Ik heb toen trouwens geleerd dat mensen alleen kunnen groeien als ze kansen krijgen. Ook al zijn mensen soms niet helemaal klaar voor een volgende stap, kan het toch ok\u00e9 zijn om een risico te nemen. Ze moeten de mogelijkheid krijgen om te bewijzen dat ze het kunnen. Dat kan enkel en alleen als er mensen zijn die in hen geloven. \u201d<!--more--><\/h1>\n<p>Door bij verschillende nationale en internationale bedrijven te werken, altijd in HR, heeft Anette B\u00f6hm geleerd dat het cruciaal is nooit projecten of beleidslijnen te copy-pasten. \u201cWat in het ene bedrijf werkt, is misschien niet mogelijk in een ander. Dat is een van de belangrijkste zaken die ik doorheen mijn carri\u00e8re geleerd heb.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>De aantrekkingskracht van KBC<\/h2>\n<p>Voor ze in 2013 bij KBC begon, had Anette B\u00f6hm geen uitgesproken affiniteit met de financi\u00eble sector. Waarom niet? \u201cDe financi\u00eble sector\u00a0heeft in het algemeen de reputatie om een zeer traditionele sector te zijn\u00a0en\u00a0conservatieve werkwijzen aan\u00a0te houden. Toen ik gecontacteerd werd door KBC, ben ik toch beginnen rondkijken. Ik ben zo op een interview van Groeps-CEO Johan Thijs gestoten, waarin hij het had over het cultuurveranderingsproces van KBC en de uitdagingen waar het bedrijf voor stond. Hij had namelijk net PEARL gelanceerd, onze nieuwe bedrijfscultuur. Hij vertelde verder over d\u00e9 uitdaging van de financi\u00eble sector: de verandering. Het is nu belangrijker dan ooit om mensen mee te krijgen. Een business strategie schrijven alleen is onvoldoende, de medewerkers moeten ook een houvast hebben in die veranderende omgeving. Daarom moeten zij goed weten wat van hen verwacht wordt naar de toekomst toe, hoe zij samen met het bedrijf verder kunnen evolueren. Ik kwam toen, na het lezen van het artikel, tot de conclusie dat werken bij KBC voor mij toch wel een erg interessante uitdaging zou zijn. Ik vond het goed dat de CEO een uitgesproken visie had; niet alleen van de business strategie maar ook van zijn medewerkers. Dat is bij ons nog extra belangrijk omdat we een service-gericht bedrijf zijn. Het zijn de mensen die deze service verkopen; als zij niet mee zijn in het veranderingsproces dan kan ook de business strategie niet gerealiseerd worden.
