Ind\u00e9pendamment de la composition du comit\u00e9 ex\u00e9cutif ou du conseil d\u2019administration, leurs membres doivent avoir des connaissances financi\u00e8res pointues, faire preuve de vision strat\u00e9gique et ma\u00eetriser tous les processus critiques de l\u2019entreprise. Ces futurs leaders sont unanimes: une connaissance approfondie l\u2019environnement concurrentiel et des nouveaux d\u00e9fis de la num\u00e9risation, de la disruption et de la cybers\u00e9curit\u00e9 sera un sine qua non pour l\u2019administrateur de demain. La prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de CEO se soucie particuli\u00e8rement du d\u00e9veloppement durable, de la protection de l\u2019environnement, de la digitalisation et la disruption, ainsi que des multiples sources d\u2019information \u00e0 ma\u00eetriser\u201d<\/em> explique Filip Lerno, managing partner chez Heidrick &amp; Struggles \u00e0 Bruxelles. <em>\u201dAujourd\u2019hui, la notion de \u2018leadership\u2019 englobe les capacit\u00e9s du team-building, de la transparence, de la communication et des interactions humaines, qui seront de plus en plus ancr\u00e9es dans le style de management. Tout est question de vrai leadership et non plus d&rsquo;\u00eatre \u2018le patron\u2019 comme jadis. L&rsquo;\u00e9go n&rsquo;a plus sa place dans la salle du conseil moderne.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Une vie \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude de Heidrick &amp; Struggles rel\u00e8ve que <em>\u00ab\u00a0les prochains leaders nourrissent de grandes ambitions tout en voulant mener une vie normale et \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e. Ils entretiennent des relations plus conviviales et sont conscients que leur r\u00f4le de dirigeant ne leur conf\u00e8re pas une position de sup\u00e9riorit\u00e9. Eux aussi, ils se voient monter au sommet de leur entreprise au bout de quelques ann\u00e9es. Grande diff\u00e9rence par contre: s\u2019ils s\u2019investissent avec passion dans la r\u00e9alisation de cet objectif, les jeunes dirigeants entendent bien r\u00e9server une place de choix \u00e0 leur vie de famille et \u00e0 entretenir leur sant\u00e9. La famille et les enfants ont davantage de valeur aux yeux de l\u2019actuelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de cadres. Le sport est vu comme une forme de \u201dself-management\u201d pour rester en bonne forme et relever au quotidien les d\u00e9fis professionnels, tant sur le plan physique qu\u2019au niveau mental. Par contre, adh\u00e9rer \u00e0 une association \u00e0 vocation culturelle a moins d\u2019importance aujourd\u2019hui.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Des d\u00e9fis toujours plus complexes.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les futurs dirigeants d\u2019entreprises accordent la priorit\u00e9 \u00e0 la num\u00e9risation des processus op\u00e9rationnels, du d\u00e9veloppement des produits et des canaux de vente, des domaines pour lesquels ils se sentent tr\u00e8s impliqu\u00e9s personnellement. La disruption fait que les business models sont mis en pi\u00e8ces \u00e0 une vitesse inconnue de la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de dirigeants. Les jeunes leaders sont tr\u00e8s conscients de l\u2019importance primordiale d\u2019introduire la rapidit\u00e9, la flexibilit\u00e9 et l\u2019agilit\u00e9 dans la salle du conseil et du comit\u00e9 ex\u00e9cutif. Un QI num\u00e9rique de haut niveau est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un des atouts indispensables des hommes et des femmes qui devront relever les d\u00e9fis de plus en plus complexes de l\u2019entreprise du 21\u00e8me si\u00e8cle. D\u00e9j\u00e0 maintenant les futurs leaders sont \u00e0 la recherche des moyens pour attirer les collaborateurs de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y et ouvrir l\u2019entreprise aux \u201cdigital natives\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Le vrai leader mobilise l\u2019organisation autour d\u2019une strat\u00e9gie et d\u2019une ambition convaincante. Il met en oeuvre et adapte la strat\u00e9gie de l\u2019entreprise, consolide les talents et les \u00e9quipes, renforce les comp\u00e9tences de l\u2019organisation et met en place des processus simples pour r\u00e9aliser la vision strat\u00e9gique. Puis, le leader est celui qui transforme. Il challenge l\u2019ordre \u00e9tabli et remet en question les perspectives traditionnelles sur l\u2019entreprise et ses march\u00e9s, tout en explorant les opportunit\u00e9s de changement disruptif.
