Met 1,2 miljoen euro steun uit het Europees Sociaal Fonds (ESF Vlaanderen 2021\u20132027) wil Skillsmatch Limburg de krapte op de arbeidsmarkt aanpakken en de Limburgse industrie voorbereiden op de toekomst.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Het project past binnen de ambitie van SALKturbo, het Limburgs economisch actieplan voor duurzame groei, om de lokale economie te versterken.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Brug tussen werkzoekenden en bedrijven<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>De uitdagingen zijn groot: terwijl bedrijven steeds moeilijker geschikt personeel vinden, blijft een diverse groep werkzoekenden onderbenut. Skillsmatch wil dat patroon doorbreken door in te zetten op realistische leeromgevingen, innovatieve trajecten en een nieuwe inclusieve werkcultuur. Zo ontstaat een win-win: ondernemingen krijgen toegang tot gemotiveerde talenten, en werkzoekenden vinden de weg naar duurzame jobs in de industrie.<\/p>\n<p>Vincent Mispelaere, algemeen directeur van PlastIQ en trekker van het project: <em>\u201cMet Skillsmatch Limburg slaan we een brug tussen mensen en bedrijven. Inclusieve tewerkstelling is niet alleen sociaal belangrijk, maar ook economisch noodzakelijk. Dit project bewijst dat we via samenwerking en innovatie Limburg sterker en veerkrachtiger kunnen maken.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>De lancering vond plaats bij Sporting Hasselt, dat optreedt als ambassadeur. Het voorzittersduo Sam Kerkhofs en Rik Verheyen opent de deuren van de club om bedrijven, partners en doelgroepen samen te brengen. Ze leggen de link tussen voetbal en arbeidsmarkt: <em>\u201cVoetbal toont elke dag dat talent overal aanwezig is, ongeacht afkomst of achtergrond. Skillsmatch Limburg brengt datzelfde geloof naar de werkvloer: iedereen verdient een kans om mee te doen en te groeien\u201d<\/em>, besluit het duo.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Europese steun via SALKturbo<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Skillsmatch Limburg past binnen de ambitie van SALKturbo om de Limburgse economie te versterken. Met de steun van Europese middelen en de samenwerking tussen partners als PlastIQ, Atrium, Alternatief vzw, Sporting Hasselt en VDAB wordt een stevige basis gelegd voor een arbeidsmarkt die niemand achterlaat.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Oproep aan bedrijven<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Tijdens het startevent werden Limburgse ondernemingen expliciet opgeroepen om mee hun schouders onder Skillsmatch Limburg te zetten.
