Elle conclut \u00e0 une forme de d\u00e9tachement de la part de nos travailleurs vis-\u00e0-vis de possibles pratiques contraires \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9thique au sein de l\u2019entreprise ne pr\u00e9occupent gu\u00e8re les travailleurs belges. Cons\u00e9quence de l&rsquo;instabilit\u00e9 politique et \u00e9conomique? Tous les moyens seraient-ils bons pour survivre?<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Le constat contraste vivement avec les r\u00e9sultats g\u00e9n\u00e9raux. Ceux-ci font appara\u00eetre que plus de la moiti\u00e9 des r\u00e9pondants per\u00e7oivent que le comportement immoral et la corruption sont des pratiques tr\u00e8s r\u00e9pandues et que plus de trois quarts des dirigeants et des membres de la direction g\u00e9n\u00e9rale d\u00e9clarent qu\u2019ils pourraient tol\u00e9rer un comportement immoral si cela aide l\u2019entreprise \u00e0 survivre.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019EMEIA Fraud Survey 2017, une \u00e9tude qui a sond\u00e9 4.100 travailleurs de 41 pays, montre que le climat dans lequel op\u00e8rent les entreprises devient de plus en plus incertain \u2013 une cons\u00e9quence de l\u2019instabilit\u00e9 politique mondiale et du ralentissement de la croissance \u2013 et contraint les chefs d\u2019entreprise \u00e0 rechercher de nouvelles pistes pour atteindre leurs objectifs financiers. De telles circonstances risquent de conduire \u00e0 l\u2019abaissement du seuil de tol\u00e9rance vis-\u00e0-vis des comportements contraires \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9thique.<\/p>\n<p>Pourtant les premiers r\u00e9sultats sont encourageants: <em>\u00ab\u00a0compar\u00e9s aux r\u00e9pondants d\u2019autres pays d\u2019Europe occidentale, les travailleurs belges se montrent moins dispos\u00e9s \u00e0 la perp\u00e9tration d\u2019actes contraires \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9thique pour favoriser leur carri\u00e8re ou les r\u00e9sultats de leur entreprise. C\u2019est ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 peine 4 % des r\u00e9pondants belges estiment qu\u2019il est acceptable de proposer des paiements au comptant afin d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir ou de conserver des activit\u00e9s commerciales, si cela peut aider l\u2019entreprise \u00e0 survivre (en moyenne 11 % dans les pays d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s, 22 % sur les march\u00e9s de croissance).\u00a0<\/em><em>Les r\u00e9pondants belges observent \u00e9galement peu d\u2019abus chez leurs coll\u00e8gues ; quelque 65 % d\u2019entre eux d\u00e9clarent ne jamais avoir eu connaissance d\u2019informations ou de pr\u00e9occupations sur une fraude ou une corruption \u00e9ventuelle au sein de leur entreprise (contre 48 % de tous les r\u00e9pondants).\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Un probl\u00e8me sous-estim\u00e9 ?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9tude souligne cependant que les travailleurs belges ne se pr\u00e9occupent pas suffisamment du sujet : <em>\u00ab\u00a0De l\u00e0 \u00e0 dire que les Belges figurent r\u00e9ellement parmi les bons \u00e9l\u00e8ves en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9thique d\u2019entreprise, il y a une marge. Plus d\u2019un r\u00e9pondant belge sur trois (36 %) est convaincu que la fraude et la corruption sont monnaie courante dans les entreprises. Ce chiffre est conforme, voire un rien plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 que la moyenne des pays d\u2019Europe occidentale (33 %). Il semble donc bien davantage que les participants belges \u00e0 l\u2019enqu\u00eate ont tendance \u00e0 sous-estimer le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de la corruption dans leur entreprise.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Les entreprises belges d\u00e9ploient trop peu d\u2019efforts pour stimuler la vigilance de leurs travailleurs vis-\u00e0-vis des pratiques contraires \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9thique. \u00c0 peine 4 % des r\u00e9pondants belges ont connaissance de l\u2019existence de hotlines pour les lanceurs d\u2019alertes, o\u00f9 les abus \u00e9ventuels peuvent \u00eatre d\u00e9nonc\u00e9s ; un chiffre sensiblement inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 la moyenne de l\u2019Europe occidentale (19 %) et des pays en croissance (22 %).\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Les nouvelles g\u00e9n\u00e9rations, profils \u00e0 risque&#8230;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9tude rel\u00e8ve encore que <em>\u00ab\u00a0les 25-34 ans sont plus dispos\u00e9s au comportement immoral que toute autre cat\u00e9gorie d\u2019\u00e2ge.\u00a0Une personne sur quatre \u00e2g\u00e9e de 25 \u00e0 34 ans (g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y) est dispos\u00e9e \u00e0 payer des pots-de-vin pour rentrer des contrats, contre 14 % de tous les r\u00e9pondants r\u00e9unis. Par ailleurs, 73 % des 25-34 ans sont dispos\u00e9s \u00e0 un comportement contraire \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9thique dans l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat de l\u2019entreprise ou de leur propre carri\u00e8re.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Cette \u00e9volution est qualifi\u00e9e <em>\u00ab\u00a0d\u2019inqui\u00e9tante, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 que cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration repr\u00e9sente l\u2019avenir du monde de l\u2019entreprise. Si les entreprises ne prennent pas d\u00e8s \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent des mesures contre le comportement immoral dans toutes les couches de l\u2019organisation, il existe un risque que ce type de comportement s\u2019amplifie \u00e0 l\u2019avenir.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Une parade technologique ?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>EY mentionne aussi que les employ\u00e9s se montrent plus loyaux envers leur propre d\u00e9partement et leur propre int\u00e9r\u00eat que celui de l\u2019entreprise dans son ensemble. En cons\u00e9quence, un tel ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne, combin\u00e9 \u00e0 un environnement de travail en mutation constante suite \u00e0 une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de la num\u00e9risation et de l\u2019automatisation, engendre une situation face \u00e0 laquelle les entreprises doivent instaurer de nouvelles proc\u00e9dures pour non seulement d\u00e9tecter mais \u00e9galement lutter contre les comportements ind\u00e9sirables.<\/p>\n<p>Outre la sensibilisation des travailleurs \u00e0 la pr\u00e9vention et, en cas de besoin, au signalement des comportements contraires \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9thique, il est important de mettre en place une technologie visant \u00e0 combattre les comportements qui d\u00e9passent les limites de l\u2019\u00e9thique. <em>\u00ab\u00a0La mondialisation croissante fait que les entreprises sont de plus en plus vuln\u00e9rables au vol ou \u00e0 la manipulation, y compris par leur propre personnel.
