Le foss\u00e9 salarial semble ainsi d\u00e9j\u00e0 combl\u00e9 parmi les \u00e9tudiants. Le constat moins positif est en revanche l\u2019absence d\u2019indication selon laquelle le r\u00e9cent assouplissement de la r\u00e9glementation r\u00e9duirait la part de travail au noir. La proportion d\u2019\u00e9tudiants travaillant sans contrat ne baisse pas.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>73% des \u00e9tudiants travaillent pendant l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9, dont plus d\u2019un mois pour un peu plus d\u2019un tiers d\u2019entre eux (soit 27% de tous les \u00e9tudiants). Par ailleurs, 64% des \u00e9tudiants travaillent pendant l\u2019ann\u00e9e scolaire et 26% de tous les \u00e9tudiants travaillent durant l\u2019un des cong\u00e9s scolaires plus courts (No\u00ebl, P\u00e2ques, Carnaval, Toussaint). 58% des \u00e9tudiants travaillent aussi bien en \u00e9t\u00e9 que durant l\u2019ann\u00e9e scolaire. Aujourd\u2019hui, 80% de l\u2019ensemble des \u00e9tudiants travaillent au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e (contre 78% en 2017). Le nombre de jours auxquels les \u00e9tudiants disent travailler en moyenne (temps partiel et temps plein confondus) est pass\u00e9 de 50 \u00e0 60 en 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Seuls 20% de l\u2019ensemble des \u00e9tudiants de plus de 15 ans ne travaillent pas du tout. 58% travaillent aussi bien durant les vacances d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 que pendant l\u2019ann\u00e9e scolaire. 7% ne travaillent que durant l\u2019ann\u00e9e scolaire et 15% travaillent uniquement pendant l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9. 80% de tous les \u00e9tudiants travaillent au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, encore une l\u00e9g\u00e8re hausse par rapport aux ann\u00e9es pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Le foss\u00e9 salarial est combl\u00e9.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pour la premi\u00e8re fois depuis le lancement de cette \u00e9tude en 2004, les \u00e9tudiants de sexe masculin et f\u00e9minin font \u00e9tat d\u2019un salaire horaire \u00e9quivalent pour le dernier job \u00e9tudiant qu\u2019ils ont exerc\u00e9, \u00e0 savoir 12,2 euros. Sur l\u2019ensemble de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, les hommes disent encore gagner davantage (respectivement 2.600 euros contre 2.200 pour les femmes). Dans le circuit des travaux d\u2019appoint (babysitting, entretien de jardins), les hommes touchent le double des femmes (respectivement 800 et 400 euros) sur base annuelle.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Le travail au noir est tenace.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Depuis le d\u00e9but de l\u2019enqu\u00eate, le nombre d\u2019\u00e9tudiants travaillant sans contrat oscille \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s entre 15 et 20%. Il \u00e9tait \u00e0 pr\u00e9voir que la nouvelle l\u00e9gislation sur le travail des \u00e9tudiants, entr\u00e9e en vigueur d\u00e9but 2017, l\u00e8verait le dernier obstacle au travail sous contrat. L\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, nous avions d\u00e9j\u00e0 constat\u00e9 que ce n\u2019\u00e9tait pas le cas. L\u2019\u00e9tude de cette ann\u00e9e ne semble pas non plus montrer de signes d\u2019\u00e9volution positive. Pr\u00e8s d\u2019un r\u00e9pondant sur cinq avoue travailler sans contrat. Une proportion qui passe \u00e0 27% chez les moins de 18 ans.<\/p>\n<p>Comme la majorit\u00e9 du travail au noir se d\u00e9roule dans les petites entreprises (-10 travailleurs), le respect de la loi coule \u00e9galement moins de source.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Les \u00e9tudiants se font de plus en plus exigeants.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Un employeur averti en vaut deux. L\u2019\u00e9norme p\u00e9nurie et les \u00e9ventails de possibilit\u00e9s plus larges pour les \u00e9tudiants ont rendu ces derniers plus exigeants dans leurs attentes. L\u2019affirmation \u00ab je ne suis pas pr\u00eat(e) \u00e0 accepter n\u2019importe quel job \u00bb re\u00e7oit un score de 7 ou plus sur une \u00e9chelle de 0 \u00e0 10 chez 65% des \u00e9tudiants. La moyenne s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 7,1 contre seulement 6 l\u2019an dernier. Les hommes sont aussi exigeants que les femmes. Les \u00e9tudiants marquent \u00e9galement leurs exigences en terme d\u2019horaires de travail, en restant plus critiques \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard du travail \u00e0 prester le week-end ou en soir\u00e9e. Aucune diff\u00e9rence \u00e0 relever non plus entre hommes et femmes sur ce point. Il est tout \u00e0 fait plausible de supposer qu\u2019il va \u00e9galement devenir plus difficile de combler ces postes dans le segment des \u00e9tudiants.<\/p>\n<p>34% des \u00e9tudiants s\u2019engagent comme b\u00e9n\u00e9voles. La forte augmentation du travail des \u00e9tudiants n\u2019a pas r\u00e9duit la part de travail b\u00e9n\u00e9vole.<br \/>\nles secteurs faisant le plus appel aux \u00e9tudiants sont clairement le commerce de d\u00e9tail (21%), l\u2019horeca (18%) et le secteur public\/non marchand (13%). La plupart des \u00e9tudiants sont engag\u00e9s comme caissiers (12%), employ\u00e9s administratifs (11%), ouvriers de production (11%) et magasiniers (11%), autant de m\u00e9tiers qui souffrent d\u2019une forte destruction d\u2019emplois. On \u00e9pinglera la baisse de la proportion d\u2019\u00e9tudiants travaillant comme nettoyeur (de 8 \u00e0 5%).<br \/>\nla famille (30%) reste le canal le plus efficace pour trouver un job \u00e9tudiant.
