Nous sommes tous concern\u00e9s. Un nouveau rapport de la Fondation Roi Baudouin met en \u00e9vidence les effets de levier importants dont l&rsquo;\u00e9cole peut b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier en renfor\u00e7ant le leadership de ses directions.<!--more--><\/h1>\n<p>Comme le pr\u00e9cise le\u00a0rapport de la Fondation Roi Baudouin, <em>\u00ab\u00a0les directions d\u2019\u00e9coles ont un r\u00f4le crucial \u00e0 jouer si l\u2019on veut am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019enseignement et les r\u00e9sultats des \u00e9l\u00e8ves dans la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Wallonie-Bruxelles.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>La Fondation s&rsquo;est\u00a0investie pour favoriser la mise en place d\u2019\u00e9quipes de direction de qualit\u00e9. Cibler les directions permet un effet de levier important, compte tenu de leur nombre relativement restreint (2.100 directeurs nomm\u00e9s) au regard du nombre d&rsquo;enseignants (plus de 100.000) et d&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e8ves (900.000 dans l\u2019enseignement obligatoire) aupr\u00e8s desquels ils peuvent avoir un impact.<\/p>\n<p>Elle\u00a0a d\u00e8s lors lanc\u00e9 en 2014 un programme de coaching de directions qui livre de nombreux enseignements, gr\u00e2ce notamment \u00e0 de multiples exp\u00e9riences de terrain.<\/p>\n<p>Ces enseignements sont aujourd\u2019hui publi\u00e9s sous la forme du rapport<em> \u00ab\u00a0Pour un renforcement du leadership des directions d\u2019\u00e9coles\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>\u00a0(disponible sur www.kbs-frb.be). Les constats sont clairs: les directions se sentent peu \u00e9quip\u00e9es pour faire face aux d\u00e9fis qu\u2019elles rencontrent, et manquent de temps, de moyens, d\u2019autonomie.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Leadership et travail collaboratif, bien s\u00fbr !<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ses recommandations sont directes: mieux outiller les directions (formation, accompagnement) et les placer dans des conditions favorables pour exercer leur leadership et d\u00e9velopper le travail collaboratif.<\/p>\n<p>Les directeurs eux-m\u00eames mettent en avant une s\u00e9rie de freins et de difficult\u00e9s rencontr\u00e9s dans la mise en \u0153uvre des missions qui leur sont assign\u00e9es\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Un manque de temps pour se consacrer au p\u00e9dagogique;<br \/>\n&#8211; Un manque d\u2019autonomie par rapport \u00e0 la gestion du personnel;<br \/>\n&#8211; Un d\u00e9ficit de comp\u00e9tences et de connaissances des enseignants;<br \/>\n&#8211; Une r\u00e9sistance au changement chez certains enseignants (et directeurs);<br \/>\n&#8211; Un manque de vision, de collaboration et de travail collectif autour de la p\u00e9dagogie;<br \/>\n&#8211; Des contextes de travail trop souvent conflictuels.<\/p>\n<p>Le principal constat tient en une phrase\u00a0: <em>\u00ab\u00a0les directeurs sont peu outill\u00e9s pour faire face aux nombreux d\u00e9fis et \u00e0 la complexit\u00e9 des situations qu\u2019ils doivent g\u00e9rer. Or, c\u2019est seulement en endossant pleinement leur r\u00f4le de leader qu\u2019ils pourront r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces d\u00e9fis et avoir un impact sur les r\u00e9sultats des \u00e9l\u00e8ves.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>De l\u00e0 \u00e0 r\u00eaver d&rsquo;un \u00e9change de bonnes pratiques entre l&rsquo;entreprise et l&rsquo;enseignement, appel\u00e9 de nos voeux depuis longtemps d\u00e9j\u00e0? Bien s\u00fbr ! La Fondation met en avant plusieurs actions RH qui font partie du quotidien de l&rsquo;entreprise.<\/p>\n<p>Citons parmi les recommandations principales du rapport :<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211; une s\u00e9lection des directeurs davantage ax\u00e9e sur les comp\u00e9tences-cl\u00e9s pour la fonction, \u00e0 savoir les comp\u00e9tences relationnelles et de leadership. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211; un renforcement de la formation des directeurs (accompagnement lors de la prise de fonction, \u00a0d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences relationnelles, mise en oeuvre d&rsquo;une culture de l&rsquo;\u00e9valuation&#8230;).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211; l&rsquo;application de bonnes pratiques en mati\u00e8re de leadership, passant par la gestion de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe et la stimulation du travail collaboratif sur le p\u00e9dagogique, la construction d\u2019une vision commune, la responsabilisation de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe sur des projets transversaux et le pilotage collectif de l\u2019\u00e9tablissement.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Une question, une seule: qu&rsquo;attendons-nous ? Pouvons-nous encore accepter que rien ne se passe parce que l&rsquo;\u00e9cole manque de moyens?
