Les contrats courts et irr\u00e9guliers gagnent en popularit\u00e9 (20 % des nouveaux engagements, 4 points de pourcentage en plus qu\u2019avant la crise). Par rapport aux hommes, deux fois plus de femmes ont un contrat \u00e0 temps partiel ou flexible. Ces constats renforcent des situations d&rsquo;in\u00e9galit\u00e9 inqui\u00e9tantes sur le long terme.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>La politique de recrutement des entreprises belges semble rester marqu\u00e9e par la crise \u00e9conomique d\u00e9clench\u00e9e en 2008 : seule la moiti\u00e9 des travailleurs se voient offrir un contrat \u00e0 temps plein, d\u2019apr\u00e8s les conclusions du professeur Ludo Struyven et du chercheur Tim Goesaert du Leuvense Instituut voor Arbeid en Samenleving (HIVA KU Leuven). Ces derniers ont analys\u00e9 les quelque 600 000 recrutements sur le march\u00e9 du travail belge en 2015. <em>\u00ab\u00a0Les employeurs proposent de plus en plus souvent des contrats courts et irr\u00e9guliers. C\u2019est ce qu\u2019on appelle des travailleurs flexibles. Cela concerne un cinqui\u00e8me des engagements\u00a0\u00bb,<\/em> explique le professeur Struyven. \u00ab\u00a0<em>Recruter avec r\u00e9serve est caract\u00e9ristique d\u2019une p\u00e9riode de relance \u00e9conomique apr\u00e8s une profonde crise, mais il n\u2019y a pas que \u00e7a. Ces chiffres refl\u00e8tent une tendance structurelle d\u2019une \u00e9conomie en \u00e9volution qui a davantage besoin de diversit\u00e9 sur le march\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> Un tiers des recrutements concernent des contrats \u00e0 temps partiel, la moiti\u00e9 des nouveaux travailleurs b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d&rsquo;un contrat \u00e0 temps plein.<\/p>\n<p>Ce sont surtout les hommes qui peuvent travailler \u00e0 temps plein. <em>\u00ab\u00a0Dans les secteurs plus \u00ab masculins \u00bb tels que la construction, l\u2019industrie ou le secteur de l\u2019information et de la communication, nous observons jusqu\u2019\u00e0 90% de contrats \u00e0 temps plein (contre une moyenne de 49%)\u00a0\u00bb,<\/em> signale Tim Goesaert. Les femmes travaillent plus souvent \u00e0 temps partiel (47% contre une moyenne de 30 % de contrats \u00e0 temps partiel). <em>\u00ab\u00a0C\u2019est principalement d\u00fb \u00e0 l\u2019organisation du travail. Les \u00e9quipes fixes sont typiques dans les secteurs de la construction et de l\u2019industrie, tandis que l\u2019enseignement ou le secteur des soins de sant\u00e9 offre plus d\u2019opportunit\u00e9s de travail \u00e0 temps partiel.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>La Belgique r\u00e9ticente vis-\u00e0-vis des mini-jobs?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Un autre constat frappant dans cette \u00e9tude est que le nombre de petits contrats \u00e0 temps partiel (1\/3 d\u2019une semaine de travail normale) n\u2019augmente pas en Belgique\u00a0\u00bb,<\/em> explique Tim Goesaert.<em> \u00ab\u00a0Contrairement \u00e0 d\u2019autres pays en Europe comme l\u2019Allemagne, le Danemark ou l\u2019Autriche, o\u00f9 nous constatons une forte augmentation des petits contrats \u00e0 temps partiel sous la forme de mini-jobs par exemple.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><br \/>\nPar ailleurs, les chercheurs n\u2019ont pas constat\u00e9 de passage des contrats \u00e0 temps partiel \u00e0 des contrats 4\/5. Professeur Struyven : <em>\u00ab\u00a0Les gens travaillent de plus en plus souvent en 4\/5 par le biais d\u2019un r\u00e9gime de cong\u00e9s comme le cr\u00e9dit-temps ou le cong\u00e9 parental. En cas de recrutement, nous ne constatons pas de passage \u00e0 des contrats 4\/5 au d\u00e9triment des contrats \u00e0 mi-temps.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><br \/>\nPour cette \u00e9tude, les scientifiques se sont bas\u00e9s sur des donn\u00e9es brutes de l\u2019ONSS qui ont ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 corrig\u00e9es pour des modifications apparentes dans l\u2019emploi suite \u00e0 une fusion ou un changement de statut d\u2019une entreprise.
