C\u00f4t\u00e9 face : presque deux tiers (64 %) des travailleurs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 absents au moins un jour pour cause de maladie. L&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme pour cause de maladie en Belgique a continu\u00e9 d&rsquo;augmenter pour atteindre en moyenne 12,6 jours par an en 2018. Cette augmentation est principalement due au taux d&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme de longue dur\u00e9e qui a augment\u00e9 de 75 % en dix ans.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Le Belge est de plus en plus longtemps absent du travail pour cause de maladie<br \/>\nL&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme pour cause de maladie chez les travailleurs belges ne cesse d&rsquo;augmenter. Le nombre moyen de jours de maladie a augment\u00e9 de 34 %. Concr\u00e8tement, ceci signifie qu&rsquo;en 2018, le Belge a \u00e9t\u00e9 absent en moyenne 12,6 jours pour cause de maladie (contre 9,4 en 2008). Le taux d&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme total est pass\u00e9 de 4,15 % \u00e0 5,54 % depuis 2008, ce qui repr\u00e9sente une hausse de 40 %.<\/p>\n<p>Le taux d&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme de courte dur\u00e9e (absence de moins d&rsquo;un mois) est pass\u00e9 de 2,63 % \u00e0 2,78 %. Ce dernier chiffre repr\u00e9sente une augmentation de 14,40 % par rapport au chiffre de 2008 (2,43 %). Concr\u00e8tement : en 2018, le Belge a \u00e9t\u00e9 malade pour une courte dur\u00e9e pendant 2,78 jours en moyenne sur cent jours de travail.<br \/>\nL&rsquo;augmentation importante de l&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme total pour cause de maladie est principalement due \u00e0 l&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme de longue dur\u00e9e (absence pour cause de maladie d&rsquo;un mois \u00e0 un an) qui ne cesse d&rsquo;augmenter. L&rsquo;ann\u00e9e pass\u00e9e, l&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme de longue dur\u00e9e s&rsquo;\u00e9levait \u00e0 3,03 %, contre 1,73 % en 2008. Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une augmentation de 75,1 %.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>L&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme de longue dur\u00e9e\u00a0\u00e0 un niveau critique dans les grandes entreprises.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le nombre de travailleurs absents pour une longue dur\u00e9e continue d&rsquo;augmenter : pr\u00e8s de 12,3 % des travailleurs dans le secteur priv\u00e9 belge sont rest\u00e9s chez eux entre un mois et un an l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re pour cause de maladie ; l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, ce chiffre s&rsquo;\u00e9levait \u00e0 11,7 %. \u00ab Cet absent\u00e9isme de longue dur\u00e9e augmente plus fortement dans les tr\u00e8s grandes organisations comptant plus de 1 000 travailleurs. En dessous de 50 travailleurs, on observe une stabilisation,\u00a0\ufffcvoire m\u00eame un l\u00e9ger recul. Il s&rsquo;agit n\u00e9anmoins d&rsquo;un point d&rsquo;attention pour toutes les organisations \u00bb, explique Fran\u00e7ois Lombard, Senior Consultant chez SD Worx.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Mesures pr\u00e9ventives<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab Les organisations essaient de plus en plus de miser sur la pr\u00e9vention, e.a. en organisant des formations pour les dirigeants, en encourageant un style de vie sain chez les collaborateurs&#8230; Outre une liste de mesures, elles cherchent une approche int\u00e9gr\u00e9e et sont par cons\u00e9quent en qu\u00eate d&rsquo;une meilleure compr\u00e9hension des facteurs qui causent ou renforcent l&rsquo;absent\u00e9isme. \u00bb<\/em><br \/>\nLes experts ont vu\u00a0les co\u00fbts augmenter sensiblement ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es : <em>\u00ab Par ex. pour une organisation de 100 travailleurs, il s&rsquo;agit en moyenne de 100 000 euros (salaire garanti) par an, sans compter les frais de remplacement ou d&rsquo;autres frais indirects.
