Dans le domaine des discriminations li\u00e9es \u00e0 la grossesse et \u00e0 la maternit\u00e9 dans des situations professionnelles, le nombre de signalements a doubl\u00e9. Cette augmentation confirme l\u2019impact de la campagne &lsquo;Maman reste \u00e0 bord&rsquo;, lanc\u00e9e en octobre 2017 dans le but d\u2019informer les (futures) m\u00e8res des discriminations li\u00e9es \u00e0 la grossesse et \u00e0 la maternit\u00e9 au travail et de leurs droits en tant que travailleuses.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>En 2017, parmi les signalements re\u00e7us par l\u2019Institut pour l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des femmes et des hommes, plus d\u2019un sur cinq concernait la grossesse et la maternit\u00e9. Ce nombre a doubl\u00e9 par rapport \u00e0 2016. Pr\u00e8s de la moiti\u00e9 de ces signalements (43%) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 re\u00e7us les trois derniers mois de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, ce qui correspond \u00e0 la p\u00e9riode et \u00e0 la dur\u00e9e de la campagne \u00ab Maman reste \u00e0 bord \u00bb. L\u2019Institut a lanc\u00e9 cette campagne en octobre 2017 afin de sensibiliser les femmes enceintes ou d\u00e9sireuses de l\u2019\u00eatre et celles ayant r\u00e9cemment accouch\u00e9, \u00e0 propos de leurs droits.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Souvent, les femmes ont elles-m\u00eames int\u00e9gr\u00e9 les st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes de genre et accept\u00e9 par la force des choses l\u2019id\u00e9e que la grossesse et la maternit\u00e9 sont des freins pour leur carri\u00e8re. C\u2019est pourquoi peu d\u2019entre elles osent faire respecter leurs droits. La campagne \u00ab Maman reste \u00e0 bord \u00bb est donc une r\u00e9ussite car elle a permis de conscientiser de nombreuses victimes sur leurs droits et de lutter ainsi contre le sous-rapportage de plaintes\u00a0\u00bb,<\/em> d\u00e9clare Michel Pasteel, Directeur de l\u2019Institut pour l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des femmes et des hommes. <em>\u00ab\u00a0Selon nous, cela montre qu\u2019il faut continuer \u00e0 investir dans la sensibilisation pour lutter plus efficacement encore contre les discriminations et promouvoir davantage l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 de genre.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Signalements en 2017<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En 2017, l\u2019Institut a re\u00e7u 736 signalements, parmi lesquels 315 demandes d\u2019informations, 295 plaintes et 126 communications. Par rapport \u00e0 2016, le nombre total de signalements a augment\u00e9 de 34%. La tendance \u00e0 la hausse observ\u00e9e ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es se poursuit.<\/p>\n<p>Une plainte \u00e9mane d\u2019une personne qui estime \u00eatre elle-m\u00eame victime d\u2019une discrimination. Une demande d\u2019information concerne l\u2019application et la port\u00e9e de la l\u00e9gislation visant \u00e0 promouvoir l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des femmes et des hommes. Lorsqu\u2019une personne signale une infraction \u00e0 la l\u00e9gislation dont elle n\u2019est pas victime elle-m\u00eame, il s\u2019agit d\u2019une communication.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Autres th\u00e9matiques<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>En 2017, le nombre de signalements concernant le sexisme a tripl\u00e9 par rapport \u00e0 2016. L\u2019attention m\u00e9diatique accord\u00e9e au mouvement #metoo a tr\u00e8s probablement jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le majeur dans cette augmentation. On assiste aujourd\u2019hui \u00e0 une r\u00e9elle prise de conscience de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 quant aux diff\u00e9rentes formes de sexisme.<\/p>\n<p>En 2017, pr\u00e8s d\u2019un signalement sur 10 concernait des discriminations \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard des personnes transgenres (11%). En comparaison avec 2016, cela repr\u00e9sente une augmentation de 8%.<\/p>\n<p>Pr\u00e8s d\u2019un cinqui\u00e8me des signalements re\u00e7us en 2017 par l\u2019Institut (19%) concernait les discriminations li\u00e9es au genre dans l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 ou l\u2019offre de biens et de services.
