Au-del\u00e0 du chiffre de nature \u00e0 frapper l&rsquo;imagination, c&rsquo;est le principe d&rsquo;un \u00e9quilibre n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 privil\u00e9gier face \u00e0 la pression qui s&rsquo;exerce au boulot.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>StepStone a interrog\u00e9 plus de 5000 travailleurs belges concernant leur pause de midi et en a tir\u00e9 plusieurs constatations majeures. Plus de la moiti\u00e9 (58 %) des travailleurs belges ne prennent pas l\u2019int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 de leur pause de midi qui ne dure d\u00e8s lors en moyenne que 22 minutes, alors qu\u2019environ 40 minutes sont autoris\u00e9es par l\u2019employeur.<\/p>\n<p>Tandis que 2019 commence, ainsi que sa saison des bonnes r\u00e9solutions, ne serait-il pas temps de prendre enfin l\u2019int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 de cette pause de midi. Ne pas le faire peut en effet avoir un impact notable \u00e0 long terme.<br \/>\nPourquoi le Belge ne prend-il pas sa pause de midi ?\u00a074% des r\u00e9pondants d\u00e9clare avoir trop de travail. Autres raisons, bien moins d\u00e9terminantes cependant, la possibilit\u00e9 de rentrer chez soi plus t\u00f4t (15 %) et le fait de ne pas accorder beaucoup d\u2019importance \u00e0 sa pause (15 %).\u00a0Parmi ceux qui ne prennent pas de pause, ou seulement en partie, 71 % choisissent de d\u00e9jeuner \u00e0 leur poste, \u00e9ventuellement pendant un moment plus calme.<\/p>\n<p>Il est important de noter que plus de 16 % des Belges qui ne prennent pas l\u2019int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 de leur pause ne mangent pas du tout sur leur lieu de travail.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Les travailleurs francophones davantage soumis \u00e0 la pression ?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Une\u00a0forte diff\u00e9rence r\u00e9gionale\u00a0appara\u00eet via la question consistant \u00e0 savoir si le travailleur belge se sent mis sous pression pour ne pas prendre de pause.\u00a013 % des r\u00e9pondants n\u00e9erlandophones ressentent une pression les incitant \u00e0 continuer de travailler le midi. Parmi les travailleurs francophones, ce pourcentage est de 28 %, un chiffre inqui\u00e9tant. Soulignons \u00e9galement que plus de 7 % des personnes interrog\u00e9es ont pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 ne pas r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cette question. Sans grande surprise, la culture d\u2019entreprise joue un r\u00f4le majeur dans la d\u00e9cision de prendre ou non sa pause. L\u2019employeur a donc une influence \u00e9vidente sur la pause de son travailleur.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Quelles cons\u00e9quences ?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Une cons\u00e9quence irr\u00e9futable est d\u2019ordre financier. En convertissant la pause de midi prest\u00e9e en valeur financi\u00e8re, on obtient une perte de plus de 44.000\u20ac nets par travailleur. Sur une carri\u00e8re \u00e0 temps plein de 45 ans, cela correspond \u00e0 une p\u00e9riode d\u2019environ un an et demi de travail non-r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s entre les sexes et donc une diff\u00e9rence au niveau du salaire net moyen, la perte de salaire li\u00e9e aux prestations suppl\u00e9mentaires durant la pause de midi se r\u00e9v\u00e8le remarquablement similaire. La diff\u00e9rence constat\u00e9e sur le temps de pause (une minute suppl\u00e9mentaire prest\u00e9e par les femmes) compense en partie l\u2019in\u00e9galit\u00e9 du salaire de base.\u00a0Ainsi, un travailleur de sexe masculin perdra 44.205\u20ac net tout au long de sa carri\u00e8re en travaillant plus longtemps, tandis qu&rsquo;une femme perd en moyenne 44.344\u20ac net en int\u00e9grant ce temps de travail dans sa pause de midi.<\/p>\n<p><em>M\u00e9thodologie &#8211; Le calcul de la perte de salaire durant la pause de midi a \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9 sur la base d&rsquo;une semaine de travail \u00e0 temps plein au cours d\u2019une carri\u00e8re de 45 ans (22-67 ans), une \u00ab ann\u00e9e de travail \u00bb \u00e9tant compos\u00e9e de 252 jours.
