Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son Barom\u00e8tre de la perception des discriminations dans l&#8217;emploi, elle souligne que la question du genre n&rsquo;est pas vraiment pertinente en la mati\u00e8re. Par contre, l&rsquo;origine ethnique et l&rsquo;orientation sexuelle semblent \u00eatre des crit\u00e8res &lsquo;d\u00e9clencheurs&rsquo; de situation dite de harc\u00e8lement professionnel. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude se base sur des donn\u00e9es recueillis en France.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Pr\u00e8s d\u2019une personne sur quatre en France d\u00e9clare avoir fait l\u2019objet de propos ou de comportement sexistes, homophobes, racistes, li\u00e9s \u00e0 la religion, handiphobes ou encore li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat de sant\u00e9 au travail.\u00a0C\u2019est l\u2019un des r\u00e9sultats mis en avant dans le Barom\u00e8tre de la perception des discriminations dans l\u2019emploi r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par le D\u00e9fenseur des droits et le bureau pour la France de l\u2019Organisation internationale du Travail (OIT) dont la 11e \u00e9dition vient d&rsquo;\u00eatre publi\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019enqu\u00eate men\u00e9e en 2016 par le D\u00e9fenseur des droits est bas\u00e9e sur un \u00e9chantillon repr\u00e9sentatif de la population fran\u00e7aise.\u00a0Elle montre que le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de la d\u00e9valorisation au travail touche les femmes et les hommes de mani\u00e8re quasi-\u00e9gale. Ainsi, 33 pour cent des hommes et 32 pour cent des femmes interrog\u00e9(e)s d\u00e9clarent avoir eu l\u2019impression d\u2019\u00eatre d\u00e9valoris\u00e9s injustement au cours des 5 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Toutefois, une \u00e9tude plus affin\u00e9e montre que certains groupes sociaux sont plus particuli\u00e8rement expos\u00e9s aux propos et comportements stigmatisants. Ainsi, les femmes per\u00e7ues comme non-blanches entre 18 et 44 ans sont 54 pour cent \u00e0 d\u00e9clarer avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019objet de propos et de comportements stigmatisants ainsi que 43 pour cent des femmes en situation de handicap.<\/p>\n<p>Si les hommes per\u00e7us comme blancs et \u00e2g\u00e9s de 35 \u00e0 44 ans sont peu concern\u00e9s (11 pour cent), 40 pour cent des hommes homosexuels ou bisexuels, ainsi que 40 pour cent des jeunes hommes per\u00e7us comme noirs ou arabes se rapprochent de la situation observ\u00e9s chez les femmes.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude met \u00e9galement en \u00e9vidence que ces comportements se retrouvent aussi bien dans le secteur public (27 pour cent), le secteur priv\u00e9 (25 pour cent) et un peu moins chez les travailleurs ind\u00e9pendants (22 pour cent).\u00a0<em>\u00abLa plupart du temps, ces faits se produisent dans un contexte d\u2019hostilit\u00e9 professionnelle incluant des exp\u00e9riences de discrimination et de d\u00e9valorisation au travail qui s\u2019accumulent, conduisant au harc\u00e8lement discriminatoire\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>L\u2019excuse de l\u2019humour<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude signale \u00e9galement que ces ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes sont souvent minimis\u00e9s au travail, en particulier quand les auteurs de ces propos et comportements d\u00e9clarent avoir voulu faire de l\u2019humour.<\/p>\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats du Barom\u00e8tre permettent \u00e9galement d\u2019\u00e9tablir des liens entre les ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes de harc\u00e8lement et la discrimination. Cela permettrait notamment aux victimes de saisir la justice et le D\u00e9fenseur des droits. D\u2019o\u00f9 \u00e9galement la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9, pour les auteurs, d\u2019int\u00e9grer les propos et comportements sexistes, racistes, homophobes, li\u00e9s \u00e0 la religion, handiphobes ou li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat de sant\u00e9 \u00e0 une d\u00e9marche de pr\u00e9vention globale.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cL\u2019OIT a entam\u00e9 un processus qui vise \u00e0 aboutir \u00e0 de nouvelles normes mondiales &#8230; afin d\u2019aider les gouvernements \u00e0 mieux lutter contre la violence et le harc\u00e8lement au travail.\u00bb\u00a0<\/em>Cyril Cosme, directeur du bureau de pays de l\u2019OIT pour la France : <em>\u00abLes situations d\u00e9crites dans notre Barom\u00e8tre concernent la France mais elles ne sont pas sp\u00e9cifiques \u00e0 un seul pays.
