Managers denken hierbij aan snellere procesverwerking met minder fouten, ongelimiteerde schaalbaarheid en lagere cost of ownership. Daarnaast kunnen ze sneller beslissingen nemen, vanwege de geautomatiseerde analyses.<!--more--><\/h1>\n<p>Dit blijkt uit onderzoek van Cognizant onder 537 respondenten. De ondervraagde managers geven aan dat de inzet van procesautomatisering binnen hun organisatie al hoog is, maar dat ze slechts in de beginfase zitten als ze kijken naar de beschikbare technologie\u00ebn. Uit het onderzoek blijkt dat er nog enorm veel processen moeten worden geautomatiseerd. Zelflerende computers en kunstmatige intelligentie maken een nieuwe generatie van kennisrobots mogelijk die menselijke eigenschappen kunnen \u2018nadoen\u2019 met verschillende applicaties.<\/p>\n<p>Respondenten denken ongeveer 25 tot 40 procent van hun werkzaamheden te automatiseren. Deze automatisering kan vooral worden ingezet bij herhalingsprocedures en handmatige verwerking van documenten. Ongeveer de helft van de ondervraagden denkt dat automatisering hun zakelijke processen de komende drie tot vijf jaar aanzienlijk zal verbeteren. Zo\u2019n 44 procent heeft dezelfde verwachtingen voor zakelijke analyses.
