Les entreprises peuvent participer \u00e0 la pr\u00e9vention."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>L\u2019Institut pour l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des femmes et des hommes publie aujourd\u2019hui un nouveau rapport consacr\u00e9 aux violences bas\u00e9es sur le genre afin de comprendre leurs dynamiques et leurs cons\u00e9quences. L\u2019\u00e9tude met en lumi\u00e8re des r\u00e9alit\u00e9s encore peu \u00e9tudi\u00e9es telles que la revictimisation, les cons\u00e9quences des violences sur les victimes ou encore le non-recours aux services d\u2019aide et \u00e0 la police.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Cette \u00e9tude met en \u00e9vidence des situations de revictimisation ou de r\u00e9p\u00e9tition des violences : les personnes ayant subi des violences durant l\u2019enfance sont davantage expos\u00e9es \u00e0 des violences \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge adulte. De m\u00eame, les victimes d\u2019une forme de violence bas\u00e9e sur le genre d\u00e9clarent plus fr\u00e9quemment avoir subi d\u2019autres formes de violences (entre partenaires, par un non-partenaire, harc\u00e8lement ou harc\u00e8lement sexuel au travail) au cours de leur vie.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Des groupes particuli\u00e8rement vuln\u00e9rables<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats montrent \u00e9galement que l\u2019exposition aux violences varie selon le groupe de population. Certains pr\u00e9sentent un risque plus \u00e9lev\u00e9, notamment :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>les femmes en incapacit\u00e9 de travail en raison d\u2019un handicap ou d\u2019un probl\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 de longue dur\u00e9e ;<\/li>\n<li>les femmes en mauvaise sant\u00e9 ;<\/li>\n<li>les femmes sans emploi.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ces situations augmentent le risque de violences et compliquent \u00e9galement la capacit\u00e9 des victimes \u00e0 s\u2019extraire d\u2019un contexte violent.<\/p>\n<p>Pour Michel Pasteel, directeur de l\u2019Institut pour l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des femmes et des hommes, <em>\u00ab\u00a0les cons\u00e9quences des violences bas\u00e9es sur le genre sont multiples : elles fragilisent la sant\u00e9 psychologique, la sant\u00e9 physique et la vie quotidienne et professionnelle des victimes. Face \u00e0 cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9, nous devons renforcer la pr\u00e9vention, rendre l\u2019aide plus accessible et lever les obstacles qui emp\u00eachent trop souvent les victimes de demander du soutien.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Peu de recours aux services d\u2019aide et \u00e0 la police<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Une majorit\u00e9 de victimes se confient \u00e0 leurs proches. Cependant, seule une minorit\u00e9 contacte les services d\u2019aide ou la police \u2013 29,5% des victimes de violences par partenaire contactent les services de sant\u00e9 ou sociaux, 27,6% la police, et 6,6% une ligne d\u2019\u00e9coute ou un service d\u2019aide aux victimes. Ces chiffres sont encore plus bas pour les victimes de violences par non-partenaire. Pour le harc\u00e8lement, seules 13,1% des victimes les signalent \u00e0 un\u00b7e avocat\u00b7e et 20,1% \u00e0 la police. Enfin, seules 19,7% des femmes victimes de harc\u00e8lement sexuel au travail se confient au conseiller en pr\u00e9vention ou \u00e0 la personne en charge de prendre des mesures.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Des recommandations pour renforcer les politiques publiques<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Au regard de ces constats, l\u2019Institut formule plusieurs recommandations visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la pr\u00e9vention, le soutien aux victimes et l\u2019accessibilit\u00e9 des services d\u2019aide et des points de signalement. Concr\u00e8tement :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mettre en place un pack d\u2019aide destin\u00e9 aux victimes de violences par partenaire intime, afin de leur permettre de sortir de toute forme de d\u00e9pendance vis-\u00e0-vis du partenaire violent.<\/li>\n<li>Analyser la plus-value de pouvoir faire un signalement et\/ou d\u00e9poser une plainte en ligne en assurant un suivi direct par un inspecteur de la police sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9.<\/li>\n<li>Mieux former la police aux violences bas\u00e9es sur le genre et \u00e0 l\u2019accueil et l\u2019orientation des victimes. \u00c9valuer r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement la satisfaction des victimes des services de la police.<\/li>\n<li>Mettre \u00e0 disposition des employeurs des outils afin de les aider \u00e0 \u00e9laborer une politique de pr\u00e9vention du harc\u00e8lement sexuel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Le rapport complet, les recommandations et une fiche d&rsquo;information synth\u00e9tique sont disponibles en fran\u00e7ais et en n\u00e9erlandais sur le site de l\u2019Institut.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Source: \u00e9tude R\u00e9alis\u00e9e par l\u2019UC Leuven-Limburg, l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Gand et l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Li\u00e8ge \u00e0 la demande de l\u2019Institut pour l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des femmes et des hommes, cette \u00e9tude repose sur l&rsquo;analyse des donn\u00e9es belges de l\u2019enqu\u00eate europ\u00e9enne sur les violences bas\u00e9es sur le genre (EU-GBV), men\u00e9e en Belgique entre juillet 2021 et ao\u00fbt 2022 aupr\u00e8s d\u2019un \u00e9chantillon repr\u00e9sentatif de 5.800 personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es de 18 \u00e0 74 ans.
