Extreme HR delen we in dit dossier op in drie luiken: extreme bedrijven, extreme situaties, extreme mensen. Extreme bedrijven zijn de organisaties waarvan de beroepen een uitzonderlijke dimensie bevatten. Extreme situaties zijn periodes van onder andere groei, fusie, seizoensgebonden werk enzovoort. En met extreme mensen bedoelen we de bazen die een extreme visie of manier van werken hebben\u2026 <!--more--><\/h1>\n<h3>Coverstory<\/h3>\n<p><strong> Marianne Vael <em>(UZ Leuven)<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nMarianne Vael heeft als personeelsdirecteur van het UZ Leuven de verantwoordelijkheid over meer dan 9.000 personeelsleden. Een hele uitdaging, maar een die ze met veel voldoening aangaat. \u201cMet mensen omgaan is meer dan boeiend. Ik ben al heel mijn professionele leven bezig geweest met mensen,\u201d zegt ze terwijl ze naar het schilderij achter haar gebaart. Op het kunstwerk prijkt een mooie spreuk: \u201da never ending story to the inner self.\u201c Met mensen werken is constant op zoek gaan naar wat mensen drijft, wat mensen zijn maar ook niet zijn.\u201d <\/p>\n<h3>PeopleCompany<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Kunsthuis Vlaanderen<\/strong><br \/>\nIn januari 2014 fuseerden de Vlaamse Opera en het Koninklijk Ballet van Vlaanderen. Dit zorgde voor niet weinig uitdagingen op tal van vlakken; ook op HR-vlak! Lena De Meerleer, algemeen directeur van het Kunsthuis, stippelde een aantal trajecten uit om met die uitdagingen om<br \/>\nte gaan. <\/p>\n<h3>Een week in het leven van&#8230; Mieke Hullebroeck<\/h3>\n<p>Mieke Hullebroeck werkt sinds 2012 bij OCMW Gent als departementshoofd voor de ondersteunende diensten en sinds april 2015 als departementshoofd HR voor Stad Gent en OCMW Gent.  De ondersteunende diensten (HR, Facility Management, Communicatie, ICT, Kwaliteit, Archief) van Stad en OCMW fusioneren, en deze reorganisatie zit op kruissnelheid.
