Nos managers sont confront\u00e9s \u00e0 ce travail de synth\u00e8se particuli\u00e8rement compliqu\u00e9&#8230; Peut-on\u00a0concilier la participation du plus grand nombre \u00e0 l&rsquo;effort de r\u00e9flexion et le respect des mod\u00e8les d&rsquo;organisation classiques?<!--more--><\/h1>\n<p>Le mod\u00e8le participatif, fond\u00e9 notamment sur la mobilisation et l&rsquo;autonomie croissante des collaborateurs, constitue un terreau favorable pour le d\u00e9veloppement de l&rsquo;intelligence collective. Mais, en r\u00e9alit\u00e9, ce mod\u00e8le n&rsquo;est pas le plus r\u00e9pandu dans nos entreprises actuellement. Les organisations peinent \u00e0 le mettre en oeuvre &#8211; un chantier &lsquo;culturel&rsquo; \u00e9norme! &#8211; et demeurent aujourd&rsquo;hui encore des structures hi\u00e9rarchiques traditionnelles. Il est temps d\u00e8s lors de s&rsquo;int\u00e9resser aux freins inh\u00e9rents \u00e0 ce type d&rsquo;organisation vis-\u00e0-vis de l&rsquo;intelligence collective.<\/p>\n<p>Premier obstacle majeur: <em><strong>la difficult\u00e9 que rencontrent les organisations hi\u00e9rarchiques \u00e0 s&rsquo;adapter aux situations impr\u00e9visibles.<\/strong> <\/em>Le changement disruptif n&rsquo;est pas le meilleur ami des entreprises structur\u00e9es. Celles-ci souffrent face \u00e0 la complexit\u00e9 syst\u00e9mique de notre environnement et r\u00e9agissent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement, selon les observateurs, en s&rsquo;engageant dans une direction oppos\u00e9e aux attentes des groupes et individus qui les composent.<\/p>\n<p>Ensuite, l\u2019intelligence collective, d\u00e9finie par l&rsquo;IBM Institute for Business Value comme \u00ab\u00a0la somme des connaissances, des opinions et de l\u2019expertise d\u2019un groupe h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e8ne\u00a0\u00bb se marie assez mal avec <strong><em>la notion d&rsquo;autorit\u00e9.<\/em><\/strong> Les instances de d\u00e9cision peinent \u00e0 int\u00e9grer le flux incessant des informations qui circulent dans l&rsquo;organisation. Cons\u00e9quence: elles d\u00e9veloppent des visions r\u00e9ductrices qui g\u00e9n\u00e8rent un d\u00e9calage croissant avec le terrain.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Le manque de ressources<\/strong><\/em> dont nous ne cessons de nous plaindre est un autre \u00e9l\u00e9ment contraignant. La raret\u00e9 des moyens disponibles stimule la comp\u00e9tition, c&rsquo;est vrai. Mais reconnaissons que celle-ci s&rsquo;exerce la plupart du temps au d\u00e9triment de la collaboration. La situation donne souvent naissance \u00e0 des strat\u00e9gies de territoire et d&rsquo;appropriation du savoir au lieu de favoriser le partage d&rsquo;information et la capacit\u00e9 d&rsquo;adaptation.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, <strong><em>la division du travail<\/em>\u00a0inh\u00e9rente aux organisations hi\u00e9rarchiques\u00a0<\/strong>pr\u00e9voit que chacun intervienne dans un r\u00f4le pr\u00e9d\u00e9fini. Qui dit division du travail sous-entend aussi division de l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l&rsquo;information. Malgr\u00e9 les efforts nombreux en mati\u00e8re de fluidit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;info \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur m\u00eame des organisations hi\u00e9rarchiques, c&rsquo;est la protection du pouvoir et des pr\u00e9rogatives qui l&rsquo;accompagnent qui l&#8217;emporte.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;ensemble de ces &lsquo;obstacles&rsquo; ne rendent pas pour autant l&rsquo;intelligence collective impossible&#8230; Ils nuisent toutefois \u00e0 l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 d&rsquo;un processus indispensable aujourd&rsquo;hui lorsque l&rsquo;entreprise doit se r\u00e9inventer.
