Un argument int\u00e9ressant actuellement, alors que nous observons que le passage vers le statut freelance s&rsquo;op\u00e8re d\u00e9sormais beaucoup plus facilement&#8230; Les entrepreneurs qui se lancent \u00e0 un \u00e2ge plus avanc\u00e9 voient leurs affaires tourner plus longtemps que les jeunes ind\u00e9pendants. Deux ans apr\u00e8s le lancement de leur activit\u00e9, 78 % des plus de 50 ans sont encore actifs, contre 67 % des jeunes \u00e2g\u00e9s de 18 \u00e0 25 ans. Les principaux atouts des nouveaux entrepreneurs de plus de 50 ans sont leur exp\u00e9rience et leur r\u00e9seau.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Une \u00e9tude men\u00e9e entre 2013 et 2018 aupr\u00e8s de 18 244 nouveaux entrepreneurs de plus de 50 ans qui font appel aux services de Liantis, r\u00e9v\u00e8le que 78 % d\u2019entre eux sont encore en activit\u00e9 apr\u00e8s 2 ans. Ce chiffre est un peu plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 chez les femmes (81%) que chez les hommes (76%). Parmi les 25 944 jeunes entrepreneurs \u00e2g\u00e9s de 18 \u00e0 25 ans, le pourcentage s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 67 %, soit pr\u00e8s de 10 % de moins que pour les plus de 50 ans.<\/p>\n<p>Marleen Plessers, consultant chez Liantis : <em>\u00ab Leurs connaissances, leur longue exp\u00e9rience et leur sens des r\u00e9alit\u00e9s, ainsi que leur vaste r\u00e9seau sont autant d\u2019atouts pour ces personnes. Ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments constituent une s\u00e9rieuse valeur ajout\u00e9e en tant que nouveaux entrepreneurs. \u00bb\u00a0<\/em>De plus, ces ind\u00e9pendants plus \u00e2g\u00e9s se pr\u00e9parent souvent tr\u00e8s bien avant de franchir le pas. Ils sont \u00e9galement plus enclins \u00e0 se faire aider par des sp\u00e9cialistes. <em>\u00ab Combin\u00e9e \u00e0 leur exp\u00e9rience et leur r\u00e9seau, cette attitude augmente fortement leurs chances de r\u00e9ussite. \u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>De plus en plus d\u2019ind\u00e9pendants de plus de 50 ans<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En 2018, les plus de 50 ans constituaient 14 % des nouveaux ind\u00e9pendants. Une tendance qui reste stable par rapport \u00e0 2013 (13 %). En chiffres absolus, nous constatons une popularit\u00e9 croissante du statut d\u2019ind\u00e9pendant aupr\u00e8s des plus de 50 ans. Le nombre de nouveaux entrepreneurs de plus de 50 ans a augment\u00e9 de 69 % entre 2013 et 2018. Quelque 3 752 entrepreneurs de plus de 50 ans se sont lanc\u00e9s comme ind\u00e9pendants en 2018, contre 2 207 en 2013. Cette population cro\u00eet ainsi plus rapidement que la population totale des entrepreneurs (+52 %). Le nombre de jeunes ind\u00e9pendants a enregistr\u00e9 une hausse de 41 %.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab Le nombre de personnes de plus de 50 ans augmente sans cesse en raison du vieillissement de la population.\u00a0L\u2019\u00e9conomie se porte relativement bien et il faut travailler de plus en plus longtemps. Cette situation incite donc certaines personnes \u00e0 g\u00e9rer elles-m\u00eames leur carri\u00e8re. \u00bb<\/em><br \/>\nCe sont surtout les hommes qui lancent leur entreprise \u00e0 un \u00e2ge plus avanc\u00e9. Aujourd\u2019hui, 7 nouveaux entrepreneurs sur 10 \u00e2g\u00e9s de plus de 50 ans sont des hommes. Ce m\u00eame rapport s\u2019applique d\u2019ailleurs \u00e0 l\u2019ensemble de la population des nouveaux ind\u00e9pendants (65,7 %) et aux jeunes (64,3 %).<\/p>\n<p>De plus en plus de personnes de plus de 50 ans optent en outre pour un statut d\u2019ind\u00e9pendant \u00e0 titre principal (51 % en 2018 contre 40 % en 2013). Les hommes ind\u00e9pendants qui se tournent vers une activit\u00e9 \u00e0 titre principal restent toutefois plus nombreux que les femmes.
