La RSE permet de motiver les collaborateurs, d\u2019attirer de nouveaux talents, de convaincre les clients et de r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts. Une formule magique qui peut susciter quelques doutes mais qui m\u00e9rite certainement que nous nous y attardions.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>En Belgique \u00e9galement, le d\u00e9veloppement durable est donc plus qu\u2019une mode.\u00a0Le\u00a0CSR Monitor 2018 est une \u00e9tude sur la vision et l\u2019approche en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9veloppement durable, r\u00e9alis\u00e9e aupr\u00e8s de 640 entreprises belges. Quels en sont les principaux enseignements?<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par Maison des Tendances indique que\u00a0<em>\u00ab\u00a0la RSE est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e, par de nombreuses entreprises belges, comme le business model de l\u2019avenir. Outre le fait que 75% des entreprises pensent qu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019un investissement rentable, 68% d\u2019entre elles estiment que la RSE est essentielle pour subsister dans un environnement en \u00e9volution constante. Les grandes entreprises en sont un peu plus convaincues (73%) que les PME (66%). A contrario, beaucoup moins d\u2019entreprises estiment que la RSE n\u2019est int\u00e9ressante que pour leur image (23%) ou qu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne temporaire (13%).\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>La perception du d\u00e9veloppement durable semble donc \u00e9voluer : autrefois consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un pur co\u00fbt pour l\u2019entreprise, il est de plus en plus per\u00e7u comme un investissement rentable. <em>\u00ab\u00a0Seuls 39% des 640 CEO et managers ayant compl\u00e9t\u00e9 int\u00e9gralement l\u2019enqu\u00eate consid\u00e8rent encore la RSE comme un co\u00fbt additionnel pour leur entreprise. Et 43% craignent que ce co\u00fbt se reporte sur leurs clients.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Quel retour sur investissement?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Le CSR Monitor a \u00e9galement interrog\u00e9 les entreprises sur les fruits qu\u2019ils r\u00e9coltaient ou pensaient r\u00e9colter de leurs investissements en RSE. <em>\u00ab\u00a0L\u2019apport de la RSE se manifeste en premier lieu au niveau des ressources humaines : 70% des personnes interrog\u00e9es consid\u00e8rent que le d\u00e9veloppement durable est source de motivation pour les collaborateurs et 62% estiment qu\u2019il permet d\u2019attirer de nouveaux talents. La RSE pourrait donc devenir une arme de pr\u00e9dilection dans la \u00ab chasse aux talents \u00bb. Les entreprises y voient \u00e9galement des avantages \u00e9conomiques. 59% d\u2019entre elles d\u00e9clarent que la RSE est devenue un crit\u00e8re d\u2019achat pour leurs clients et 57% qu\u2019elle permet de r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Lors des conclusions, l\u2019\u00e9tude a segment\u00e9 les entreprises en trois groupes. Le segment le plus important (avec 54%) est celui des \u00ab CSR believers \u00bb, les entreprises qui croient au potentiel de la RSE. Celles-ci consid\u00e8rent que la RSE est la seule fa\u00e7on de progresser. Elles d\u00e9veloppent leurs activit\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re durable &#8211; ou souhaitent le faire &#8211; par conviction. En pourcentage, la Flandre compte davantage de \u00ab believers \u00bb (60%) que Bruxelles (55%) ou la Wallonie (37%).<\/p>\n<p>Les 29% qui envisagent la RSE de fa\u00e7on pragmatique &#8211; les \u00ab CSR pragmatics \u00bb &#8211; y investissent parce qu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019une attente de la part de leurs clients et de la communaut\u00e9 qui les entoure. Ils r\u00e9alisent que la RSE peut renforcer leur image de marque, mais la consid\u00e8rent aussi plus souvent comme un co\u00fbt additionnel. Le secteur industriel (39%) et la Wallonie (44%) comptent proportionnellement davantage de pragmatiques.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, les entreprises passives en mati\u00e8re de RSE &#8211; les \u00ab CSR passives \u00bb &#8211; repr\u00e9sentent, avec 17%, le plus petit segment. Elles ne croient pas \u00e0 la RSE \u00e0 long terme et estiment que le d\u00e9veloppement durable est un concept appel\u00e9 \u00e0 dispara\u00eetre rapidement.
