L\u2019offre de transports publics y est insuffisante. Il y a d\u00e9finitivement trop de voitures dans notre capitale.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Le Moniteur Automobile reprend le processus d&rsquo;enqu\u00eate : quatre chercheurs de l\u2019Institut Wuppertal (Allemagne) ont proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019analyse des donn\u00e9es de 13 villes europ\u00e9ennes \u00e0 la demande de Greenpeace. Parmi les nomin\u00e9s, il y avait Berlin, Londres, Vienne, Moscou, Rome, Z\u00fcrich, Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhague, Oslo, Budapest, Madrid et Bruxelles. Le rapport a pris en compte 21 indicateurs regroup\u00e9s en cinq cat\u00e9gories : la performance des transports publics, la mobilit\u00e9 active, la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 routi\u00e8re, la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019air et la gestion publique de la mobilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Sauv\u00e9e par la qualit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;air !<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bruxelles est class\u00e9 \u00e0 la huiti\u00e8me place sur treize. Ce qui ne semble a priori pas si catastrophique, mais ce r\u00e9sultat s\u2019explique surtout par une excellente qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019air qui fait remonter notre ville dans le classement. Car notre capitale se classe syst\u00e9matiquement dans les cinq derniers pour toutes les autres cat\u00e9gories : 9\u00e8me en mobilit\u00e9 active, 10\u00e8me en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 routi\u00e8re, 11\u00e8me en transport public ou en gestion de la mobilit\u00e9. Pas terrible donc d\u2019autant que Greenpeace continue de soutenir que les autorit\u00e9s bruxelloise mesurent mal la pollution et que de ce fait, notre classement actuel est sans doute un peu optimiste.<\/p>\n<p>Greenpeace d\u00e9cerne les palmes aux premiers de classe.\u00a0Sans surprise, c\u2019est Copenhague, Amsterdam, Oslo, Z\u00fcrich puis Vienne. Des villes qui ont mis le paquet sur les modes de transport actifs (v\u00e9lo, marche) tout comme sur les transport public. Il est \u00e9vident que Greenpeace a une id\u00e9e derri\u00e8re la t\u00eate avec cette \u00e9tude, \u00e0 savoir acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer les politiques de d\u00e9veloppement durable de nos villes sachant que <em>\u00ab\u00a0L\u2019Europe ne cesse de s\u2019urbaniser. De 73 % aujourd\u2019hui, la part de la population des villes devrait passer \u00e0 80 % en 2050, selon les pr\u00e9visions des Nations unies\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>. En Belgique, il y a donc beaucoup \u00e0 faire car la voiture reste dominante \u00e0 Bruxelles (44 % de part contre 15,8 % \u00e0 Paris, 20 % \u00e0 Amsterdam, 25 % \u00e0 Z\u00fcrich 26 % \u00e0 Madrid, 30 % \u00e0 Berlin, 31 % \u00e0 Budapest). Les chercheurs pointent plusieurs raisons \u00e0 cet engouement automobile: une grande part de navetteurs, le prix trop faible des stationnement et&#8230; la politique men\u00e9e pour les voitures de soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Raison de plus sans doute pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la mise en place de la zone de basse \u00e9missions (LEZ), ce que le Ministre bruxellois de la Mobilit\u00e9, Pascal Smet (SP.A), compte effectivement faire dans une interview donn\u00e9e \u00e0 nos confr\u00e8res du Soir. <em>\u00ab\u00a0Faire de Bruxelles une ville \u00e0 taille humaine, et plus une ville \u00e0 taille automobile\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> indique le rapport de l\u2019Institut allemand qui a comptabilis\u00e9 que 45 d\u00e9placements sur 100 \u00e9taient effectu\u00e9s en voiture. Le carton rouge car seul Rome fait pire.
