Pas moins d\u2019un starter sur 6 fait partie de cette cat\u00e9gorie d\u2019\u00e2ge d\u2019apr\u00e8s les chiffres de l\u2019entreprise de services RH ACERTA. Tant les hommes que les femmes choisissent de prendre un nouveau d\u00e9part pour les 10 \u00e0 15 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es de leur carri\u00e8re. Sans doute \u00e9galement le fruit de circonstances qui entra\u00eenent un assouplissement des exigences afin de devenir ind\u00e9pendant.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Selon les chiffres d\u2019Acerta, 15,4 % des ind\u00e9pendants qui ont commenc\u00e9 leur activit\u00e9 en 2018 ont plus de 50 ans. Ce pourcentage est pratiquement identique \u00e0 celui de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2017. Un pourcentage \u00e9lev\u00e9, car il y a dix ans, les plus de 50 ans ne repr\u00e9sentaient que 12,6 % des starters. Leur proportion a augment\u00e9 de 22 % en 10 ans. Le pourcentage moyen de starters \u00e2g\u00e9s de plus de 50 ans s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 14,25 % pour cette d\u00e9cennie.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Des circonstances plus favorables?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Plusieurs raisons expliquent le plus grand int\u00e9r\u00eat des plus de 50 ans pour le statut d\u2019ind\u00e9pendant. Pour commencer, le statut d\u2019ind\u00e9pendant s\u2019est am\u00e9lior\u00e9 au fil des ann\u00e9es. Les exigences ont \u00e9t\u00e9 assouplies : prenez par exemple l\u2019offre croissante en mati\u00e8re d\u2019accompagnement des starters. La mentalit\u00e9 a \u00e9galement chang\u00e9 : l\u2019objectif principal n\u2019est plus de prester une seule longue carri\u00e8re chez le m\u00eame employeur. La carri\u00e8re est de plus en plus un trajet que les travailleurs prennent, au moins en partie, en main. Les entrepreneurs de plus de 50 ans peuvent ais\u00e9ment \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme durables dans les statistiques des starters.<\/p>\n<p>Nadine Morren, Director Service \u00e0 la Client\u00e8le chez Acerta d\u00e9clare : <em>\u00ab\u2009Le travail implique l\u2019engagement et le d\u00e9veloppement du talent, c\u2019est le message relay\u00e9 par toutes les parties prenantes : enseignement, pouvoirs publics, employeurs, travailleurs. Le march\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi s\u2019adapte continuellement \u00e0 ce besoin. Nous constatons une \u00e9volution continue, il est donc logique que les emplois qui durent toute une carri\u00e8re n\u2019existent quasiment plus. Sans oublier la perception diff\u00e9rente sur l\u2019\u00e2ge : 50 ans, ce n\u2019est pas vieux. Vous avez encore un r\u00f4le \u00e0 jouer sur le march\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi pour encore facilement 15 ans. Commencer quelque chose de nouveau \u00e0 50 ans n\u2019est donc pas si \u00e9trange. En tant que cinquantenaire, vous avez d\u00e9j\u00e0 accumul\u00e9 pas mal d\u2019exp\u00e9rience. Si tout va bien, vous avez \u00e9galement pu vous constituer une assise financi\u00e8re. Si vous avez des enfants, les ann\u00e9es les plus sensibles sont pass\u00e9es. Et peut-\u00eatre que les nombreux jeunes entrepreneurs ont un effet contagieux\u2009?\u2009\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p>La liste des circonstances favorables :<br \/>\n\u25cf Am\u00e9lioration du statut d\u2019ind\u00e9pendant<br \/>\n\u25cf Large offre d\u2019accompagnement<br \/>\n\u25cf Changement de mentalit\u00e9 : tout le monde b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie de plus d\u2019ind\u00e9pendance<br \/>\n\u25cf Pension : \u00e0 50 ans, vous n\u2019avez pas fini de vivre \/ travailler<br \/>\n\u25cf Les certitudes et l\u2019exp\u00e9rience viennent avec les ann\u00e9es<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Quels m\u00e9tiers concern\u00e9s?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Le commerce et l\u2019horeca sont les secteurs o\u00f9 les plus de 50 ans sont plus pr\u00e9sents que la moyenne. Nous connaissons tous une personne qui a boulevers\u00e9 sa carri\u00e8re et a ouvert un caf\u00e9, un bed &amp; breakfast ou une boutique. Les professions intellectuelles \u2013 informaticiens, coaches, traducteurs&#8230; \u2013 comptent \u00e9galement une proportion plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e de starters qui ont accumul\u00e9 plusieurs ann\u00e9es d\u2019exp\u00e9rience.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u2009Les starters plus \u00e2g\u00e9s ne pr\u00e9sentent pas un score au-dessus de la moyenne, mais au-dessus des attentes dans le secteur de la construction. Le march\u00e9 pr\u00e9sente une forte demande d\u2019hommes de m\u00e9tier dans ce secteur. Manifestement, les hommes de m\u00e9tier exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent accepter ces (petits) chantiers qu\u2019ils peuvent assumer, qui sont plus proches de chez eux, etc. au lieu de travailler pour un patron.\u2009\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>40\/60 femmes\/hommes<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>16 % des starters masculins sont \u00e2g\u00e9s de plus de 50 ans tandis qu\u2019elles sont 14,5 % de starters f\u00e9minins \u00e0 d\u00e9passer cet \u00e2ge. La part de femmes augmente l\u00e9g\u00e8rement : il y a 10 ans, le rapport hommes\/femmes \u00e9tait de 60,3 % contre 39,7 %. En 2018, il s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 59,8 % contre 40,2 %.<\/p>\n<p>Nadine Morren indique : <em>\u00ab\u2009Les femmes starters \u201ctardives\u201d s\u2019appuient sur les m\u00eames motivations que les hommes et certaines sont encore plus prononc\u00e9es. Il s\u2019agit par exemple encore surtout de femmes qui ont pris un cong\u00e9 parental ou un cr\u00e9dit-temps au d\u00e9but de leur carri\u00e8re ou qui travaillent \u00e0 quatre cinqui\u00e8mes pour s\u2019occuper de leurs enfants. Rien de plus logique donc que les opportunit\u00e9s aient plus d\u2019impact sur la carri\u00e8re des femmes puisque les enfants grandissent.
