Conclusion : \u00e0 travers\u00a0le monde, les fonctions de management et de leadership ne figurent pas au nombre des priorit\u00e9s de la G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y.<!--more--> Ce second volet de l\u2019\u00e9tude r\u00e9v\u00e8le que les actifs de cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration privil\u00e9gient l\u2019acquisition et le d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences qui assureront la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de leur parcours professionnel sur le long terme, et ce au d\u00e9triment d\u2019une progression dans la hi\u00e9rarchie. Trois tendances \u00e9mergent des r\u00e9sultats de la Belgique.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1. Etre chef ? non merci !<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nTrois priorit\u00e9s \u00e9mergent lorsqu\u2019on interroge les jeunes actifs belges de la G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y sur leurs objectifs de carri\u00e8re : apporter une contribution positive (35%) \u2013 et donc exercer un m\u00e9tier qui fasse du sens \u2013 travailler avec des personnes enrichissantes (25%) et \u00eatre un expert reconnu dans son domaine (15%). Gagner beaucoup d\u2019argent (11%) n\u2019arrive<br \/>\nqu\u2019en quatri\u00e8me position. L\u2019un des principaux enseignement de l\u2019enqu\u00eate est le faible int\u00e9r\u00eat que les Y accordent \u00e0 des fonctions de management et de leadership : seulement 1% d\u2019entre eux aimeraient diriger une \u00e9quipe, 3% ambitionnent\u00a0d\u2019acc\u00e9der au sommet de l\u2019entreprise et 9% envisagent de cr\u00e9er leur propre entreprise.<\/p>\n<p>Ces pourcentages cumul\u00e9s indiquent qu\u2019\u00e0 peine 13% des membres de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y en Belgique placent l\u2019obtention de postes de direction en t\u00eate de leurs priorit\u00e9s de carri\u00e8re. Ce pourcentage est nettement inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 la moyenne mondiale qui se situe d\u2019ailleurs au niveau relativement faible de 22%. Les pays o\u00f9 les Millennials se montrent le plus ambitieux sont le Mexique (40%), le Br\u00e9sil (30%), la France (30%) et la Chine (27%). A l\u2019inverse, c\u2019est en Allemagne et en Belgique (13%), au Japon (11%) et en Norv\u00e8ge (9%) que le d\u00e9sir de prendre des responsabilit\u00e9s de management est le moins prononc\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Philippe Lacroix, Managing Director de ManpowerGroup BeLux commente : <em>\u00ab\u00a0Alors que le monde du travail se transforme toujours plus rapidement, les jeunes de la G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y cherchent avant tout \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper leur employabilit\u00e9 sur le march\u00e9 du travail en renfor\u00e7ant leur savoir-faire.Malgr\u00e9 le fait que les structures hi\u00e9rarchiques se simplifient, ils semblent moins attir\u00e9s par les postes de management. L\u2019enqu\u00eate montre que les hommes aspirent davantage \u00e0 diriger que les femmes. Pour former la future g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de leaders, les employeurs devront leur d\u00e9montrer que les fonctions de management sont un levier pour leur carri\u00e8re et les aider \u00e0 inventer un style de management qui leur correspond.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>2. Mes comp\u00e9tences \u00e0 moi&#8230;<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nFace \u00e0 une carri\u00e8re marathon, les Millennials sont conscients de l\u2019importance de la formation continue. En Belgique, 67% mettent la priorit\u00e9 sur le d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences individuelles : comp\u00e9tences techniques li\u00e9es au m\u00e9tier (25%), comp\u00e9tences de savoir \u00eatre\/soft skills \u2013 communication, travail en \u00e9quipe (24%) et ma\u00eetrise de l\u2019informatique et des technologies (18%). L\u2019acquisition de comp\u00e9tences manag\u00e9riales n\u2019est pl\u00e9biscit\u00e9e que par un Millennial sur trois (33%), qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse de leadership (16%) ou de gestion d\u2019\u00e9quipe (17%). Ils consid\u00e9rent le perfectionnement professionnel comme une garantie de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 d\u2019emploi \u00e0 long terme. Il n\u2019est d\u00e8s lors pas \u00e9tonnant que 76% d\u2019entre eux consid\u00e8rent la possibilit\u00e9 de se former et d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir des nouvelles comp\u00e9tences comme un facteur d\u00e9terminant pour choisir ou rester chez un employeur. Selon eux, la dur\u00e9e id\u00e9ale sur un m\u00eame poste est de deux ans maximum et l\u2019absence de perspective d\u2019\u00e9volution indique qu\u2019il est temps de quitter son employeur.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>3.\u00a0En qu\u00eate d&rsquo;\u00e9coute et de reconnaissance.<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nEn Belgique, deux tiers de membres de la G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y se disent satisfaits de la mani\u00e8re dont ils sont dirig\u00e9s. Toutefois, la plupart d\u2019\u00eatre eux aspireraient \u00e0 un style de management plus personnel et humain. S\u2019ils \u00e9taient \u00e0 la place de leur chef, ils se montreraient plus \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9coute (69%, 46% estiment que leur manager est dou\u00e9 sur ce point), donneraient plus de conseils et de feedback (66% contre 41%) et encourageraient davantage leurs collaborateurs au quotidien (63% contre 44%). L\u2019enqu\u00eate a aussi r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que 41% des Millennials seraient pr\u00eat \u00e0 changer d\u2019emploi si leur employeur ne leur montre pas suffisamment de reconnaissance.
