Elle consacre le retour \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re position des Etats-Unis, qui d\u00e9tr\u00f4nent Hong Kong. Le top 5 est compl\u00e9t\u00e9 par Singapour, nos voisins des Pays-Bas et la Suisse. La Belgique recule malheureusement et n&rsquo;occupe que la 26\u00e8me place.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Le rapport met en \u00e9vidence une tendance lourde qui se confirme ann\u00e9e apr\u00e8s ann\u00e9e. Les pays figurant dans les premi\u00e8res positions du classement ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une approche sp\u00e9cifique en vue d&rsquo;accro\u00eetre leur\u00a0comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9. Si les Etats-Unis ont grimp\u00e9 de 3 \u00e9chelons pour retrouver le sommet du classement, ils le doivent \u00e0 leurs performances \u00e9conomiques globales et \u00e0 la qualit\u00e9 de leurs infrastructures. Hong Kong mise de son c\u00f4t\u00e9 sur l&rsquo;efficience de son secteur public. La Suisse recule \u00e0 la 5\u00e8me place suite \u00e0 un ralentissement de ses exportations et \u00e0 la crainte d&rsquo;un mouvement de d\u00e9localisation des centres de R&amp;D.\u00a0Les pays scandinaves trustent les positions au sein du top 10: le Danemark (6\u00e8me), la Norv\u00e8ge (8\u00e8me) et la Su\u00e8de (9\u00e8me) affichent en effet de solides performances en mati\u00e8re de productivit\u00e9 du secteur priv\u00e9 et de qualit\u00e9 des pratiques manag\u00e9riales.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Focus sur l&rsquo;Europe<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Les pays d&rsquo;Europe de l&rsquo;Est sont globalement en progression. La Pologne, la Slov\u00e9nie et la Hongrie progressent de fa\u00e7on int\u00e9ressante, via notamment la croissance de leurs exportations et l&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration de leur niveau d&rsquo;endettement public.<\/p>\n<p>Les \u00e9conomies occidentales suivent une courbe plut\u00f4t oppos\u00e9e. La plupart de nos pays sont en recul. L&rsquo;Irlande et le Luxembourg perdent respectivement 6 et 3 places. L&rsquo;Allemagne (15\u00e8me), la Finlande (16\u00e8me), le Royaume Uni (20\u00e8me), l&rsquo;Islande (24\u00e8me), la Belgique (26\u00e8me), l&rsquo;Espagne (36\u00e8me) et Chypre (41\u00e8me) r\u00e9gressent dans le classement.<\/p>\n<p>Concernant la Belgique, trois indicateurs poussent le pays\u00a0vers le haut du classement\u00a0: le cadre soci\u00e9tal notamment en mati\u00e8re de coh\u00e9sion sociale et d\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des genres (7<sup>e<\/sup> place du classement), l\u2019enseignement (2<sup>e<\/sup> place) et le commerce international (12<sup>e<\/sup> place). Les dirigeants d\u2019entreprise ayant particip\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019enqu\u00eate citent comme atouts principaux d\u2019attractivit\u00e9 de la Belgique\u00a0: une main-d\u2019\u0153uvre qualifi\u00e9e, un haut niveau d\u2019\u00e9ducation, et une culture forte de R&amp;D.<\/p>\n<p>Les points n\u00e9gatifs se retrouvent dans les cinq challenges \u00e0 relever\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>S\u2019attaquer au probl\u00e8me de \u2018mismatch\u2019 sur le march\u00e9 du travail\u00a0;<\/li>\n<li>Augmenter l\u2019investissement (public) dans les infrastructures (de mobilit\u00e9)\u00a0;<\/li>\n<li>Continuer \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts du travail afin de les ramener au niveau de ceux de nos partenaires commerciaux principaux\u00a0;<\/li>\n<li>Rendre les pouvoirs publics plus efficients\u00a0;<\/li>\n<li>Diminuer significativement les charges administratives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A proximit\u00e9 de nos fronti\u00e8res, la France (28), le Portugal (33) et l&rsquo;Italie (42) am\u00e9liorent leur position au sein du classement. La mont\u00e9e du Portugal b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie entre autres d&rsquo;un regard positif sur l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 de ses institutions et la transparence des autorit\u00e9s gouvernementales.<\/p>\n<p><em>Le groupe de recherche &lsquo;World Competitiveness Center&rsquo; de l&rsquo;IMD publie ce classement depuis 1989.
