Het tekort aan geschikte medewerkers laat zich in 2016 voelen bij 24% van de 751 Belgische werkgevers. Dat blijkt uit een enqu\u00eate van ManpowerGroup.<!--more--><\/h1>\n<p>In vergelijking met vorig jaar nam de spanning op de Vlaamse arbeidsmarkt toe (31% of 5 procentpunten meer) terwijl ze afneemt in Brussel (22% of 4 procentpunten minder) en Walloni\u00eb (13%, 5 punten minder). Opvallend is dat steeds meer werkgevers beseffen dat het schaarse talent vaak binnen handbereik ligt in de onderneming zelf. Liefst 51% investeert in de opleiding en vorming van hun medewerkers om zo de concurrentiekracht van de onderneming te versterken (vorig jaar was dat nog 17%!). Dankzij de interne opleiding versterken de inzetbaarheid binnen hun teams, een belangrijke troef in deze tijden van voortdurende verandering.<\/p>\n<p>Op de vraag\u00a0waarom ze hun vacatures moeilijk krijgen ingevuld, zijn de belangrijkste oorzaken: gebrek aan (of zelfs helemaal geen) beschikbare kandidaten (26%), onvoldoende technische vaardigheden of hard skills (18%), gebrek aan ervaring (17%), te weinig soft skills (persoonlijke of sociale vaardigheden) (16%) \u2026<\/p>\n<p>In tegenstelling tot vorig jaar nemen steeds meer werkgevers het heft zelf in handen om het tekort aan talent te tackelen. Naast fors meer opleiding en training, gaan ze rekruteren in niet-traditionele segmenten (48%) \u2013 jongere en oudere doelgroepen, nieuwe regio\u2019s \u2013 of bieden ze de kandidaten extra voordelen (38%) of betere loonvoorwaarden (29%).
