Dans le processus d\u2019innovation, le r\u00f4le des employ\u00e9s est primordial. Ce sont souvent les employ\u00e9s qui constatent les probl\u00e8mes et d\u00e9veloppent des id\u00e9es et des propositions en vue de faciliter l&rsquo;innovation. Or, l&rsquo;ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l&#8217;emploi, de plus en plus marqu\u00e9e, est de nature \u00e0 freiner l&rsquo;innovation.<!--more--><\/div>\n<p>On nous dit que la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 d&#8217;emploi est une chose du pass\u00e9. Le march\u00e9 du travail contemporain est caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 par une incertitude croissante au niveau de la stabilit\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi. Dans le cadre du projet VIGOR, des chercheurs de la KU Leuven (Stan Le Spiegelaere, Guy Van Gyes, Hans De Witte, Wendy Niesen et Geert Van Hootegem) ont \u00e9tudi\u00e9 la relation entre la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 d&#8217;emploi et le comportement innovateur des employ\u00e9s. Les r\u00e9sultats ont r\u00e9cemment \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9s dans la revue internationale Creativity and Innovation Management. <\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9tude montre que l&rsquo;ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l&#8217;emploi et l&rsquo;innovation des employ\u00e9s ne vont pas de pair. Stan De Spiegelaere (HIVA &#8211; Institut de recherche sur le travail et la soci\u00e9t\u00e9) explique: \u00ab\u00a0<em>Notre \u00e9tude montre que les employ\u00e9s qui se sentent incertains concernant la stabilit\u00e9 de leur emploi, sont moins innovants dans leur travail. Ils d\u00e9veloppent moins d\u2019id\u00e9es et proposent moins de mesures pour l\u2019am\u00e9lioration du travail. Ils sont \u00e9galement moins engag\u00e9s et passionn\u00e9s par leur travail. Proposer des id\u00e9es novatrices n&rsquo;est pas toujours appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;organisation. Il y a toujours quelqu&rsquo;un qui n&rsquo;aime pas la nouvelle id\u00e9e et cela peut causer des frictions. Quelqu&rsquo;un qui n&rsquo;est pas s\u00fbr de son emploi ne prend pas un tel risque. L&rsquo;innovation est aussi un processus \u00e0 long terme. Si vous n\u2019\u00eates pas s\u00fbr de pouvoir cueillir les fruits de votre travail, vous serez moins pr\u00eat \u00e0 faire de tels investissements.<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb <\/p>\n<p>Les employ\u00e9s dans des emplois pr\u00e9caires sont donc moins enclins \u00e0 contribuer \u00e0 des projets innovants. Mais il y a plus. Ces employ\u00e9s n&rsquo;ont souvent pas non plus l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de le faire. De Spiegelaere: \u00ab\u00a0<em>Nous voyons clairement que les travailleurs occupant des emplois pr\u00e9caires sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement beaucoup moins autonomes dans leur travail. Chez eux, le travail se limite plus souvent \u00e0 l\u2019ex\u00e9cution de t\u00e2ches prescrites. L\u2019autonomie au travail est pourtant un incitant important du comportement innovateur des employ\u00e9s. Ceci permet aux employ\u00e9s d\u2019exp\u00e9rimenter avec des nouvelles m\u00e9thodes et de les d\u00e9velopper. L&rsquo;ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l&#8217;emploi enl\u00e8ve non seulement la motivation d\u2019innover, mais elle prive aussi les travailleurs de leur capacit\u00e9 d\u2019innovation.<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb <\/p>\n<p>Parall\u00e8lement, les chercheurs remarquent que le comportement innovateur des employ\u00e9s d\u00e9pend principalement du contenu du travail et de la mesure dans laquelle les employ\u00e9s ont la libert\u00e9 d&rsquo;exp\u00e9rimenter avec des nouvelles m\u00e9thodes et approches de leur travail.
