Au sein des \u00e9quipes, entre les travailleurs, les foss\u00e9s se creusent sous l\u2019effet d\u2019un constat r\u00e9current : ce n\u2019est d\u00e9cid\u00e9ment pas la m\u00eame \u00e9nergie\u2026<br \/>\nDe quoi s\u2019agit-il? De la disparition d\u00e9finitive d\u2019un r\u00e9f\u00e9rentiel commun, d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 fragment\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de laquelle nous ne trouvons plus de raison de nous r\u00e9unir en fonction de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00e0 laquelle on appartient? Comment s\u2019affranchir de la question de l\u2019\u00e2ge, \u00e0 priori absurde, dans nos entreprises ? Il doit bien y avoir quelque chose qui peut aider les boomers \u00e0 l\u2019aube de la retraite et les chatons de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z \u00e0 se rencontrer enfin\u2026 Oui, mais quoi?<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Des efforts r\u00e9compens\u00e9s lorsque nous d\u00e9passons les difficult\u00e9s de compr\u00e9hension mutuelle<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Ne pas se comprendre, ce n\u2019est pas dramatique. Ne pas faire l\u2019effort d\u2019aller chercher les cl\u00e9s de la compr\u00e9hension, l\u00e0 par contre, c\u2019est limite impardonnable\u2026 Comme dans la plupart des obstacles que nous rencontrons en mati\u00e8re de People Management, le volet Communication occupe une place pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rante. Nos cl\u00e9s de lecture sont diff\u00e9rentes \u2013 voire divergentes \u2013 en fonction des \u00e9tapes de notre vie (et des pr\u00e9occupations qui les d\u00e9terminent). Nous pourrions croire que les objectifs et le cadre de travail qui r\u00e9unit les grands anciens et les petits nouveaux suffit \u00e0 cr\u00e9er un langage commun. C\u2019est rarement le cas.<\/p>\n<p>La communaut\u00e9 d\u2019esprit appara\u00eet lorsque nous d\u00e9cidons de faire l\u2019effort d\u2019adopter les r\u00e9f\u00e9rences de celle ou celui qui est si diff\u00e9rent.e de nous. Cela semble simple mais les obstacles sont nombreux : les outils et interfaces de com sont rarement partag\u00e9s, les priorit\u00e9s op\u00e9rationnelles se multiplient et l\u2019\u00e9go\u00efsme ambiant est un monstre difficile \u00e0 dompter. Tout cela contribue \u00e0 renforcer la valeur de cet effort jamais insurmontable.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Synchroniser des perspectives de carri\u00e8re tellement diff\u00e9rentes<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Deuxi\u00e8me effort \u00e0 entreprendre : la synchronisation des carri\u00e8res. Une des raisons du d\u00e9samour qui peut exister parfois entre les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations, c\u2019est la vision que nous pouvons avoir en mati\u00e8re de perspectives professionnelles.<br \/>\nL\u2019ambition n\u2019est cependant pas r\u00e9serv\u00e9e \u00e0 celles et ceux qui sont encore en train de s\u2019installer dans leur secteur et leur entreprise. Le terrain nous montre chaque jour que l\u2019envie ne dispara\u00eet pas forc\u00e9ment avec les ann\u00e9es, ni m\u00eame qu\u2019elle est intrins\u00e8que aux plus jeunes d\u2019entre nous. Les nombreux chatons qui ont la flemme en sont la preuve (plus ou moins vivante).<\/p>\n<p>La modification la plus \u00e9vidente concerne la fulgurance de la progression que l\u2019on peut observer. Celle-ci colle \u00e0 des cycles \u00e9conomiques courts et brutaux. Voici d\u2019ailleurs la raison principale pour laquelle les dispositifs d\u2019\u00e9volution \u00e0 l\u2019anciennet\u00e9 s\u2019\u00e9teignent les uns apr\u00e8s les autres. Ces syst\u00e8mes sont remplac\u00e9s par l\u2019\u00e9mergence soudaine de comp\u00e9tences nouvelles que l\u2019on acquiert souvent dans la sph\u00e8re priv\u00e9e d\u2019ailleurs. La capacit\u00e9 d\u2019apprentissage est le nouveau juge de paix. Et c\u2019est une formidable opportunit\u00e9 de ramener tous les coll\u00e8gues \u00e0 un point de rassemblement unique, peu importe l\u2019\u00e2ge affich\u00e9 par chacun.e.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Nostalgie, conservatisme et anxi\u00e9t\u00e9\u2026 et une alternative \u00e9vidente pour f\u00e9d\u00e9rer !<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Il y a enfin les \u2018sentiments g\u00e9n\u00e9riques\u2019 que nous utilisons pour d\u00e9crire chacune des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations dans leur rapport au monde et au travail. Pour bien les segmenter, nous parlons de la nostalgie des boomers ou de l\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 ressentie par la GenZ. Cette mani\u00e8re de nous diff\u00e9rencier ne r\u00e9siste cependant pas \u00e0 l\u2019analyse.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e8s que nous prenons la d\u00e9cision de r\u00e9unir les tranches d\u2019\u00e2ge au lieu de leur attribuer des \u00e9tats d\u2019esprit proches de la caricature, nous constatons que ces sentiments a priori diff\u00e9rents sont identiques et traduisent l\u2019isolement et le repli sur soi.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est l\u00e0 que nous pouvons proposer autre chose, qui serait de l\u2019ordre de la vigilance mutuelle. Bien s\u00fbr, les mots n\u2019inspirent pas vraiment le romantisme alors que nous ne demandons, toutes et tous, qu\u2019\u00e0 r\u00eaver. Mais, sur le fond, c\u2019est bien de cela dont il est question : prendre soin les uns des autres, dans nos organisations comme dans nos vies quotidiennes. C\u2019est un \u00e9tat d\u2019esprit hyper f\u00e9d\u00e9rateur.
