Pourtant, une \u00e9tude fran\u00e7aise \u00e9value son co\u00fbt entre 14 et 25 milliards d\u2019euros par an.<!--more--><\/div>\n<p>Plus sournois et co\u00fbteux que l\u2019absent\u00e9isme, le pr\u00e9sent\u00e9isme semble \u00eatre le nouveau fl\u00e9au des bureaux. Ce terme, apparu en Am\u00e9rique du Nord, \u00e9voque des salari\u00e9s tr\u00e8s-trop- pr\u00e9sents physiquement, mais pas productifs pour autant. Champions des heures suppl\u00e9mentaires, au bureau m\u00eame malades, les pr\u00e9sent\u00e9istes ne permettent pourtant pas \u00e0 l\u2019entreprise d\u2019\u00e9voluer positivement.<\/p>\n<h2>Qui sont-ils ?<\/h2>\n<p>Consid\u00e9r\u00e9 parfois comme l\u2019inverse de l\u2019absent\u00e9isme, le pr\u00e9sent\u00e9isme recouvre une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 plus subtile et plus diverse. Selon l\u2019Association nationale fran\u00e7aise pour l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des conditions de travail (Anact), trois d\u00e9finitions coexistent. D\u2019abord, ce terme \u00e9voque une pr\u00e9sence \u00ab paradoxale \u00bb sur le lieu de travail, sans engagement et sans \u00eatre compl\u00e8tement en possession de ses moyens. On parle alors de d\u00e9mission int\u00e9rieure. Ce terme s\u2019applique aussi aux personnes pr\u00e9sentes de mani\u00e8re excessive au travail qui, \u00e0 force de d\u00e9passer les horaires ou de travailler les soirs et week-ends, n\u2019ont plus de fronti\u00e8re entre vie priv\u00e9e et professionnelle. Enfin, le pr\u00e9sent\u00e9isme fait aussi allusion aux personnes en mauvaise sant\u00e9 qui continuent de venir travailler par peur de perdre leur emploi ou par solidarit\u00e9 avec leurs coll\u00e8gues qui pourraient se retrouver avec une surcharge de travail.<\/p>\n<h2>Cons\u00e9quences sur la productivit\u00e9<\/h2>\n<p>Dans nos soci\u00e9t\u00e9s, o\u00f9 la culture de la pr\u00e9sence excessive est forte, les entreprises se focalisent souvent sur les absences comme indicateur de sant\u00e9 et de qualit\u00e9 de vie au travail. Pourtant, Thierry Rousseau, charg\u00e9 de mission du d\u00e9partement Changements technologiques et organisationnels de l\u2019Anact, pr\u00e9cise : <em>\u00ab Dans des organisations caract\u00e9ris\u00e9es par de forts contenus technologiques, l\u2019automatisation et les rapports de service, la performance ne repose que partiellement sur la pr\u00e9sence effective des personnes. Un salari\u00e9 faisant preuve de pr\u00e9sent\u00e9isme serait m\u00eame moins productif \u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Quel co\u00fbt pour l\u2019entreprise ?<\/h2>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude men\u00e9e en France et conduite par le chercheur Matthieu Poirot, expert en qualit\u00e9 de vie, montre que si le taux d\u2019absent\u00e9isme en France \u00e9tait de 4,53% en 2012, le taux th\u00e9orique de pr\u00e9sent\u00e9isme \u00e9tait lui compris entre 6,34% et 9% de la masse salariale.
