Mais nous devons nous interroger quant \u00e0 la pertinence de certaines repr\u00e9sentations et de nos comportements manag\u00e9riaux&#8230;<!--more--><\/div>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0C&rsquo;est la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u2018si c&rsquo;est \u00e7a la vie, alors je mange le dessert d&rsquo;abord\u2019<\/em>, explique Christine Charlotin, consultante dans les colonnes du Monde. <em>Les fameux enfants rois de Fran\u00e7oise Dolto. On a voulu qu&rsquo;ils soient \u00e9panouis. On leur a donn\u00e9 plus d&rsquo;amour que d&rsquo;\u00e9ducation et de r\u00e8gles. Depuis 1996, les gar\u00e7ons ne font plus leur service militaire. Mais ce sont aussi les enfants du divorce, de grands sensibles. Ils ont eu l&rsquo;habitude d&rsquo;\u00eatre \u00e9cout\u00e9s, cajol\u00e9s. Leur \u00e9ducation leur a donn\u00e9 une bonne image d&rsquo;eux-m\u00eames.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> <em>\u00ab\u00a0Avant, on inculquait aux enfants l&rsquo;id\u00e9e d&rsquo;avoir une bonne situation professionnelle, maintenant, on leur dit d&rsquo;\u00eatre heureux<\/em>, r\u00e9sume Francis Boyer (formateur &#8211; \u00e0 retrouver dans votre Peoplesphere du mois de novembre 2014 consacr\u00e9 au d\u00e9veloppement organisationnel). <em>Vos probl\u00e8mes personnels, vous aviez appris \u00e0 les laisser au vestiaire. Un jeune qui vous explique qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;arrive pas \u00e0 bosser parce qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;est disput\u00e9 avec sa nana, vous ne pouvez pas lui r\u00e9pondre \u00ab\u00a0on s&rsquo;en fout\u00a0\u00bb, ce serait pris pour du harc\u00e8lement&#8230;\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Confront\u00e9s \u00e0 la brutalit\u00e9 du march\u00e9\u2026<\/h2>\n<p>Comment g\u00e9rer de mani\u00e8re optimale cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration paradoxale? Est-il n\u00e9cessaire d\u2019ailleurs d\u2019adopter une strat\u00e9gie ou des tactiques sp\u00e9cifiques? Quelques certitudes \u00e9mergent d\u00e9j\u00e0 :<br \/>\n* la consigne et l\u2019injonction ne fonctionnent pas.<br \/>\n* admettre le droit \u00e0 l\u2019erreur<br \/>\n* envoyer des feedbacks imm\u00e9diats<br \/>\n* offrir de la flexibilit\u00e9 et de la libert\u00e9 quant \u00e0 la gestion du temps de travail<\/p>\n<p>Le philosophe Michel Serres dans Petite Poucette, son dernier livre, \u00e9voque la brutalit\u00e9 du march\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi pour expliquer le d\u00e9tachement de cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration vis-\u00e0-vis de l&rsquo;entreprise : <em>\u00a0\u00bb Petite Poucette cherche du travail. Et quand elle en trouve, elle continue d&rsquo;en chercher, tant elle sait qu&rsquo;elle peut, du jour au lendemain, perdre celui qu&rsquo;elle vient de d\u00e9nicher. \u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Des caract\u00e9ristiques propres \u00e0 la jeunesse tout simplement<\/h2>\n<p>L\u2019insolence, l\u2019impertinence, la dillution du principe de respect\u2026 Le Monde repr\u00e9cise : <em>\u00ab\u00a0Cela ne correspond-il pas plut\u00f4t aux immuables caract\u00e9ristiques de la jeunesse ? Celui qui consid\u00e8re parfaitement normal de travailler avec des \u00e9couteurs est-il fondamentalement diff\u00e9rent de celui qui, une g\u00e9n\u00e9ration plus t\u00f4t, ne voyait pas pourquoi il continuerait \u00e0 porter une cravate ou \u00e0 vouvoyer son coll\u00e8gue ? Rien de neuf dans le conflit opposant les anciens aux modernes. \u00ab\u00a0La jeunesse subversive mais cr\u00e9ative et aimant le risque, \u00e7a a toujours exist\u00e9. Le st\u00e9r\u00e9otype de l&rsquo;\u00e9tudiant agit\u00e9, en phase avec l&rsquo;air du temps mais dangereux, inspire les m\u00eames sentiments depuis un si\u00e8cle\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>, assure le chercheur Jean Pralong.