Parmi les hypoth\u00e8ses que nous collectons dans le cadre de notre prochain dossier (Peoplesphere n\u00b0202 &#8211; \u00e0 para\u00eetre fin mars): le d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre que nous observons sur le plan de la repr\u00e9sentation des femmes au sommet de nos organisations serait le fruit d&rsquo;un manque d&rsquo;ambition. Vraiment ?<!--more--><\/h1>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0\u00c0 peine 1 femme belge sur 20 ambitionne une fonction de directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale ou de CEO. Un homme belge sur 5 vise, en revanche, le sommet de la hi\u00e9rarchie.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> Cette conclusion ressort des chiffres d\u2019une \u00e9tude internationale men\u00e9e par le sp\u00e9cialiste en recrutement Hays, \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de la Journ\u00e9e internationale de la Femme. Parmi les pays limitrophes, seuls les Pays-Bas font moins bien avec un pourcentage de 3,5 %.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0\u00c0 peine 5 % des femmes belges ambitionnent une fonction de directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale ou de CEO. S\u2019il contraste avec des pays comme la Colombie (22 %), la Malaisie (28 %) et les \u00c9mirats arabes unis (18 %), ce chiffre n\u2019est peut-\u00eatre pas aussi dramatique qu\u2019il le sugg\u00e8re.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>En effet, les femmes belges se d\u00e9clarent nettement plus ambitieuses quant aux r\u00f4les de niveau interm\u00e9diaire. Une femme belge sur deux indique qu\u2019elle devrait atteindre un poste de management pour estimer avoir r\u00e9ussi, contre 30 % des hommes.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>La tendance \u00e0 l\u2019absence de talent f\u00e9minin au sommet de la hi\u00e9rarchie ne montre aucun signe d\u2019inversion. Pour 76 % des r\u00e9pondants, la personne la plus haut plac\u00e9e dans leur organisation est un homme. L\u2019enqu\u00eate r\u00e9v\u00e8le aussi que les femmes ont une vision plus n\u00e9gative de leurs possibilit\u00e9s de carri\u00e8re par rapport \u00e0 celles des hommes : 30 % des r\u00e9pondantes pensent qu\u2019elles n\u2019ont pas les m\u00eames opportunit\u00e9s de carri\u00e8re que leurs coll\u00e8gues masculins (contre 13 % des hommes). L\u2019ann\u00e9e pass\u00e9e, 25 % des femmes avaient fait ce constat (contre 11 % des hommes).<\/p>\n<p>Il ressort enfin de l\u2019enqu\u00eate que les entreprises doivent \u00eatre plus transparentes quant \u00e0 ce qu\u2019elles mettent en \u0153uvre pour favoriser l\u2019avancement des femmes, y compris en mati\u00e8re de politiques formelles de diversit\u00e9 des genres. Les r\u00e9pondants indiquent en majorit\u00e9 que leur organisation n\u2019a pas de politique de diversit\u00e9 (44 %) ou ne pas \u00eatre s\u00fbrs qu\u2019elle en ait une (32 %).<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Les hommes belges sont plus conscients des diff\u00e9rences de genre au travail<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Parmi les raisons invoqu\u00e9es lorsqu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit de comprendre comment les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s parviennent \u00e0 subsister, nous citons r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement&#8230; l&rsquo;ignorance d&rsquo;une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 objective. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude men\u00e9e par Hays International semble le confirmer : <em>\u00ab\u00a0On note toujours un d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre patent entre la perception qu\u2019ont les hommes et les femmes de la r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration et de la reconnaissance dont b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient les travailleuses. 80 % des hommes pensent que les hommes et les femmes ayant les m\u00eames capacit\u00e9s sont pay\u00e9s ou r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s sur un pied d\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9, tandis qu\u2019\u00e0 peine 52 % des femmes en sont convaincues. Par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019ann\u00e9e pass\u00e9e, cette proportion chez les hommes a toutefois \u00e9volu\u00e9 : \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, 93 % des hommes belges pensaient, en effet, que les hommes et les femmes \u00e9taient pay\u00e9s ou r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Cette sensibilisation accrue indique que davantage d\u2019hommes sont d\u00e9sormais conscients de l\u2019existence d\u2019un d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre salarial entre les sexes. Cette diff\u00e9rence de 13 % est significative !
