Pourtant, selon les chiffres communiqu\u00e9s ce lundi sur base des donn\u00e9es de l&rsquo;INAMI, 28.000 travailleurs belges souffrent de burn out, alors que 16 mois plus t\u00f4t &#8211; en septembre 2016, le nombre \u00e9tait estim\u00e9 \u00e0 80.000!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Ne minimisons pas la port\u00e9e d&rsquo;un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne bien concret dans nos organisations. Toutefois, la m\u00e9fiance est de rigueur vis-\u00e0-vis des statistiques. En effet, en septembre 2016, les m\u00e9dia annon\u00e7aient que, selon l&rsquo;INAMI toujours, 80.000 Belges souffriraient chaque ann\u00e9e de burn-out, m\u00eame s&rsquo;ils pr\u00e9cisaient qu&rsquo;il n\u2019y a pas encore de statistiques r\u00e9ellement fiables en la mati\u00e8re. Le nombre de cas aurait-il chut\u00e9 entre-temps. N\u00e9gatif, \u00e9videmment !<\/p>\n<p>Nous avions insist\u00e9 d\u00e9j\u00e0 en d\u00e9cembre 2016 sur le caract\u00e8re saisonnier de ces chiffres (voir ici : <a href=\"http:\/\/www.peoplesphere.be\/fr\/les-chiffres-du-burn-out-un-phenomene-saisonnier\/\">http:\/\/www.peoplesphere.be\/fr\/les-chiffres-du-burn-out-un-phenomene-saisonnier\/<\/a>). Il est piquant de constater que les chiffres annonc\u00e9s en 2007 (29.000 cas environ) sont pass\u00e9s \u00e0 plus de 80.000 en 2014, pour revenir \u00e0 hauteur de 28.000 donc en ce d\u00e9but d&rsquo;ann\u00e9e 2018. Ces variances n&rsquo;ont pas grand sens, et surtout aucune valeur scientifique. Que constate-t-on ? Une grande confusion dans la qualit\u00e9 des diagnostics (burn out ou d\u00e9pression ?) et en cons\u00e9quence sans doute, un faible taux de gu\u00e9rison en vue d&rsquo;un retour au travail dans de bonnes conditions en vue d&rsquo;un meilleur \u00e9panouissement professionnel.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>La reconnaissance du burn out comme maladie professionnelle, la solution?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Si le secteur de la sant\u00e9 a longtemps connu une plus forte pr\u00e9valence de burn-out, aucune profession n\u2019y \u00e9chappe r\u00e9ellement aujourd\u2019hui\u00a0\u00bb, affirme aujourd&rsquo;hui Fran\u00e7ois Perl, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du service indemnit\u00e9s de l\u2019Inami, via le quotidien Le Soir.<\/p>\n<p>Plus surprenant, ce dernier affirme que <em>\u00ab\u00a0l\u2019\u00e9pid\u00e9mie progresse d\u2019ailleurs \u00e0 grands pas. Ainsi, le co\u00fbt de l\u2019incapacit\u00e9 de travail est estim\u00e9 par l\u2019Inami \u00e0 7,1 milliards d\u2019euros en 2017, et parmi les quatre cent mille personnes indemnis\u00e9es, environ 7 % souffrent de burn-out (soit 28.000 cas) et 15 % de d\u00e9pression. Il faut d\u2019ailleurs envisager ces deux pathologies ensemble : le burn-out et la d\u00e9pression ont \u00e9volu\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on parall\u00e8le ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, et l\u2019une est encore souvent diagnostiqu\u00e9e \u00e0 la place de l\u2019autre\u2026 Cette confusion a conduit, pendant plusieurs ann\u00e9es, \u00e0 une impr\u00e9cision statistique de taille : entre 2010 et 2015, le nombre de burn-out a certes doubl\u00e9, mais de nombreux burn-out \u00e9taient, \u00e0 tort, class\u00e9s dans la cat\u00e9gorie &lsquo;d\u00e9pression&rsquo;.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En septembre 2016 d\u00e9j\u00e0, les experts reconnaissaient via la RTBF que\u00a0<em>\u00ab\u00a0le burn-out divise encore le monde m\u00e9dical et il y a d\u00e9bat autour de sa reconnaissance. Certains estiment que ce n\u2019est pas une maladie mentale. Les sympt\u00f4mes d\u2019un burn-out sont tr\u00e8s nombreux: manque de courage, incapacit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019effort, fatigue.. En fait, il existe 176 sympt\u00f4mes reconnus d\u2019un burn-out. Il peut alors \u00eatre difficile d&rsquo;\u00e9tablir un diagnostic fiable. D\u2019apr\u00e8s le psychiatre Andr\u00e9 de Nayer, le terme \u00ab\u00a0burn-out\u00a0\u00bb est aussi victime de son succ\u00e8s m\u00e9diatique : \u00ab\u00a0J\u2019ai des gens qui viennent me dire : je fais des efforts pour l\u2019instant, j\u2019ai peur de m\u2019\u00e9puiser. J\u2019ai vu que si j\u2019allais au-del\u00e0 d\u2019une certaine force, j\u2019allais tomber dans une sorte de gouffre.
