









{"id":4841,"date":"2017-09-19T08:29:48","date_gmt":"2017-09-19T06:29:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.peoplesphere.be\/fr\/?p=4841"},"modified":"2017-09-19T08:29:48","modified_gmt":"2017-09-19T06:29:48","slug":"epic-partenariat-mondial-lutter-contre-linegalite-salariale-hommesfemmes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/peoplesphere.be\/fr\/epic-partenariat-mondial-lutter-contre-linegalite-salariale-hommesfemmes\/","title":{"rendered":"EPIC, un partenariat mondial pour lutter contre l&rsquo;in\u00e9galit\u00e9 salariale hommes\/femmes."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Depuis New York et la concertation entre l&rsquo;ONU, l&rsquo;OIT et l&rsquo;OCDE, une nouvelle initiative va encourager les politiques innovantes et les pratiques efficaces pour l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 salariale hommes-femmes \u00e0 travers le monde.\u00a0L\u2019EPIC est une r\u00e9ponse mondiale \u00e0 un grave probl\u00e8me qui est \u00e9lev\u00e9 au rang de priorit\u00e9 dans les Objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable (ODD) de l\u2019ONU , en particulier la Cible 8.5 qui appelle \u00e0 garantir un salaire \u00e9gal pour un travail de valeur \u00e9gale d\u2019ici \u00e0 2030.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019un des obstacles les plus tenaces \u00e0 la r\u00e9ussite des femmes et \u00e0 la croissance \u00e9conomique, l\u2019in\u00e9galit\u00e9 salariale, va \u00eatre activement combattu par un nouveau partenariat mondial, la Coalition internationale sur la r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration \u00e9gale (EPIC en anglais). Avec le lancement d\u2019EPIC, l\u2019Organisation internationale du Travail (OIT), ONU Femmes et l\u2019Organisation de coop\u00e9ration et de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomiques (OCDE) rassemblent divers acteurs aux niveaux mondial, r\u00e9gional et national pour aider les gouvernements, les employeurs et les travailleurs et leurs organisations, et d\u2019autres parties prenantes, \u00e0 faire de l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 salariale entre hommes et femmes pour un travail de valeur \u00e9gale une r\u00e9alit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abL\u2019une des manifestations les plus visibles, tangibles et r\u00e9pandues de la discrimination, c\u2019est qu\u2019\u00e0 travers le monde les femmes sont toujours moins bien r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9es que les hommes pour un travail de valeur \u00e9gale. C\u2019est pour cette raison qu\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e l\u2019initiative sur la r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration \u00e9gale et qu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019un domaine prioritaire de l\u2019Initiative du centenaire de l\u2019OIT sur les femmes au travail. Le principe d\u2019un salaire \u00e9gal pour un travail de valeur \u00e9gale est inscrit dans la Constitution de l\u2019OIT de 1919. Cent ans d\u2019attente, c\u2019est bien trop long; nous devons tous \u0153uvrer ensemble pour faire du salaire \u00e9gal pour un travail de valeur \u00e9gale une r\u00e9alit\u00e9\u00bb<\/em>, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Guy Ryder, Directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l\u2019OIT.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des r\u00e9mun\u00e9rations, en plus de l\u2019autonomisation des femmes, peut avoir un impact consid\u00e9rable pour r\u00e9aliser d\u2019autres objectifs, \u00e0 savoir promouvoir des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s inclusives, r\u00e9duire la pauvret\u00e9, cr\u00e9er les conditions du travail d\u00e9cent et de l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des sexes.<\/p>\n<p>Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, Directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de l\u2019ONU Femmes, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9: \u00ab<em>Rien ne justifie l\u2019in\u00e9galit\u00e9 salariale pour une femme quand elle exerce un travail d\u2019\u00e9gale valeur \u00e0 celui d\u2019un homme. Cette injustice est ignor\u00e9e depuis trop longtemps et, ensemble, nous allons y mettre un terme. L\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 de r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration pour les femmes se traduit par des b\u00e9n\u00e9fices tout au long de la vie pour elles et pour leurs familles: de meilleures perspectives de carri\u00e8re et de gains tout au long de la vie, une plus grande ind\u00e9pendance, davantage d\u2019investissements dans l\u2019\u00e9ducation et la sant\u00e9 de leurs enfants\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Les employeurs et les syndicats, ainsi que d\u2019autres acteurs concern\u00e9s, auront un r\u00f4le central \u00e0 jouer dans l\u2019application et le d\u00e9ploiement des politiques en faveur de l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 de r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration. Une Plateforme des champions, lanc\u00e9e en d\u00e9but d\u2019ann\u00e9e par l\u2019ONU Femmes lors de la Commission de la condition de la femme, va \u00e9galement contribuer \u00e0 renforcer la mobilisation en faveur de l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 salariale, dans le cadre de l\u2019EPIC.<\/p>\n<p>Un r\u00e9cent rapport OIT-Gallup , s\u2019appuyant sur un sondage repr\u00e9sentatif effectu\u00e9 dans 142 pays, montre qu\u2019hommes et femmes souhaitent indiff\u00e9remment que les femmes aient acc\u00e8s \u00e0 un emploi r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9 mais il reste toute une s\u00e9rie de d\u00e9fis \u00e0 surmonter pour les femmes au travail, dont l\u2019in\u00e9galit\u00e9 salariale, l\u2019\u00e9quilibre entre travail et responsabilit\u00e9s familiales, la difficult\u00e9 d\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des modes de garde abordables et l\u2019in\u00e9galit\u00e9 de traitement.<\/p>\n<p>Angel Gurr\u00eda, Secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l\u2019OCDE, a relev\u00e9 que <em>\u00ables in\u00e9galit\u00e9s entre les sexes ont de nombreuses causes, qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse de politiques inad\u00e9quates, de lois et de r\u00e9glementations discriminatoires, d\u2019incitations \u00e9conomiques inefficaces, des pratiques professionnelles, des normes et institutions sociales\u00bb<\/em>. Il a affirm\u00e9: <em>\u00abIl est de notre ressort d\u2019am\u00e9liorer imm\u00e9diatement la qualit\u00e9 de vie de centaines de millions de femmes, et de leurs familles, si nous r\u00e9ussissons \u00e0 obtenir l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 de r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration entre hommes et femmes\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>La question de la r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration \u00e9gale figure toujours en t\u00eate des priorit\u00e9s des Nations Unies.
