L\u2019IWEPS a publi\u00e9 en avril dernier son 11\u1d49 cahier prospectif consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019intelligence artificielle. L\u2019\u00e9tude analyse ses impacts potentiels sur les emplois en Wallonie, ainsi que sur la productivit\u00e9 et la croissance. Elle propose \u00e9galement une estimation de l\u2019exposition des m\u00e9tiers \u00e0 l\u2019IA et met en \u00e9vidence les principaux enjeux \u00e9conomiques et soci\u00e9taux.<\/p>\n

L\u2019intelligence artificielle est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e comme une technologie d\u2019usage g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, comparable aux grandes innovations du pass\u00e9, rendue possible par les progr\u00e8s du big data et de la puissance de calcul.<\/p>\n

Elle constitue un levier majeur d\u2019innovation et d\u2019automatisation, susceptible de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des gains de productivit\u00e9. Toutefois, un paradoxe de productivit\u00e9 persiste : malgr\u00e9 ces avanc\u00e9es, la croissance globale reste mod\u00e9r\u00e9e dans de nombreux pays industrialis\u00e9s, notamment en raison des d\u00e9lais d\u2019adoption et des transformations organisationnelles n\u00e9cessaires.<\/p>\n

Une forte exposition des emplois wallons \u00e0 l\u2019IA<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Le rapport met en \u00e9vidence une forte exposition des emplois \u00e0 l\u2019intelligence artificielle. Pr\u00e8s de 6 emplois wallons sur 10 seraient concern\u00e9s, dont environ 40% rel\u00e8vent de professions intellectuelles, scientifiques et artistiques, notamment du fait de la nature g\u00e9n\u00e9rative de l\u2019IA.<\/p>\n

Contrairement aux pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes r\u00e9volutions technologiques, l\u2019IA affecte d\u00e9sormais des t\u00e2ches cognitives complexes, ce qui modifie la nature m\u00eame des emplois. Elle combine ainsi des dynamiques de substitution et de compl\u00e9mentarit\u00e9, avec des effets potentiels sur la structure du march\u00e9 du travail et les niveaux de qualification.<\/p>\n

Transformation des comp\u00e9tences et risques d\u2019in\u00e9galit\u00e9s<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Face \u00e0 ces \u00e9volutions, le d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences appara\u00eet comme un enjeu central. La formation continue et la requalification sont identifi\u00e9es comme des leviers essentiels pour accompagner l\u2019int\u00e9gration de l\u2019IA dans les organisations.<\/p>\n

Le rapport souligne \u00e9galement une tendance \u00e0 la concentration des b\u00e9n\u00e9fices \u00e9conomiques dans certains pays et grandes entreprises, ce qui peut accentuer les disparit\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques, sociales et territoriales.<\/p>\n

R\u00e9gulation et gouvernance de l\u2019intelligence artificielle<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Le d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019IA soul\u00e8ve des enjeux majeurs en mati\u00e8re de r\u00e9gulation \u00e9conomique et \u00e9thique, notamment en ce qui concerne la transparence des syst\u00e8mes, la protection des donn\u00e9es, l\u2019ajustement de la fiscalit\u00e9 et la gouvernance.
\nLa pleine r\u00e9alisation de son potentiel \u00e9conomique d\u00e9pendra d\u2019une coordination entre innovation, transformation sociale et r\u00e9gulation responsable, garantissant un d\u00e9veloppement durable et inclusif.<\/p>\n