<\/p>\n<p>A ceux qui en douteraient, il cite le cas d&rsquo;un jeune bricolo aux horaires aussi impr\u00e9visibles que les r\u00e9sultats : Gaston Lagaffe. Entr\u00e9, chauss\u00e9 d&rsquo;espadrilles, dans la vie professionnelle en 1957. Les autres d\u00e9tracteurs des formations au management de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y font valoir que les moins de 30 ans n&rsquo;ont pas le monopole de ces nouveaux comportements. <em>\u00ab\u00a0On a men\u00e9 une enqu\u00eate comparative en posant les m\u00eames questions aupr\u00e8s de 900 personnes sur trois g\u00e9n\u00e9rations. Les trois vous disent qu&rsquo;elles veulent un travail qui a du sens et trouver l&rsquo;\u00e9quilibre entre leur vie priv\u00e9e et leur vie professionnelle&#8230; Les diff\u00e9rences sont minimes !\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> s&rsquo;exclame Fran\u00e7ois Pichault, professeur \u00e0 HEC-ULG. Dans son \u00e9tude &lsquo;Pour en finir avec la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y&#8230; \u00e9tude d&rsquo;une repr\u00e9sentation manag\u00e9riale&rsquo;, il a test\u00e9 les sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9s suppos\u00e9es de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y, du \u00ab\u00a0peu de sentiment d&rsquo;appartenance \u00e0 l&rsquo;entreprise\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0la difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 se projeter\u00a0\u00bb. Il y conc\u00e8de que les Y mettent davantage l&rsquo;accent \u00ab\u00a0sur le besoin de changer r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement d&rsquo;environnement\u00a0\u00bb&#8230;<br \/>\nAu-del\u00e0 de \u00e7a, <em>\u00ab\u00a0ce n&rsquo;est pas une g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y mais une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Y. Allez dans n&rsquo;importe quel conseil d&rsquo;administration, ils sont tous connect\u00e9s, ailleurs que l\u00e0 o\u00f9 ils sont suppos\u00e9s \u00eatre ! Ces nouveaux comportements affectent l&rsquo;ensemble des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> Dans les formations qu&rsquo;il donne, Francis Boyer pr\u00e9f\u00e8re d&rsquo;ailleurs parler de \u00ab\u00a0culture Y\u00a0\u00bb que de \u00ab\u00a0g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y\u00a0\u00bb, convaincu que l&rsquo;antagonisme ne se situe pas sur le plan des groupes d&rsquo;\u00e2ge. Comme l&rsquo;interroge l&rsquo;\u00e9tude de Fran\u00e7ois Pichault et Mathieu Pleyers, <em>\u00ab\u00a0n&rsquo;y a-t-il pas, en effet, aujourd&rsquo;hui, plus de proximit\u00e9 (en termes de rapports au travail) entre un cadre sup\u00e9rieur baby-boomer vivant en famille recompos\u00e9e et en qu\u00eate de nouveaux d\u00e9fis professionnels, et un jeune, fra\u00eechement dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 d&rsquo;une grande \u00e9cole, pacs\u00e9 depuis peu et qui entre sur le march\u00e9 du travail, qu&rsquo;entre ce jeune et un autre membre de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y \u00e0 faible qualification ayant d\u00e9j\u00e0 subi l&rsquo;alternance de plusieurs emplois pr\u00e9caires et de p\u00e9riodes de ch\u00f4mage ? \u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Faites-nous part \u00e0 votre part de vos exp\u00e9riences concr\u00e8tes.
