Mais les conditions ont chang\u00e9 entre-temps et la notion d&rsquo;\u00e9quilibre entre vie priv\u00e9e et vie professionnelle est nettement plus pr\u00e9gnante dans les choix de carri\u00e8re de nos \u00e9lites.<!--more--><\/h1>\n<p>Plus de la moiti\u00e9 (56 %) des multinationales pr\u00e9voient pour 2016 une augmentation des missions \u00e0 court terme pour les expats. C\u2019est ce que r\u00e9v\u00e8le la \u00ab\u00a0Worldwide Survey of International Assignment Policies and Practices\u00a0\u00bb de Mercer, une \u00e9tude sur la mobilit\u00e9 men\u00e9e aupr\u00e8s de 831 multinationales employant au total quelque 29 millions de collaborateurs.<\/p>\n<p>Les multinationales s\u2019attendent en outre \u00e0 une augmentation des d\u00e9placements permanents (54 %), des missions de d\u00e9veloppement et de formation (50 %) et de l\u2019engagement local d\u2019\u00e9trangers (47 %). <em>\u00ab\u00a0Les multinationales recourent de plus en plus souvent aux missions \u00e0 court terme pour les expats\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>, explique Ellen van Arenthals, Expat Consultant chez Mercer. <em>\u00ab\u00a0Cela leur permet de r\u00e9agir de mani\u00e8re flexible aux conditions de march\u00e9 changeantes et de contourner les principaux obstacles : emmener la famille ou le partenaire, et les co\u00fbts d\u2019un d\u00e9m\u00e9nagement qui y sont li\u00e9s.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ainsi, 35 % des r\u00e9pondants affirment que les conditions familiales et la carri\u00e8re du partenaire (\u00ab dual career \u00bb) constituent un (tr\u00e8s) gros obstacle \u00e0 la mobilit\u00e9 internationale. Ellen van Arenthals indique que les missions courtes entra\u00eenent cependant des d\u00e9fis en mati\u00e8re de conformit\u00e9 : <em>\u00ab\u00a0Il est important que les entreprises suivent scrupuleusement ces collaborateurs en ce qui concerne les imp\u00f4ts, la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sociale et l\u2019immigration. Dans le cas contraire, cela peut avoir de lourdes cons\u00e9quences juridiques et financi\u00e8res pour les deux parties.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Un peu plus de femmes expats<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La proportion de femmes expats a l\u00e9g\u00e8rement augment\u00e9 dans le monde, avec une participation moyenne de 15% par rapport \u00e0 12% en 2013 et 9% en 2010. Les missions \u00e0 long terme concernent surtout les 36-55 ans (66%), tandis que les moins de 35 ans s\u2019acquittent plus souvent de missions courtes (48% en 2015, contre 45 % en 2013). Avec une proportion moyenne de 10% et 7% dans les missions respectivement longues et courtes, la cat\u00e9gorie d\u2019\u00e2ge des 55+ est sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9e dans la mobilit\u00e9 internationale.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Besoin accru de fonctions strat\u00e9giques<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude r\u00e9v\u00e8le que 57% des entreprises s\u2019attendent \u00e0 une hausse du nombre de missions importantes ou strat\u00e9giques. 51% envisagent plus de places pour les jeunes travailleurs et 41% s\u2019attendent \u00e0 une augmentation des missions dans des pays lointains. La plupart des missions devraient concerner les \u00c9tats-Unis, la Chine, le Royaume-Uni, Singapour et le Br\u00e9sil.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le monde, 85% des entreprises disposent d\u2019une politique pour les missions internationales (contre 81% en 2012). Le rapport r\u00e9v\u00e8le \u00e9galement une hausse marqu\u00e9e du nombre d\u2019entreprises qui ont une politique multiple (64%, contre 57% auparavant). Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une cons\u00e9quence de la tendance \u00e0 une variation accrue dans les missions. <em>\u00ab\u00a0Il est peu probable qu\u2019une seule politique convienne \u00e0 tout le monde, et il r\u00e9sulte de cette approche limit\u00e9e que les collaborateurs sont souvent r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s injustement. L\u2019introduction d\u2019une politique ad hoc, qui convient pour diff\u00e9rents types de collaborateurs et de missions, peut \u00eatre une initiative tr\u00e8s efficace et moins on\u00e9reuse pour la plupart des fonctions de mobilit\u00e9 internationale\u00a0\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Top cinq des principales raisons pour les missions internationales :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>1. Manque de comp\u00e9tences techniques sp\u00e9cifiques sur place (47 %)<\/em><br \/>\n<em> 2. Stimuler le transfert des connaissances (43 %)<\/em><br \/>\n<em> 3. Apporter des aptitudes manag\u00e9riales sp\u00e9cifiques (41 %)<\/em><br \/>\n<em> 4. Faciliter la gestion de carri\u00e8re et le d\u00e9veloppement du leadership (41 %)<\/em><br \/>\n<em> 5.
