pour lesquelles nous parvenons \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer toutes ces occurrences. Comment allons-nous r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 l\u2019absence de reconnaissance ? Comment faire face \u00e0 la provocation ? Comment rester humble lorsque nous avons l\u2019impression que nous venons de r\u00e9gner en ma\u00eetre absolu sur la r\u00e9union qui vient de se terminer? Nous n\u2019en savons rien\u2026 Et pourtant, notre relation de travail est en jeu. C\u2019est dans ces moments d\u00e9cisifs que \u00e7a passe ou \u00e7a casse.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Et malgr\u00e9 tout, l\u2019enseignement n\u2019int\u00e8gre pas les soft skills dans ses programmes.<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Le myst\u00e8re principal r\u00e9side dans la relative absence de ces comp\u00e9tences dans nos \u00e9coles, nos coll\u00e8ges et nos ath\u00e9n\u00e9es\u2026 Elles figurent en creux dans les cursus de l\u2019enseignement fondamental dont on peut se demander pourquoi il ne s\u2019empare pas goul\u00fbment de la question.<br \/>\nIl y a bien s\u00fbr quelques exceptions. Des \u00e9tablissements isol\u00e9s proposant d\u2019autres approches p\u00e9dagogiques se concentrent sur la collaboration et la r\u00e9ussite collective. Ils sont peu nombreux.<br \/>\nPeut-\u00eatre notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 estime-t-elle qu\u2019il appartient aux parents de transmettre ces comp\u00e9tences molles \u00e0 leurs enfants\u2026 On peut r\u00eaver.<\/p>\n<p>Les soft skills s\u2019acqui\u00e8rent essentiellement par la pratique et le d\u00e9veloppement personnel, et dans tous les cas, sur le temps long. Chaque jour, nous apprenons \u00e0 composer avec de nouveaux collaborateurs, partenaires, clients,\u2026 C\u2019est de cette mani\u00e8re que nous enrichissons notre portefeuille de comp\u00e9tences.<br \/>\nAussi, recruter sur les soft skills pourrait n\u2019\u00eatre qu\u2019un v\u0153u pieux, voire un r\u00e9el aveu d\u2019impuissance. Reste \u00e0 faire confiance \u00e0 son intuition ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 nos pairs, ce qui reste sans doute la meilleure option pour r\u00e9duire le risque d\u2019erreur de casting.
